Friday Finds & Reader Recommendations – 09-15-2023

HAPPY FRIDAY FINDS!!! Guess what? We have a ton of new releases over the last 48 hours, and I’m pretty thrilled! In fact, one of them is by K. Bromberg (her new Formula 1 racers!!!) and one from Elizabeth O’Roark (our fellow readers are LOVING this author like crazy!!!)

Okay so let’s get this list going, but first…

My “favorite thing this week (so far)” is…

THIS DUVET INSERT!!!!! I have the cutest duvet cover and was looking for an insert that had some oomph. Something that looks fluffy and would give my bed that “designer” fluffy bed look. You know… how big it looks in the picture, and then you get this flat as a pancake thing. Ugh. I’ve been through that wayyyyyy too many times in the last few years, and ended up putting two comforters in my duvet cover (as suggested by the designers and “stagers” online). But with that, comes too much heat, and not enough fluff, since two flat pancakes makes for a less flat look, but not puffy the way I want.

And then… after research on Google, I saw this brand on a few “best of” lists. I got the grey and white striped one (it has the little corner loops to tie it into my duvet cover), since all the true customer pictures of their cover, this grey and white striped one looked the fluffiest, and consistently the fluffiest. What you see in the picture IS what you get. So I got one (oversized King – also as suggested by the stagers), and sure enough, my indulgent bed “fluffiness” is to my liking. I love it!!!!! Annnnnd… if I wanted to go crazy, I could insert a second one (and my bed would look insanely puffy – which would also be to my liking), but… that would be overkill, to try and sleep with. This one is already super indulgent, and cozy, and I think two would be annoying.
