HAPPY FRIDAY & HAPPY WEEKEND!!! I’m still building our mega-list of Friday Finds, but it’s already beautifully started. What do you have planned this weekend? I’d say a nice loooooong walk on the beach but it’s been so incredibly hot this past few weeks, I’m not sure if I’m up to that. I WILL be lounging and reading.

<— In fact, I’m currently reading this one (A Twisted Love Story – a new release that I missed last month and that I saw on my Facebook feed, that’s right up my alley!). I one-clicked it, price be damned once I read that blurb! It has that Tarryn Fisher character feel, and I’m into it!! 😉 It’s from both POVs, both characters are hard to love, but especially her (yet sometimes I recognize myself, anxious-attachment wise when she starts internally flipping out about her relationship). Tee hee!! 😉 That was old “young” me.

Linda: Maryse The Luna Duet by Pepper Winters was absolutely amazing!! Waited until both were out and was my beach read last week. Devoured them!!!

Author cautions readers about subject matter. All the *****************!!!!!

Kimberly: One Day by Dave Nicholls on an airplane no less!? A flight attendant brought me some tissues and wrote down the name of the book for her and her colleagues

It was one line in the book that just stabbed me in the heart . They ended up doing a movie but it just didn’t do the book justice

Harper: On the Island by Tracey Garvis-Graves (FAVORITE) …I love plane crash survival stories. On the Island and Girl Underwater were perfect! Anyone knows any other books like that?

Teresa: My favorite age gap book is one I am reading now, “On the Island”.

Ashley: …did a reread of On The Island by Tracey Garvis Graves. I thought ‘it’s summer, I should probably reread it.’ But then I thought it could be winter and I’d still want to reread it.

Patricia: My favorite forbidden love story is “On the Island” by Tracy Garvis Graves. The love story between TJ and Anna stuck to me for a very long time.

  • The Outlaw Chess Series: An MC and Mafia Crossover Universe (6 book series) by Harley Diamond <— AIMEE LOVED IT!

Aimee:  I started a MC romance series that has to be read in order. The Outlaw Chess Series by: Harley Diamond.

It has a unique style where each chapter is a character, from the same series, has a point of view even though it’s about one character for each book! That’s the whole reason you have to read them in order…. Ace is the first one and some parts were a little long but it leads you into the rest of the other books. 6 book series!

Randi: Just finished Bite The Woman That Feeds by Penelope Barsetti from the Aug 1st Book Release List.

Different take on vampires and it was really good. Lots of angst, love-hate & turmoil. It has a cliffhanger, but the next book is due out September 1st with the last book to come out October 1st. So not too long of a wait.
