Ahhhhh it feels SO good to be back!! I got a ton of reading in, all old-school with paper backs, so I can’t complain, ’cause it was pretty fun (at least that part), but I was missing my book buds, big time!

SHE’S HIS BEST FRIEND & LOVE OF HIS LIFE BUT SHE’S GRIEVING SOMEONE ELSE……Tired of playing second string to a dead man, I let her go. L.B. Dunbar: “In two days, I release a book. It’s dark (for me). It may not be for everyone, but it’s also not that dark in comparison to dark, dark books. Make any sense? Amy September 15, 2017 at 10:53 AM

It’s gonna be FUN tonight!! I have vodka, lemons, maraschino cherries, and martini glasses ready to go. :D

I just read a brief excerpt of Colleen Hoover’s Without Merit and holy punch-me-in-the-chest moly…I feel like throwing a tantrum because I want it NOW. Don’t know if it will be to the level of It Ends With Us (I don’t think *anything* could ever compare to that one) but I have a feeling this one is going to give me all the feels I’ve come to love and expect from her books. Yet another reason to love October!!!

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 10:59 AM

I stayed up til 3:30 am reading Kept and thought, no problem, I’ll skip shopping tomorrow and sleep in…but I’m out of cherries and lemons! Priorities…

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 11:08 AM

And IDK if I mentioned, but I toss all the ingredients in a shaker and pour it over 1 large ice cube. It will be cold without, so you don’t need ice, but if you think it’s too strong, regular ice will water it down a bit. And don’t be fooled my the amount. It packs a punch…
Here’s my post with a pic: https://www.facebook.com/robinreneehill/posts/312718422540230

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 11:09 AM

And here’s the ice cube trays I use. Not necessary, but great for these types of cocktails! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HVFXOZY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 12:18 PM

I’m totally picking up the yummies tonight!! :D

Jean September 15, 2017 at 12:53 PM

Hi girls! As soon as I kick my husband out the door tonight, I’m joining the party!

Ummm Redemption Island….. just that warning makes me want to read it!

Tessa September 15, 2017 at 1:47 PM

I’ll pass on the cocktails with the lemons and just have mudslide tonight. :) Dirty Little Secret looks good, but I’m hoping someone will guinea pig it first.

Amy September 15, 2017 at 2:43 PM

YAY! It’s a party!!!

Tessa…how about lemon-flavored vodka? It’s just the actual citrus juice you’re allergic to, right? Either way, mudslides will be on the menu for you tonight. ;)

Jean September 15, 2017 at 2:51 PM

Oooo, I was doing lemon drop shots last Saturday night and I’m not sure how I even got home…..LOL!

Tessa September 15, 2017 at 3:03 PM

I have no idea with lemon flavored vodka. I’ve no idea how they make the vodka flavorings. :) And yep, citrus juice, though I have a nice bottle of mudslide pre-made. :D

Tessa September 15, 2017 at 3:05 PM

Oh looked it up, and still no. They use the lemon itself to flavor the vodka. *grr*

Grey September 15, 2017 at 5:47 PM

I’m here! Yay for Friday night Blog Party! And thank you, Maryse, for letting me have my way, LOL! Let’s get this shindig started. *confetti cannon*

3 things.
1) I came in the door tonight, bra and pants came off within the first 5 minutes. I seriously didn’t even greet the rest of my family first… LOL! I’m rocking my jammies already.
2) Confession, I don’t do pumpkin flavored anything… I actually have a contact sensitivity to carving pumpkins, not sure if it’s a true allergy or not, but every time I touch the ‘goo’ inside when the kids carve their pumpkins, I break out in hives, so yeah… I steer clear of all things pumpkin just for my own safety, LOL!
3) I need to do another book buying restriction. Sigh. bev, where are you? LOL!

Pony up, girls! I’ve missed you!

Tessa September 15, 2017 at 5:52 PM

It sounds like an allergy to me. A really bad one at that!

1. I’m so tired today for no reason.
2. I have no idea what I’m going to read next. I have 3 bully books, but who knows what mood I’ll be in later.
3. Little dude is obsessed with gardeners and likes to run around and watch them.

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 6:03 PM

Got my drink woo hoo!

