Okay that one there to the left? Pure Abandon by Jeannine Colette has been on my TBR list since it was released, and my own fellow readers here have been LOVING it, so I’m in. I’m 25% in, in fact and have been thoroughly “into it” from the very first page. Yep. YES!! This one is FOR ME!!! 😀 Heartache and angst, here I come!!! 😀

OK finished Some Sort of Crazy (perfect sweet book) and thinking I have to finally pull up my big girl knickers and read Badger. I’m scared its going to hurt. Is it a stand alone?? Anarchy Found just got dark (I think). I wasn’t expecting it and I still have shivers. I hope it doesn’t go down that dark hole.
Fabi, carbs are restricted but spread throughout the day, and the meal plans are VERY specific, down to the number of asparagus spears I can have. It was made up by my trainer for me, and considering my trainer competes in MMA and has to cut weight quite often, I figured it should work. It’s heavy in protein, has a fairly decent amount of veggies, very little fruit (only blueberries in the morning), no sugar, no alcohol, and only water or green tea to drink. It sucks but seems to be working already.
Yay me. *gives weak clap*

I’m at 65% and if the scene I just finished doesn’t tie in logically with the story, if it was just thrown in for the … I don’t know for what…then I’m going to be disappointed with this book/author. It started out fantastic, so I still have my fingers crossed that the last part of the book will make up for this middle part.

I read Blindsided by TC Matson 2 weeks ago and I still am missing me some Levi! I need book 2 ASAP. I’m totally fangirling over this book. I even got to talk to TC! I’ve never had an author message me back.
I may be a little slow but I found Bad Things by RK Lilley and read the whole series in a week. Tristan…Oh yes! A love story wrapped into a heartbreak. I cried. I laughed. I gasped. It’s been out for a little bit, but YES!

Just finished Sins of Sevin and feeling disappointed. Ive enjoyed past books by this author….Jake Undone, Gemini. But the writing in this book was ordinary. In both H/h POVs the simplicity of the writing made them both seem a bit touched in the head! Zero chemistry and what a bleak story. Didn’t love the way religion was depicted in this book either.
Need something to cheer me up now so I’m shelving Badger and heading to PNR for total fantasy escape. Over and out.
OMG finished Sweet Ruin last night AND Loved it! It felt a tad different from the other couples in IAD series as these appear to be on the side against the Vartas or Nix army…….hmmmmmm! I did love these books as much as Fifty Shades of Grey, maybe more so in a way because Colton Donovan’s character was more complex and broken. He was a such a hot mess, even more so than Christian Grey. Colton was more expressive when it came to his emotions. Couple that with a strong heroine and it’s book heaven for me! Plus (and correct me if I’m wrong), the series was told from her perspective (Colton may have been added in book three), which I LOVE! It adds so much more to the angst! It’s like a frustrating puzzle trying to figure a damaged man out. My book hangover was worse with this series than with Fifty. I may have to do a re-read soon… 😉
