  • The Monster Keeps Me Safe by Kitty Thomas <— LIVE!!! SHE DIDN’T REALIZE SHE WAS A CAPTIVE!! Re-release (under a different title)… “...I didn’t know I was a captive. How could I? I didn’t have my memory. He could have told me anything about the world, and he did. And I believed him. Until the day a mysterious stranger showed up, killed the man I’d believed was my husband, and decided to take me with him. I don’t know what he plans to do with me, but it can’t be anything good. But at least the world still exists...”

Shelley: I love Kitty’s dark reads and Comfort Food was my first and I too instantly became hooked!

Rosario: I’m a huge fan of Kitty Thomas books I have read everyone so far.

  • Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn  <— RECENT RELEASE & WE HAVE FEEDBACK!! TASHA J LOVED IT!!

Tasha J: I finished Georgie, All Along. I give 4.5⭐️, rounded up to 5. I thought Georgie was relatable, the characters realistic, and I loved them together.

Tasha J: I bought On the Savage Side by Tiffany McDaniel using my digital credits for not being in a rush to get my packages. The setting is in OH, which is fun. And, the story itself sounds really good. I hope to start it soon.

Lynn: After coming off the high of reading Maestro and then Before Us I was struggling to find that high again. Thankfully I found it after reading One Day With You by Shari Low. It was a very emotional story which brought tears of sorrow as well as tears from the hilarious banter between some lovable characters.

Rochelle: Just finished Jojo’s someone else’s shoes. Not a romance but fantastic.

Aimee: I’m fixing to jump on the Maestro band wagon! I have been on such a good roll!!!

Aimee: I finally finished Maestro!!! And just like everyone else it was awesome!!!it was definitely a throw your kindle type of book!! 5** ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

 

Mony: I really liked this book, particularly the fantastic quirky lines by Willa, the 25-yr-old nanny to 38-yr-old Cade’s heart-stealing son Luke. Cade’s hot and grumpy, Willa shines, bursting with energy. Wish there were more FMCs like her.

Nancy: All four books are continuation of the story and not standalone. Once I finished the 1st book, I had to go on till I read all the books. All 4 books,

I just spent most of this day reading Maestro because so many on here loved it, but I’ve decided it was not worth it to me. So much heartbreak that could have been avoided with a couple honest conversations. The last full 3rd of the book–and a really bittersweet thing even in the very end– could have been avoided SPOILER ALERT: with a simple paternity test. An 8 pound baby comes 2 months early with a women you have no memory of having sex with…and no one in this successful man’s life–not a manager, not his grandparent… nobody questions this? This was just a bridge too far. (Not to mention a little trick dream scene that had me literally giving my kindle a one finger salute). This book was incredibly well written and researched, but I feel like a bit of a masochist having put myself through it. I definitely need some kind of light rom-com type palate cleanser after this. You REALLY need to appreciate an inordinate amount of angst to love this book. It was an amazing book that I just kind of hated-weird combo of emotions.