1. Bought a $10 rotisserie chicken for my pasta fajioli, had my husband cut it up and debone it, then remembered pasta fajioli isn’t made with chicken.
2. I’ve read 2 chapters of Emma’s new Forever Right Now and my ovaries may explode.
3. I just discovered Malibu rum only has 50 calories per shot and everything seems happier and brighter than it did before I had this information.

Jean September 15, 2017 at 6:16 PM

I’m here!

1. Just pushed my husband out the door and have the whole house to myself tonight!
2. I’m at 80% of Wings and Ruin and I’m very anxious. (I have a serious soft spot for Cassian and Lucien).
3. Watched the ending of Notting Hill before hubby left and I cried. (My husband laughed at me).

P.S. I can’t do pumpkin anything either.

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 6:18 PM

I love Notting Hill!! <3 And pumpkin!

Amy September 15, 2017 at 6:18 PM

This is the downside of being hours behind you guys! (Except for Tessa and bev, of course) Y’all are gettin’ your drink on and I can’t start for another couple of hours. Then by the time I REALLY start feeling tipsy, y’all are going to start falling asleep and I’ll be talking to myself on here.

No falling asleep early tonight!!!! ;)

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 6:19 PM

Guess what I just did??!!! I just had my first vodka sour and it was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!

Should I do another? :)

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 6:20 PM

Yeah Amy but we’ll all look like a bunch of lushes! I’m going to jump on a FB takeover soon so I may be scarce for 30 minutes.

Grey September 15, 2017 at 6:20 PM

Maryse!!! Yassss! Of course, the answer is always yes!

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 6:21 PM

Yay Maryse!! Did you make it a cherry one? I read somewhere people adding a basil leaf, but I don’t think it would work. Maybe with a strawberry vodka sour…

Jean September 15, 2017 at 6:25 PM

Yum Maryse, that sounds good!

Amy, your rant cracked me up! It’s only 7:25 here so we should be good!

Grey September 15, 2017 at 6:25 PM

I know we did FLT yesterday, but what is everyone reading right now?

After everyone was rec-ing that book yesterday, I jumped in and grabbed Begin Again by Mona Kasten. I haven’t gotten far yet, but I’m liking it so far.

Amy, I’m sorry… you’ll just have to drink fast and catch up, wink, wink!

Oooh, R, jealous!

Jean, SUPER jealous of you. I miss the Court! say hi to our friends for us! *sigh*

Tessa, what are the bully choices. *rubs hands together* You know, since you’re going to make me read them anyway… *giggle*

Tessa September 15, 2017 at 6:30 PM

Beast by A. Zavarelli, Balance by Lucia Franco, and Sinister Kisses by Adriana Noir

Now I only make you read the good ones. If any aren’t good, I’ll pretend they don’t exist.

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 6:31 PM

Oy. I just burned the heck out of my lip trying to test the pasta. I seriously think it may fall off. More drinks!

I just finished Kept today and I’m waiting on Jeannine Allison’s new ARC. Should get it tonight.

Amy September 15, 2017 at 6:34 PM

Three things:

1. LOVE pumpkin anything. Even the color.
2. Almost stopped reading my current read (which I’m fortunately enjoying) because she calls him Sparkles at times.
3. Feeling antsy lately and want to do a whole-home purge and makeover.

Amy September 15, 2017 at 6:36 PM

Y’all suck with your early drinking.

I’ll catch up soon enough though.

Jan September 15, 2017 at 6:42 PM

Ooh. A new Tracey Alvarez. I’ve enjoyed her series about hot New Zealand rugby players. Sweet, sexy and light romances, and sometimes I’m just in the mood and they hit the spot.

I’m intrigued by Warcross. It’s YA though, so I’m not sure. I might try the kindle sample first.

I haven’t read any Jodi Ellen Malpas. And Leslie loves them. Hmm. Better check those out too.

It’s still morning here and the thought of cocktails is a bit extreme right now, so I might pop in later and have one with Amy. But I can do three things.

1. My choir that I sing with is preparing for a concert of songs from the big old musicals. We’re having lots of fun practicing songs from South Pacific, Anything Goes, Oklahoma, The Desert Song (!), Fiddler On The Roof, The Pajama Game etc. etc. Rehearsal is just about the funnest thing I do every week.
2. I had a haircut yesterday and boldly told the hairdresser to ‘go short’, but when I looked in the mirror this morning, eeeek! Maybe it’s a *tad* too short???
3. My cat is recovering from a nasty cat bite (from that naughty cat next door grrrrr) and at the moment he has to wear a pretty mauve 4″ plastic collar to stop him trying to lick the wound. An insult to his cat manliness. He keeps shaking his head trying to fling it off. Poor Wolfgang (that’s his name).

