Q: Catherine: Maryse any idea when Madeline Sheehan’s next biker book is out??? I’ve stalked her fb page can’t see any info xxxx
A: Lauren: I think it’s called Undeserving & it’s Preacher’s story….at one point she said spring 2015, then summer 2015….hope it’s soon though!
A: Kim: I heard possibly before June! ARCs are out and book is in editing

A: Maryse: I just went on Madeline Sheehan’s Facebook page and she posted an answer to another reader about the next ones in the “Undeniable” series, just a few days ago saying:
“Undeserving will be out later this year, no set date as of yet. ZZ’s story won’t be out until 2016…”
P.S. Undying will be ZZ’s story. She also goes on to say to another reader:
“…I did fall sick for a bit which has held up my timeline, and I apologize for the delay…“
Q: Misty: Will you be putting out a list of your favorite 2014 books and summer reads? I love your blog and have yet to read a book that has disappointed me after reading your reviews. Thank you so much for making finding a good book to read so fun and easy. I love all of the comments and completely identify with the types of boks you like. Q: jk: just finished the 13th book The Shadows (Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 13) from JR Ward the reason I got on your blog is because of this series cried my eyes out loved it when are we getting another one?
A: Maryse: The next book that she has announced is a spin-off of the “Black Dagger Brotherhood” series that will be reminiscent of her old school BDB romance books. It’s called Blood Kiss: Black Dagger Legacy (which focuses on the new trainees and will be out December 1st 2015) but the next BDB book is called “The Beast” focusing on Rhage and Mary and should be releasing spring 2016 (no pre-order up, yet).
Q: Jane: I have favor to ask. In hot blog today you had re-post of a note from JR Ward’s Facebook page saying she may have to post “spoiler” alerts for “The Shadows “. I am not on Facebook and I am dying to know what these spoiler comments will be. Can you re-post these comments on your blog?

Q: Debbie: Love this series (Carpathians)..quite addicting..have read them all so when is the next book coming out? Can’t wait
A: Tina: July 28 a novella is coming… Dark Crime (sidetone from Maryse —> in the Edge of Darkness Anthology). Not known who hero is that the heroine is blaze the novella is called edge of darkness another book out in September called Dark Ghost (The ‘Dark’ Carpathian Book 27) about Andre.
Q: Trina: Ok… The Bronze Horseman … Heard a ton of great things about it…. I’m 20% in of a 810 page book and I am bored…. Have you read it? I’m so disappointed because I want to love this book and be consumed… There is promise there but if I read 810 pages of this I’m not sure I’ll make it…. What do you think?
Maryse’s Book Blog: Hi Trina! I LOVED It. The Bronze Horseman is epic, and as everything deteriorates around them it is devastating, but there is still an epic love story and a lot of tragedy. Must read!! (here’s my review).

Butterfly Weeds by Laura Miller <— sweet heartfelt beautiful read. Phenomenal read my friends!!!!- The Opportunist by Tarryn Fisher <— super-tumultous angst that will make you mad. SO FUN!
- Seduction and Snacks by Tara Sivec <— super-funny, and you’ll be laughing out loud.
- Sins & Needles by Karina Halle <— Not your typical second chance romance (as it is a bit of a crazy/bad guys/fun adventure-danger trilogy) but it is sort of a love triangle/second chance romance series.
- Avoiding Commitment by K.A. Linde <— super-tumultous angst that will make you mad. SO FUN!
- The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred <— sweet heartfelt beautiful read. Phenomenal read my friends!!!!
- Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven <— Sherry HIGHLY recommends this one. “He left for 3 freaking years!!” she said.
- The Traveling Man by Jane Harvey-Berrick by Jane Harvey-Berrick <— sweet, sexy romance!!
- The Five Stages of Falling in Love by Rachel Higginson <— This one is a “second chance at love in life”, again. Not necessarily the original “love” but MUST BE READ AT ALL COST!!!
- Taking Chances (Taking Chances and Forgiving Lies Book 1) by Molly McAdams <— EXTREME TEAR JERKER!!
- The Mason List by SD Hendrickson <— I don’t remember exactly if she moves away but this fits this list. AMAZING READ!! Sweet heartfelt beautiful read.
Q: Karen: Hey girls! I was wondering if Rachel Schurig´s Starstruck can be read as a standalone… Does anyone know? Thanks!
A: Maryse’s Book Blog: I shall investigate… Well… it appears it is a part of a series, and revisits past characters that have shown up in earlier books, so I would assume it should be read in order. On her website she says:
“It was so much fun to write in the Lovestruck world but to focus on different characters. I particularly loved writing about Jackson from a different perspective. Sofie gets to know him in a way that Lizzie doesn’t so it was fun to explore his character more in depth.”
In fact, the author answers a question when someone asks her where Starstruck fits in the series, and the author does not mention it as okay to be read as a standalone. In fact she says:
“There are more books in the Lovestruck series! They go in this order: Lovestruck in London, Lovestruck in Los Angeles, Lovestruck Forever, Sofie and the Movie Star (short story), Lovestruck at Christmas (novella or short novel) and the new one, Starstruck. I hope you enjoy them!”

A: Maryse’s Book Blog: Hi Rebecca! It has but for the “mobile” users only. For those accessing my blog via their mobile device (phone and possibly some tablets) you’ll notice the look of it has changed (for now, that’s the “mobile compatible” version and I’m hoping we can get it close to the usual “look” while still keeping it “mobile friendly”). On a desktop computer/laptop the look of the blog is the usual one.
I’ve been trying to find this book for awhile now, it is driving me crazy. A girl moves to a new town, next door to a brother & sister. Brother is hot, but doesn’t “do” girlfriends so he tries to discourage girl. Sister friends girl & she gets rides to school with bro/sis. Bro’s bedroom is across from girls & they can see into each other’s rooms.. Bro has pool party & girl goes to it, Bro goes to Cabana to make out with another girl and the girl gets upset, drinks and goes to Cabana with another guy but is stopped by the Bro. Eventually they get together, then girls best friend comes to visit, and the girl’s ex tags along. He catches the brother & girl making out by the pool, gets mad & leaves. He then comes back to try & rape her. Detailed storyline, but can’t remember title, names or author. The kids are all in high school. I think I read this about 3 or 4 years ago.
Maryse, please help her find that book. I want to read it. *grins*
