YAY IT’S FRIDAY and we’ve found 21 books for the weekend! A few that just went live and a bunch of tried-and-true reader recommendations (and I mean books we LOVE!!) and awesome bargains. Keep checking back ’cause I’ll be adding more as the day goes on.
TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT WE FOUND FOR THE WEEKEND !!
Kinda Don’t Care (The Simple Man Series Book 1) by Lani Lynn Vale <— LANI LYNN VALE’S LATEST IS LIVE!!! OH MY THIS ONE SOUNDS INTENSE!!! He’s so in love with her but… “...The moment he sees her walking down the aisle towards him, he knows that she’s the one. Then she passes him, making her way to the man she’s to marry. A man that wasn’t him…“
- You Complicate Me by Isabel Jordan <— LIVE!!! WHOOPS!! She threw up on him. 😉 “Grace Montgomery has a very simple plan. Fly to her younger brother’s wedding, stop the wedding, go home, make partner at her law firm. Almost getting arrested by air marshal Nick O’Connor? Not part of the plan. Neither was puking on him. (Don’t ask) Finding out he’s her soon-to-be brother-in-law…also a minor setback to her plan. And don’t even get her started on her untimely attraction to the tall, dark, and dead-sexy jerk…”
HAVOC by Debra Anastasia <— DEBRA ANASTASIA’S LATEST IS LIVE!!! OHHHHH he sounds like a dangerous bad-ass!!! “...I’ve fought for what I have. I see you coming, before you even know you want a piece of me. In a city riddled with warring families, I’ll rise up between them. My people, the broken souls I gather will have power by the time I’m done with them. I protect mine. Him. My brother, Nix. Her. The girl that is the only home I’ve ever had. She knows me. I’m coming at you, Sweetness. Stay ready.”
Hydraulic Level 5 (The Hydraulic Series Book 1) by Sarah Latchaw <— OLDIE BUT GOODIE!!!! R IS LOVING IT & now there may be a buddy-read going on!
R: Hydraulic Level 5 by Sarah Latchaw. This book is flipping awesome. The cover and title are terrible as far as romance is concerned. I NEVER would have picked it up because it sounds sci-fi or adventure-y, but one of my FB peeps was adamant to the point of threatening to buy it for me. It’s about childhood best friends who fall in love, get married, and then he leaves her when she’s only 21 to find himself/pursue his dreams etc (not clear on that yet). The book picks up where he’s coming back to town for his sister’s wedding (the h’s bff) and he’s now a famous author, *and* he’s bringing his editor/gf with him. Oh the angst! It’s one big heartache wrapped in really clever humor.
Cheryl: R. I read Hydraulic Level 5 when it was a fanfic. Loved it then and agree that the title is terrible.
Bleeding Stars by A.L. Jackson <— ROCK STAR ALERT!!! COURTNEY LOVED this series!
Courtney: I love your site and come here often for book suggestions. My favorite series I’ve read in the last year or so is definitely The Bleeding Stars Series!!! These are amazing. I’m not sure if you have read them or not !!? It had so many shocking moments , romance , angst , rock stars !!! Everything. !!!!! If you haven’t read these you must read them!!!! First one is “A stone in the Sea “ by A.L. Jackson
- Endorsed by Marni Mann <— MARNI MANN’S LATEST IS LIVE!! SHE’S HIS CLIENT’S SISTER... and she has a secret. “…We can’t finish what we started until I make my confession. I have a secret—one that wasn’t mine to keep. Before he can love me, he’ll have to find some way to forgive me…”
- Staying in Vegas: (Vegas Morellis, #1) by Sam Mariano <— Kayla found us this one!! “My favorite new release was Sam Mariano’s Staying in Vegas that just released today”
What He Doesn’t Know Duet by Kandi Steiner <— BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!! BOTH BOOKS in this newly released LOVE TRIANGLE duet are bargain priced right now!!!
Nay: I’m loving the What He Doesn’t Know duet, even though it’s making feel like I want to punch someone (if I don’t get whiplash first)! I’m halfway through the second book
Heather: They were sooo good!
Cicely: Read this duet!!!! IT WAS SO GOOD!!!
The Boy and His Ribbon (Ribbon Duet Book 1) by Pepper Winters <— TOP OF MY TBR LIST & NOW I’M HEARING IT’S FORBIDDEN!!! 😀
Sky: It’s one of the best book and ultimate read of 2018 so far. It was a utterly shocking yet Pleasant Surprise. I LOVED REN Wild and His DELLA RIBBON. The book gave a whole new dimension to the word “FORBIDDEN”. You must read it!!
- A is for Alpha Male by Laurel Curtis <— KRISTEN-ASHLEY FEEL & IT’S ANOTHER OLDIE BUT GOODIE!!!
Diana: I can’t stop smiling (and more often than not, laughing out loud). “A is for Alpha Male” by Laurel Curtis is so funny. I LOVE Haley and Alison as a dynamic duo. Their relationship gives me something to aim for with my own daughter.I downloaded “A is for Alpha Male” because I was looking for a light funny read after “Ruthless (Dark MC Romance)” by Vanessa Waltz. Wow, dark doesn’t quite do it justice. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Ok, back to “A is for Alpha Male”…I’m only 25% through the book and I already miss Danny and \ Haley’s story…and it hasn’t even really started yet! A great homage to Kristen Ashley. I expect this will be one of my favs.

