Melinda: winter rose is soo good. I loved it. It’s a long book though. 700 pages of paper version. There’s also the tea rose by the same author that’s the first book. Then I think it’s the wild rose. Jennifer Donnelly is the author.

I gave it to my sister inlaw to read and she could stop raving how good it was.

Danette: Can’t recommend Lock & Key and Random and Rare enough. Truly two of my most favorite books EVER. Dig may be my most favorite Book Boyfriend of all time. Dare I say, I may love him even more than Travis (??). The epilogue in R & R is nothing short of poetry. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Lisa: Danette! I know what you mean….I adored Dig. In Lock & Key he came across cocky and full of bravado but being in his head in thw second book just broke my heart!! Head over heels in love with him. I could barely read the epilogue for the welling tears.

Lisa: Maryse and co…i just read Lock and Key and the followup Random and Rare by Cat Porter.
I know theyre oldies and perhaps everyone else has already read them BUT if you haven’t PLEASE PLEASE read these books.

I am wrecked, wrung out and emotionally drained. Dig’s story (*spoiler*) in Random and Rare has ruined me. Eleventy billion stars for me and some of the best biker books Ive read… Dig will break your heart even more than Havoc (Susan Fanetti).

*shuddery sigh*

Lisa: I think Lock and Key’s second story was the gut puncher for me….Random and Rare. I will NEVER forget that book! It did a number on me. Like… I would find myself tearing up at traffic lights when my mind wandered back to that book…or, inconveniently, while supermarket shopping!! Lets blame it on silly mid life hormones but ‘it ruined me’ is an understatement.

• Camera Shy by Kay Cove <— LIVE!! HER BOYFRIEND DUMPS HER BECAUSE OF THEIR BLAND SEX LIFE! “…When an opportunity arises to spend my summer in Las Vegas, I stumble upon my hot new neighbor and his photography studio. Nancy: I read this week OUTLAW’S PROMISE by Helena Newbury and you can read it free with Prime.
OUTLAW’S PROMISE by Helena Newbury is an action-packed MC book. It’s a bit darker than the other books I have read by this author. But then most MC books are darker. Their clubs are not the Boy Scouts. There is not a dull moment throughout the book.

• In Honor by Jessi Kirby <— BEV LOVES A GOOD ROAD TRIP BOOK!

bev: Got a bit distracted by a different book this morn. Forgot I downloaded it until I went to look at my phone this morn. Been reading it since.

It’s YA, I guess though they are both out of high school. Honor ‘ s brother was a marine who died in combat. The story starts at his funeral. He sent her a letter that she gets after he dies. It had two tickets to a concert for her to go to & a road trip in his classic impala before heading to college.

His ex best friend, Rusty, invites himself on the road trip. He is sort of the Texas good ol’boy/bad boy, lol. Think i read that he was based off of Riggins from Friday Night Lights. It’s only her pov and really good so far.

Just under 200 pages so will probably finish today. Love a road trip book. In Honor by Jessi Kirby.
