And so did my aunt, and my sister… The Wife Between Us: A Novel kept me guessing to the very end, and I loved what it all meant. P.S. Here’s my review (4.5 STARS!!)
OH MY!!! Less than 2 weeks until Christmas Day and I and excited. I have 4 events to attend (starting tonight!!!) along with my sister showing up anytime between a couple of days before Christmas to a couple of days after, and spending a few weeks with me again! YAY ME!!!!
And… I have my Christmas tree pics!! I took these last night. Here’s one (and the whole tree is at the very end of this post). The bow makes me smile. 🙂

Swath: I dont think I would have picked this book if not for this review so thank you for that. This is probably one of the best racing to finish portions of a book. I was not sure whom to choose but somehow the end made a lot of sense to me as I felt it was right at that time. Yes things happen, people change. Mostly we keep it and dont act on it but when expected happens I guess you no longer can control. with that said, definitely one of the best books of 2018 for the sheer emotional content involved !
Tara: Definitely 5+ stars! Hands down my favorite book of 2018! Loved it…Drive is a close 2nd 🙂Ashley: Just finished it this morning and just WOW! Total book hangover happening over here! Hey, everyone! I just wanted to let y’all know that Rick got the job he wanted! He’s so excited that he keeps dancing around the house. As always, thank you all SO much for your thoughts and prayers.
I’m still just lying here, not really comfortable enough to read or stay online for too long. But surgery is Monday, and hopefully, after I get home on Wednesday(ish), things will be much better!

Grey, I love “pick for me” and “tbr monthly themes”. I especially like when theme is broad or w/options. Because if theme was just PNR, I wouldn’t have any. The faves one is not my fave, *giggle* but I will participate if we continue with it.
What if we did a year long challenge?? I’ve done ones where you pick books according to certain letters. For example, we could use “Maryse’s Book Blog”. The challenge would be to choose a book with title or author first/last name starts with M, A, R, Y, S, E and so on. Just a thought…
Looking for a last minute Xmas gift this morning and literally can’t stand the effort it takes to think of the right gift. I’m all shopped out this season (and about to go out in the real world and finish up some stocking stuffers and what not). Anywho, I’m thinking an air fryer. I have no idea if this will be something they’ll use or not, but I like it and I’m tired. Maryse, can you post the one you use again? I think it’s similar to mine (a philips) and I know u use yours a ton so I think it’ll hold up well.
Also, in my search, I found something I think I want. It’s a portable mini photo printer. Does anyone have one of these??? I’ve never looked into them before, but I think it’s the PERFECT practical gift for myself. Bc I don’t like finding time to go to a place like Rite Aid and sit forever sifting through my thousands of photos. Or Shutterfly, takes too much effort and my computer plain makes me mad. And I got scrapbooking stuff for my daughter we could do together. Win- win. So, I dk which one is the best to get. Any help would be much appreciated! 😉