Enjoy your party ladies. I’ll join you later when it’s a more reasonable hour down here. Don’t get too soused, now.

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 6:46 PM

I just got my hair cut too and I think it’s too short. Worst of all, I no longer match my bitmoji! Letting it grow back out!

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 7:00 PM

And I’ve legit burned my lip off. Grey!!! What do I do!? How long will it take to come back?

Grey September 15, 2017 at 7:04 PM

Short answer. Drink more, R. Then it won’t matter. Cold darling. Put ice on it. Luckily the mouth is very vascular, should heal relatively quickly.

Jan, your kitty is named Wolfgang, that is awesome!!!

Amy… I think, that you are feeling. *cough, cough* sick… you should go home *wink*

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 7:06 PM

Grey you get a big duh with the “drink more”!!! Ouch this hurts. I can’t imagine how bad it would hurt pre-sours…

Jean September 15, 2017 at 7:07 PM

R, did you like Kept…..and ouch.

Amy, I love fall colors, love decorating for fall and then Halloween!

Jan, poor Wolfgang! And yes, you do need to read This Man series (Jodi Ellen Malpas)! One of my favs!

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 7:08 PM

I totally made another. These are amazing!!!! On the second one, I added a touch of ginger ale to make it just slightly fizzy. :D

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 7:14 PM

I loved it! I struggled with a couple things, thus the 4 stars, but it was super hard to put down.

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 7:17 PM

Three things:

1. I’m hanging out with my book buds!
2. Sometimes I suspect I brought on this “no electricty for my house” thing with special mind-powers just so I could have nothing to do but read. Maybe it was all that Zombie apocalypse talk? ;)
3. My lawn hasn’t been mowed due to the hurricane issues, and now I’ve noticed that the front lawn part has too many weeds. It’s a little obnoxious. And I have Tru Green that comes regularly to handle those things. Go figure? *sigh*

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 7:20 PM

Where’s bev??????

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 7:22 PM

Awww Jan I want to hear you sing!!!!! :D

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 7:25 PM

R!! I noticed how awesome your one classy ice cube was. All… distinguished and stuff.

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 7:28 PM

I’m highfalutin! They’re kind of a bitch to get out of the ice tray though…

I’d never even seen super big ice cubes until we went to that Austin bar with the super hot bartender. I will say, they make all the difference. Keeps your drink cold and doesn’t water it down.

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 7:32 PM

Grey!!! PJS ME TOO!!!!! Most comfortable way to be!!!

LOL R on the chicken pasta fajioli. Darn it. Now I want to eat that.

Tessa… I want a gardner. That would be awesome.

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 7:33 PM

Heck YES a cherry one, R. Maraschino cherries are like candy. YUM!!!! So pretty and turns the drink pink. How could I not?

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 7:36 PM

Maryse, this is the recipe I used. I split it and it still made enough for a ton of people! I’ll quarter it next time, but sooo good. https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/hearty-pasta-fajioli

Pink drinks are the bomb!

Grey September 15, 2017 at 7:37 PM

I would like to combine all of these… I would like a hot gardener, who can make me drinks and chicken pasta fajioli…

bev September 15, 2017 at 7:49 PM

Did you hear that Amy?
Doesn’t matter when or where as long as you only have one giant ice cube.
Keeping it classy.

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 8:11 PM

BEV!!!!!!! YAY!!!! :D

Grey September 15, 2017 at 8:13 PM

bev, what’s the game tonight? You’re in charge of entertainment…

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 8:14 PM

I just checked out the recipe R. That is RIGHT up my alley!!!!! I bet adding chicken to it would make it that much better.

Cheryl September 15, 2017 at 8:22 PM

Hey, I have to hurry drink to catch up with everyone.

1. Bought Moscow mule mugs today, so that’s what I’m drinking.
2. After all the rec’s, I got Begin Again from NetGalley.
3. Have been re-decorating my house since February. Started with foyer and kinda snowballed from there. Just finished painting kitchen cabinets and now putting finishing touches on kitchen. Feels like will never be finished.

Grey- I WANT a hot gardener that can rock a great drink and cook for me!!!

