Reader Questions

So we tried the Facebook route a few weeks ago (and I *think* it’s officially answered now) but we’re not 100% sure yet, so I’m posting it on the blog, to see what Melanie thinks. In the meantime, if you guys have any idea (or agree with Patricia’s answer) please comment below.

Reader question time (step uncle…)!! Miri wants to know…

“Hello Maryse. I was wondering if you or another reader can help me find a book I search for. I have not read it, I saw the synopsis on some blog and I can’t remember the title or the author’s name.

What I remember from the blurb is that a girl is traveling to live with her step uncle and I think at first she hate him but later fall in love with him. I am not sure but I think the cover is on the beach and a guy and a girl holds hands and she wears a bikini (I am not really sure about the cover but this is what I remember) I searched for it for a long time but I couldn’t find it. I hope that you can help me.
Thank you in advance, read more

Quite the unusual POV in this, but it sure sounds like fun! I jumped in myself, thinking it might have been a certain book, but alas I was wrong.

So, we asked the Facebook crew, and they guessed it!

Maryse’s Book Blog: Book Title question! Sofia needs our help. She asks:

“Hi Maryse.

I’m struggling to find a book that I read a couple of years ago. Does it ring any bells with you?

It was a gorgeous quirky romance featuring a children’s librarian and her cat, and part of the story was in the cat’s POV as he tried to pick her a new boyfriend. I can’t remember the title, or the author, but it was a fun read. Sound familiar? read more
