Mj.C is desperately looking for this one!! Oh boy this one sounds like it could be angsty!! Marital-strife alert, though I’m not sure he marries her considering what he overhears.

Reader Question… Solved! The book with the two brothers that are her neighbors and bully her…

By 7 Comments

Kathy needs our book help! I don’t have a ton of bully-book experience (other than how much I enjoyed “The Paper Princess“), but I don’t think that’s the one she’s looking for.

She asks:

Hi Maryse

…looking for help finding a book I can’t remember title or author.

It was about 2 brothers, high school age who kind of bully their neighbor girl who’s also high school age. They annoy her by having pool parties because their mom I believe is a nurse and works nights. read more

Reader Question – The funny book about the girl that starts working for a security corporation…

Lacey has a short and sweet one for us, so three immediately come to mind for me. Though I haven’t read many books featuring bodyguards and security companies, so I’m opening this up and hoping we can make a list at the same time.

She asks:

I read a book a long time ago about a girl that starts working for a security corporation? It’s kind of funny.

I thought the books are from her point of view?

Maryse: I’m going to submit THREE guesses. Three series that I haven’t read yet, but that are HUGELY LOVED in our book crew, are supposedly very funny and that I must get to ASAP. That would be: read more

Reader Question – The book about the girl that goes into a sex club and asks for protection from her stalker…

Amber is looking for this one! Oh I think I read one like this, so I’m submitting a guess. It was a pretty great read, and my first time reading something like that, so it was out of my comfort zone, but I loved the feeling of protection the Dom offered.

She asks:

Good morning, Maryse

I was wondering if you could help me find this book. It’s an action romance with 2 pov’s. I believe it was part of a series (ex: Camilla blake security series)

The book starts off with this guy who’s in a sex club of some sort (possible BDSM) getting a bl*w job. This women interrupts. read more

Reader Question… Solved! Where does “The Story of Son” fit into J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series?

By 2 Comments

Ahhhhh see? I’ve been asked this one a few times, and it was time to dig in. The Story of Son is one of J.R. Ward’s earlier vampire releases (it was included in the “Dead After Dark” Anthology in 2008 and has since been re-released on its own). And it seems like it could fit into our most beloved BDB series, but for a few slight discrepancies. I’ve been asked a few times if it was a part of the series and where it fits in the reading order, so I did a little research. 😉 read more