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 8:22 PM

It was yummy Maryse, but splitting it, it still had way more veggies than meat, so I’d recommend cutting them still or adding more meat. Next time I will quarter and short change the veggies a bit.

Amy September 15, 2017 at 8:27 PM

WOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!! I’m here and READY!!!

Just need a quick shower and some food (how’s this for some fuss-free supper: http://www.themagicalslowcooker.com/slow-cooker-pesto-mozzarella-chicken-pasta/) and then IT’S ON!!!

Amy September 15, 2017 at 8:31 PM

“Doesn’t matter when or where as long as you only have one giant ice cube.”

You KNOW where my mind went with that one.

It does matter where though…certain things don’t need to get all puckered up. :P

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 8:39 PM

All right! I found some questions! #
1: What’s your favorite holiday tradition?

Grey September 15, 2017 at 8:40 PM

*settles in* I love Friday night Blog Parties!

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 8:41 PM

What was your worst “nightmare” date?

Jean September 15, 2017 at 8:42 PM

Bev! I want to play a game!

So, Wings and Ruin made me cry! I’m going to miss them all!

Amy! That’s hysterical!

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 8:43 PM

If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?

OK I’ll stop! You guys catch up!

Jean September 15, 2017 at 8:43 PM

I love cherries soaked in vodka…they ate like candy!

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 8:45 PM

That looks delicious Amy!!!

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 8:46 PM

Amy I’m gonna start calling you Joey Tribiani. ;)

Joey: there’s always room for jello
Rachel: Joey, how do you make that dirty?
Joey: oh, its easy! i can do it with anything, watch. *snaps* Grandma’s chicken salad.

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 8:48 PM

Hrmmm… I don’t think I ever had a nightmare date. Bt I’m definitely interested in the answers!!

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 8:49 PM

If I could be invisible for a day… hrmmmmm…. Oh there are SO many options!!!!!!

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 8:49 PM

Okay for me!!

If you could only eat one thing every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 8:51 PM

Mine would be spaghetti and meat sauce. LOVE.

A close second… ramen noodles (WITH cottage cheese). *blink blink* I know.

A close third… Kraft Macaroni and cheese, with lots of pepper. And if I can have an extra ingredient, some sort of meat mixed in. Ground beef is my favorite. Or chicken… always good. :)

Jean September 15, 2017 at 8:53 PM

Holiday tradition: Day trip to NYC. So beautiful that time of year.

Nightmare date: Guy passed out from drinking too much and I had to walk hone. We were young and dumb. Ended up marrying him. Lol!

And I can’t figure out what I’d do if I were invisible for a day. Travel in luxury and all that jazz? Raid locker rooms? Hang with rock/country stars? The choices are limitless!

Jean September 15, 2017 at 8:54 PM

Ela September 15, 2017 at 8:56 PM

Ela September 15, 2017 at 8:57 PM

Ewww Maryse!

Grey September 15, 2017 at 9:02 PM

bev is totally getting the side-eye! LOL!

Yay for picking up the slack, R, Ok…

Favorite holiday tradition.
~ I’d have to say, at Christmas time, we have a few. A Christmas Story is played on repeat for most of the day… Fra-gil-le… must be Italian. For all of us to watch on the back of our eyelids after the massive gluttony of food is consumed. Last year, although it was awesome to go to Disney World/Universal for Christmas/New Years, I was very sad that I wasn’t with my extended family for Christmas for this tradition.

Worst Nightmare Date?
~ I would have to say, my worst nightmare date was getting food that had been contaminated with shellfish and having my lips/throat/tongue start to swell. (Think the movie Hitch with Will Smith, but not quite to that extreme)

Invisible for a day, what would I do?
~ I would… gah, I would probably spy on my kids. No, I’d want to go like into Area 51 or someplace that you’re not supposed to be. That’d be awesome!

If I could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
~ Snack food… popcorn. No hesitation. Real food? Probably pizza, because there is so many different options. LOL!

Ela September 15, 2017 at 9:10 PM

bev September 15, 2017 at 9:14 PM

I’m enjoying “seeing” you all.
But I’m feeling a bit icky. That weird really tired kind of achy feeling. Like I will either wake up tomorrow totally fine, fought something off, or sick. Does that make sense?
Even spaghetti with meat sauce, my favorite since babyhood makes me feel slightly yucky thinking of it.

