    April 21, 2009

There are a lot of things I should be doing updates on—for example, how awesome and successful the Book Babe event was, and how cool it was to meet all the other authors and hang out with them a little bit, and how much I appreciated all the tremendous support from the fans—but instead of commenting on happy things (which I admit I should have done a week ago; I was waiting for things to slow down for a day, silly me!), I’m commenting on ridiculous internet rumors so that my publicist’s day will be just a little bit better. read more

True Blood news of the day!

  • A new cast member has been added to season 2. The nerdy/geeky head vampire of Dallas, “Stan”, will be played by Ed Quinn (he used to be on the show “Eureka”). Wow! He’s kinda handsome to be playing a nerd, but I’m anxious to see what they come up with. Come to think of it, Sookie did make a comment in the book, something along the lines of how underneath his nerdiness, he definitely had potential, and she deduced that it was probably a disguise of sorts. If I recall correctly, “Pam” also found him to her liking (she likes the geeks)…so I say good choice!
  • I also am providing a link to a great new interview at Eonline, with the actors in regards to the upcoming love triangle drama, and how they feel in real life about this situation (considering Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are a couple in real life). Enjoy!
  • Here is a link to the IGN website with a great synopsis of the upcoming season 2 of True Blood (careful when reading – there ARE spoilers). There are also quick descriptions of character sentiments as detailed by cast members, and series creator Alan Ball at the recent Paley Fest.

    • Some brand new pictures of the actors in action on the set of “New Moon”. I found a link to “Celebrity Gossip” where you can view them
    • The part of “Aro” (the head Volturi Vampire) will be played by British actor Michael Sheen
    • Belated birthday news! Kristen Stewart turned 19 on April 9th, and celebrated at a Vancouver restaurant with other castmates (including Robert Pattison)

    And there you have it!
