Happy Halloween Week!!! To kick off the scary fun, I thought it would be awesome if we could tell our own spooky tales. You know… kind of like around the “campfire” type of thing. Well, just go with it. It’s a virtual campfire. 😉 *snort* But, considering how much we love reading stories, I just KNEW we’d all have our own mini ghost stories to tell, and sure enough, authors and readers alike, sent me their own “personal experiences” with the real-life creepy stuff. AND OMG some of ’em gave me goosebumps. If y’all have more stories to tell, I’ll gladly post one of these posts each night to countdown our Halloween excitement!

What do you want more of, in books?
Oh WOW!! I love this question… and we’re always weighing the pros and cons of the latest and greatest reads. Some really connect with us and we’re trying to figure out what it is about the ones that we love, that make us love them so hard.
While we all have different books tastes, or book “catnip” (books with a subject that we just can’t resist), and maybe even just different moods, it’s always fun to pin down exactly what we want. What we’re looking for, or what we’ve realized about the books that we just… LOVE.

Dallas (and #RT15) rocked!!! We did SO much in the 4 days we were there, from meeting and hanging out with authors, to discovering a little bit of Dallas (at least within our walking vicinity). And we had so many adventures!!
My trip to the RT Book Lovers Convention 2015 – Recap Part 1…
GAH!!! It’s been exactly one week, since one of my favorite weeks ever, and I’m STILL reminiscing my heart out. Telling my friends, my aunt, my mom, you guys… Bits and pieces of my most cherished memories and hilarities that I’m scattering here, there and everywhere! I keep finding myself saying… “Oh!! This one time… blah blah blah…” and then I hear, “You already told me that one, Maryse.” Right. But there’s plenty I haven’t told some, so I’m going to collect all of my memories right here!
My Passion for “Book Bad Boys”
Bad boys (in books) are my favorite. I bet y’all didn’t know… huh? 😉 LOL! And sure… we’ve all been on a bad-boy kick for a few years now, and have a plethora of book-bad-boys to choose from. In fact, it was book bad-boys that took me out of my paranormal reading funk. They weren’t your typical “hero” and even at times, could totally be an anti-hero. And they had me swooning like mad, again!
But I still get that age-old question… what is it about bad boys that has us swooning so hard?