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 9:15 PM

OK I’ll try. Fave holiday tradition? Which holiday? For Christmas I think it’s getting up early and playing this song at top volume! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Dec9Jb_Ac4

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 9:17 PM

Nightmare date? SUPER hot guy with zero brain cells. Talk about disappointment!

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 9:18 PM

Food? Cheeseburgers! And not gain weight of course…

Grey September 15, 2017 at 9:27 PM

Maryse…wtaf are you eating?? *shakes head*

Ammmmy! Maryse needs another drink!

Ela, dragons do rock…. so do boats, LOL!

Speaking of, Maryse, are you going to watch Game of Thrones? you’ve got a while to catch up now!

bev, aww, I’m sorry you’re not feeling so well my friend. Yucky tummies are the worst. *passes bev my Club crackers*

R. YES! I want all of the foods and not gain weight. That is a must!

Amy September 15, 2017 at 9:45 PM

Amy September 15, 2017 at 10:07 PM

Sour grapes are SOUR

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 10:12 PM

If it makes you feel better, I totally forgot I had simple syrup cooking and nearly caught my kitchen on fire. My whole house smells like burnt sugar…which isn’t all bad…

Amy September 15, 2017 at 10:18 PM

Holiday tradition – making a scary house at Halloween!!! Made some little kids cry last year and had to take the candy out to them in the street.

Nightmare date – hot guy who was a terrible kisser. Was like kissing a sea urchin with an earthworm coming out of it.

Amy September 15, 2017 at 10:19 PM

Invisible for a day…run around naked. All day. Everywhere. FREEDOM!!!!

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 10:19 PM

OH MY!!! You guys should see her photo on Facebook of her burnt sugar. LOL!!!!!!!!!

Maryse September 15, 2017 at 10:20 PM

Amy September 15, 2017 at 10:33 PM

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 10:34 PM

R. Renee September 15, 2017 at 11:41 PM

They’re delish!

Jan September 16, 2017 at 1:42 AM

Oh Ameee. You duffer. *clicks tongue*

Worst date? Our first date, getting to know each other, everything fiinnne. Then date starts talking about my ‘good child-bearing hips’!!!!! ‘Fit for a band of big ones’ he said if I remember correctly. And hey, how could you ever forget that? EEEEEk!. I asked him what ‘big ones’ meant and he said, you know, big boys. First date. I’m 18 or so. I don’t want my hips referred to as ‘good child-bearing’ in any sense! Does that mean I’ve got a big bum? Or is he already planning our family? Eeeek. First and last date with that guy.

Leslie M September 16, 2017 at 8:06 AM

I missed the party.

*smacks self on forehead*

Leslie M September 16, 2017 at 8:22 AM

Better late than never right?

Fave holiday tradition – I put up my tree for Thanksgiving to kick start Christmas season. And…I buy these giant gingerbread men cookies from bakery that my son decorates with tons of candy & frosting. So in addition to all thanksgiving leftovers, I also have gingerbread with my coffee for a week after. Yum.

Date – Me and hubs been together since teenagers. But I remember being mad on our first date that he was dropping me off so early and barely even kissed me.

Invisible – That’s a tough one. I think I would like to see what my son is like at school. Be a fly on the wall for a day.

Cheryl September 16, 2017 at 9:34 AM

Sorry I missed all the fun. Drank my Moscow mule and then passed at on the sofa. Was a long week. :>

Fav holiday tradition: large, overly sweet infused Christmas breakfast or reading the Night Before Christmas; that my 16 and 19 year old still want us to read to them on Christmas Eve!!

Invisible: So MANY possiblities. Just would walk out the door and see what trouble I could get into. We have 3 professional sports teams nearby…

Cheryl September 16, 2017 at 9:38 AM

Bev, hope you woke up feeling perfectly fine.

Oh yeh nightmare date-not so much a nightmare but the guy rubbed me the wrong way the entire night and then when talking about college degrees- told me his (Biophysics) and then asked if I knew what that meant!! Funny thing, I eventually married him. Good thing he didn’t kiss like a sea urchin/earthworm!! :)

R. Renee September 16, 2017 at 10:05 AM

I don’t think I ever answered my invisible question. I can’t think of anything. If there’s something I’m not supposed to know, I’d rather just not know it. Having a teenager taught me that!

