A million hundred books came out yesterday 😉 and where was I? Giggling online about Book Bash and sleeping it off. It is AMAZING how long a body can run on adrenaline alone. A couple hours of sleep a night for 5 nights in a row and I barely felt it. But now? *sigh* Yep. Exhausted and terribly late (by one whole day) with this post. But I’m slowly getting my book brain back and I’ll be catching up on my reading as I also chronicle the event, too. In the meantime, you can tell me what you’re reading.

I’m back from Book Bash and I had the BEST WEEKEND EVER in my entire life!!!
Wow, that was simply the most intense, fun and fabulous time of my life and I met some of the greatest authors in the world and I can’t BELIEVE how floaty and happy I still am. I don’t think I’ll ever come down.
You guys… our favorite authors are the nicest, most fun and down to earth people! The sponsors rocked the event, the volunteers made everything run soooo smoothly (OH YOU GUYS!!! The VOLUNTEERS were the absolute best – I am the luckiest girl to have had them with me) and our fellow readers? Delightful!!! I met so many people and I hope that all of you that attended upload your photos to my Facebook page or the Book Bash Facebook page, ’cause I’m dying to see (and chat) with you all again. I’m already ready to reminisce. I MISS ALL OF YOU!!

I’m preparing for Book Bash right now!! I’m in it. In the full and thick of it. Okay.. not really “Book Bash” yet ’cause officially it’s tomorrow, but it’s prep day and we’re all going full blast. Author table setup, puttin’ up the banners, preparing the line areas, Books-A-Million is setting up as we speak. Books! Books everywhere books!! And did I mention authors? Yep! There goes one now!
Eeeeeep!! I’m so excited. But! Just ’cause I’m “on location” doesn’t mean I can shirk my blogging responsibilities. So as this event progresses, I will be taking pictures, notes and filling y’all in with all of the details.
“Real” by Katy Evans has a new cover, and I get to help reveal it!
Look, guys!! Real has a gorgeous new cover! Gallery Books (Simon and Schuster) are re-launching it on September 3rd and sent us a sneak peek. They told me it is a “…revised cover to REAL (drawn directly from the original cover everyone knows and loves). It was designed by the same person who did the original, Sarah at Okay Creations.”
She did a great job with this one. Perfect cover for one of my favorite books!
Have you read it yet? This book had my heart and my nerves on edge. I LOVED it, and I thrilled over how deeply the author delved into the hero’s emotion, affection and personal turmoil. His sweetness and his overreactions had my heart palpitating. I went from fluttery butterflies in my stomach to moments of sheer nervousness, and I love that kind of angsty roller coaster.
