S.L. Scott – Hard to Resist Series Reading Order

By Leave a Comment

Rock star bad boys ALERT!! I enjoyed book #1 (my review), ’cause it had a good amount of romance angst and book #2 sounds like it’s gonna be even heartbreakier. So far, three books are out!! 😀

Flavia: Oh! Jack Dalton is the rock star!!!! The Resistance is AMAZING! And you can find everything there: angst, love, sexyness, hot rock star, strong female character, a “OMFG! Did that just happend?” twist and did I say hot rock star?

Michelle: I read The Resistance last night and LOVED it…..I hope there will be more to the story….at least another member of the band like the Lick books….I’m a walking zombie today because I stayed up all night to finish it. read more

Anne Rice – The Sleeping Beauty Series Reading Order

I remember hearing a TON about this series (started off as a trilogy) when Fifty Shades got so huge. Everyone was looking for “What to Read After Fifty Shades” and this one was recommended a bunch! And now, Anne Rice has just released a book #4!

Mandi: another suggestion for a read would be Anne Rice’s (or A. N. Roquelaure) Sleeping Beauty Trilogy……. WAY SEXY! And I read it years before 50 ever came out and I have always LOVED it! ***WARNING*** this series is SERIOUS eroticism, way more than normal BDSM books and should be read only by those with an open mind who are not easily offended LOL…… read more

Wow… this one sounds like what soooooo many of us have been looking for. Forty-something year old woman, starting over… and it’s a love triangle. Or is it a square? 😉 Let’s thank these fellow readers for pointing this one out ’cause I’m already in!

Lisa S: Ditching The Dream by Author Isabelle Peterson features the bold Elizabeth, a 40+ y/o neglected housewife who ditches her husband to be independent for the first time in NYC. She meets alpha male Jack Stevens and hot Kevin Parker. The sequel is Not In My Wildest Dreams. Loved both. read more

Lex Martin – Dearest Series Reading Order

Cheryl brought this series to my attention and it sounds AWESOME. And look at the amount of awesome reviews!?? How did I miss these?

College-aged issues that I know will freak me out & titillate me out. Like in #1, she was once stalked by her professor, then there’s a missing a student, and now she might be a target again. And then #2… he’s a total player and she knows it, and they get a little crazy but… “Jax doesn’t recognize Dani the next time he sees her, it shouldn’t be a total shock. The fact that he’s her new roommate’s brother? That’s a shock.” eek And then #3, her neighbor is a famous NFL player? YES YES I WANT TO READ ’em! read more

Okay admittedly, this is more of a “duet” than a series. 😉 But it’s complete, and sooooo many of us LOVE it!

Mindi: Bad Romeo was SOOOO good! You have to read it! Just got Broken Juliet today and can’t wait to get started!

Jean: Been wanting Bad Romeo and heard there was a cliffhanger so now that the 2nd book is out, I can move onto that series….

Deborah: I’m reading Bad Romeo….since Broken Juliet I coming out tomorrow…….it as sooooo gooood!!!!!………..I’m only at 40% and I can already tell it’s going to be a 5*……I would definitely put it in the same category as The Deal by Elle Kennedy…..it’s really fun and has a ton of lol moments:)…. read more