OMG my lip is not pretty today. Doesn’t hurt though! Dr. Grey was right! Drink more! (last night). This morning I’m Diet Coking it…

Tessa September 16, 2017 at 11:14 AM

*blinks* I was a little on the sick side last night with a minor fever and fell asleep early. Then woke up, read two pages of Sinister Kisses, realized I just wanted to keep sleeping, and went back to sleep. :( I didn’t even drink a mudslide!

Favorite Holiday Tradition: Everyone decorating the house while baking cookies with Christmas music playing in the background. Everyone is always either singing or making snarky comments on the music. lol

Worst date: I haven’t had many in the bad area. The only “bad” was actually a fun date, but the results weren’t so good. We went to the beach to play in the ocean. It was fun, but winter. Ended up with slight frost bite on my nipples. (See! That’s how I know you don’t go swimming in the Pacific without a wetsuit in the winter!)

Invisible: I’d probably want to go to places that are closed off to the public., just to see what’s there, you know? Either that, or somehow find a way to go really deep sea diving without air pressure issues and just explore with a huge light to show everything.

R. Renee September 16, 2017 at 1:15 PM

Thoughts on the soup if you make it Maryse: We halved it and it still filled my 7 qt dutch oven! I’d cook the veggies with the meat. It will give it more flavor and tenderize them (or you can do it like a mirepoix, but I’m too lazy for that). As they are they’re a little too crisp. I’ll also add a half pound of ground sausage with the beef next time. It needs more meat and that would give it an amazing flavor. And top with parm. Didn’t think of that last night!

Amy September 16, 2017 at 1:15 PM

*looks over last night’s posts*

*hides face in hands*

Amy September 16, 2017 at 1:18 PM

I posted this on GR but had to post it here as well.

Because Colleen Hoover.

So ladies, I had to share this with you. Especially those of you who love Colleen Hoover’s books. I was reading the excerpt thinking, “Awwwww, how sweet…typical swoony CH writing.” Feeling all kinds of happy and anticipatory feels.

And then…what the hell?

And then…

And then…

R. Renee September 16, 2017 at 1:23 PM

*Checks FB posts, twitter, sent folder…*

The worst is FB comments. How the heck to do you check those?

Tessa September 16, 2017 at 2:46 PM

Okay, Dirty Little Secrets is no longer on my TBR. She’s the Dom in that one, which never works for me.

So Sinister Kisses, there must be more coming. Right now he’s controlling, but he’s kind of sweet too. Sebastian Baas was on a list of total jerks, so we’ll see. Right now, I have more issues with Josh than Sebastian.

Tessa September 16, 2017 at 6:00 PM

An update for those of us who love The Fae Chronicles, the next book is supposed to be released on 9/26 but there is no pre-order for it.

Amy September 16, 2017 at 6:08 PM

Hang on…is it about Sun and Ryder? Because I thought their story was done.

Unless I’m forgetting something. It has been a while since I read the last one… :?

Amy September 16, 2017 at 6:10 PM

*SYN, not Sun

Tessa September 16, 2017 at 6:28 PM

Nope, they had at least one more books. From the start she said it was going to be five books. :) IThe last one just didn’t end on a CH like they usually do. It kind of ended in a HFN.

Jan September 16, 2017 at 6:31 PM

Cheryl I might just go walking with you in that invisibility cloak. And we might *casually* pop in visit to those three professional sports teams……. ;) Hehe.

Grey September 16, 2017 at 7:46 PM

Maybe we can get a little Easter Egg about Playing with Monsters… I miss that one!

Reading Begin Again. I napped this afternoon, so now I don’t know if I’ll be able to sleep tonight.

Tessa September 16, 2017 at 7:49 PM

Grey, she’s writing Sleeping with Monsters as we speak! :)

Grey September 16, 2017 at 8:00 PM

Squee!!!! *glitter cannon* I know, I can’t throw glitter because Lucien will get mad, but… come on! I’m excited!!!

Tessa September 16, 2017 at 8:51 PM

LOL Right now, I’m not too into this book. Sebastian seems more like he’ll be an abusive boyfriend than a jerk. :/ But, I’m still giving it a go.

Tessa September 16, 2017 at 11:30 PM

DNF’d Sinister Kisses by Adriana Noir. I was struggling with one thing, but then something unrelated happened and it was just pure HELL NO. lol

So, after that… I need happy. Hopefully a good soccer story will work.

Kooloo September 16, 2017 at 11:42 PM
