P.S. I’ve just finished “Mothered” by by Zoje Stage (psych-thriller with an unreliable narrator but it was entertaining! She wrote one I enjoyed called Baby Teeth, so I knew I had to read this one). My review will be coming up next. P.P.S. Here’s my review of “Baby Teeth” in case you missed it.
What are you reading or watching now, and what do you think about it?

SHE’S GOING ON HER SON’S HONEYMOON (SINCE HE CALLED OFF THE WEDDING) & THEN THE FATHER OF THE BRIDE SHOWS UP! “…Over a week of sunshine and me-time was on the docket until he arrived. Dallas Cole had silver in his beard, eyes the color of an ocean, and the most annoying drawl. And by annoying, I mean, thigh-clenching, heart-hammering, make me want to kiss him swagger. Only, that’s something I would never do, because he’s the single father of the bride for the wedding that never was, and now, he’s encroaching on my parentmoon. One house. One bed. Not happening...”

- The Rules of Dating by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland <— AIMEE 5-STAR LOVED THIS ONE!!
Aimee: So I just finished this book, The Rules of Dating and it was definitely 5* !!! I have to say that Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland outdid themselves on this one! It had all the feels, about a single dad and a girl who had terrible taste in men. I’m now interested in the next in the series!!!
Aimee: The second book was good also!!! The Rules of Dating My Best Friend’s Sister
He’s a player and she’s engaged to someone else…😳 so it had its share of anxiety! It was a 4* romance!

Maryse: Right off the bat, one like that is “Thoughtless” by SC Stephens. One of the best, most angsty books like that EVER. Her boyfriend has a white collar job, good guy, and loves her, and his roommate is a rock star… and they spend way too much time together while her boyfriend is at work late. Eeeeep! SO SO SOOOOO GOOD!

Janie: I have a recommendation if you just want something lighthearted and fun, definitely not deep or thought provoking, but sometimes that’s just what we need. It’s called The Siren Island series by Tricia O’Malley.

Elizabeth: If you haven’t read Rebecca Kinkade yet, you’re missing out. She writes ultra intelligent, sexy, super hot enemies to lovers billionaire office romances. Her FMCs are always educated and independent, which is so refreshing.
This is the newest standalone in the series and I just finished. They just get better and better! …Kinkade is one of my very favorite authors. I’m a huge fan. I hope everyone else agrees.
- The It Girl by Ruth Ware <— TASHA J 4.5 STARRED THIS ONE!!

Now, I’m trying to choose what to read next. I’m thinking a thriller. And, will start watching The Last Thing He Told Me tonight on Apple. I really liked that book and love Jen Garner.
JR: I also really liked The Last Thing He Told Me. It’s more a mystery than a romance but was a page turner that kept me guessing.

I love Jen Garner too!!!! I don’t have Apple for now, but I’m thinking I need to get it. A few here have mentioned some amazing shows on there. *sigh* Decisions, decisions…
I literally only have it for Ted Lasso. 😂 You could just do a trial and cancel afterwards.

This book is my big hit of the week! Holy moly everyone loves this author here (for her past series) and now this one is getting so much love!! YAY!!! Thank you Lynn. 😀
Maryse. Season 9, mama squirrel grieving her baby. 😭😭😭
Ugh I HATED THAT. I know she’s supposed to survive, but I would have let that baby go. I’m sorry but that’s not enough meat to choose over the squirrel family.
I don’t think I’m ruthless enough for this show. Also… I probably suck at all the other survival things too. LOL!! 😂 I watch their cabin building and their fireplace building like I’m studying for an upcoming test… and I still can’t quite figure it out.
I’m still watching season 9 too. I’m halfway through.
My husband and I are yelling at the TV constantly! Like, take those wet clothes off! Get by the fire! Stop walking around and fish! Yesterday I told him it’s amazing how much smarter we are from the couch. 😆
Hahaha!!
And fish seems to be the TRUE healthiest thing they can eat ’cause the fish is soooooo fatty but the good oils. I’m always amazed and the fatty gel that their fish-head stew makes.
And the ice fishing… but boy can they starve. EAT IT!! EAT ALL YOUR FOOD!! LOL!
I’m finished all the seasons now. I think they have special edition “Alones” so I’m gonna investigate the others. Like “Alone Alaska” or something like that?