- Drive by Kate Stewart <— HOLY MOLY SUPER-BARGAIN ALERT!!! MY BEST OF 2017 & it’s super-bargain priced!! Super angsty-romance that will infuriate and delight you!! 😉 And here’s my review (I gave it 5-STARS PLUS!)
Jen C: MARYSE DRIVE BY KATE STEWART IS ON SUPER AMAZING Bargain Price SALE! WHAT!!?? !!!
Teri: Just finished “Drive” oh my… I need a hug. I need a martini. I feel like I was hit by a Mack truck and now what am I going to read… Holy Me Oh My Oh, what a great, great, great, great, great (that’s 5-greats) book. When I first saw it popping up on this blog I thought ‘maybe’ but the gushing just never ended and I’m SO happy I jumped in on the “Drive” train. Thanks everyone for all great suggestions & gushes.Off to find my Martini. Just a little dirty.
- Sever (Closer Book 2) by Mary Elizabeth <— THE LATEST BY MARY ELIZABETH IS LIVE!! It’s NOT a standalone…
- Lock & Key by Cat Porter <— OLDIE-BUT-GOODIE BIKER BOOK! Nay is into it!
Nay: I finally read Lock and Key, the biker book by Cat Porter that’s been on my tbr for years, and I loved it! Lots of yummy, sexy biker brooding and grit without being over the top. And now I’m moving on to the next one.
Limits by Susie Tate <— SHE’S SEVERELY RECLUSIVE… “…When she watches him she wishes she could be normal; she wishes she could be like the people he interacts with so seamlessly. Pavlos Martakis is her complete and total opposite: physically intimidating, likable, naturally attractive, extremely confident, sexually promiscuous: the most uninhibited, charming, outgoing and free person she has ever encountered in her life. He fascinates Millie; thrills and intimidates her in equal measure…” And Fiona LOVED it!
Fiona: I was waiting on it for a few months to come out & it was released with us in the UK yesterday. Yes I read quickly!!Its about a radiologist in a UK hospital & the relationships she has with her co-workers & with one senior doctor in particular Pav who begins to see a different side to her & starts to pursue her.
Its funny, sad, heartbreaking to think of for what Millie has gone through & very thought provoking and a great read.
This is the second book in this series but the characters in it are all in the previous book “Beg, Borrow or Steal” so its great to see them all back & see the relationship develop here with Millie & Pav. You will laugh at the the little girl Rosie & her collection of insects that she collects as a hobby!!
There is a lot of medical jargon in this ebook but I must say that the author who I believe is a doctor herself does not make it too high brow & again puts a funny slant to it.I find it funny myself coming from a medical background myself and can relate to the different scenarios.
There is an oveall arch to the book about how anxiety & social isolation can impact on a person especially with the upbringing that the heroine Millie had. Everyone sees her as an odd ball in her work but if you peel back the layers & get to know her you will see her as Pav does & realises that there is so much more to her and that she is worth so much more then what she thinks of herself…
Cant wait to read the next book out from this author….absolutely fab!
- Chosen For Me by Fiona Tulle <— SINGLE MAN WANTS TO ADOPT & SHE’S AN ADVOCATE FOR A LOCAL ADOPTION ORGANIZATION… “…When Debbie walks into Garrett’s shop, looking for sponsors for her fundraiser, it appears fate is on his side, and he’ll finally become the parent he’d always wanted to be. But when disaster threatens to strike, Garrett may get more than he bargained for…”
Hopelessly Devoted: (Sacred Sinners MC – Texas Chapter #3) by Bink Cummings <— BIKER TRILOGY & IT IS NOW COMPLETE!! Book #3 just went LIVE! P.S. These CAN NOT be read as standalones.
LisaKay: I wanted to let you know Bink Cummings new book came out in the Texas MC series “Hopelessly Devoted”. Great author, that has a KA feel she is one of those that I automatically one click on her books!
- Runaway Train: The Complete Series by Katie Ashley <— KATIE ASHLEY SERIES BUNDLE ALERT!!! ROCK STARS!!
Dina: OMG !OMG! OMG! Maryse you have to read Music of the Heart next!!! It is by far the BEST book I have read in a long time!
Jean: Love these books!!
Thrilling Ethan by Anna Paige <— FAMOUS ROCK STAR & ARTIST & NOBODY KNOWS IT’S HIM until… “…Leading a double life when you’re famous is nearly impossible. Luckily, I’m always up for a challenge. For years, I’d balanced both worlds. More than that, I was killing it. A successful music career, Drummer for the most popular rock band in the world, And I’d amassed a huge following as a painter— Even if no one knew it was me. I had it all. Or I thought I did. Then I went toe-to-toe with my alter-ego’s biggest fan…”
- Chief: Rebel Guardians MC by Liberty Parker & Darlene Tallman <— LIVE!! BIKER BOOK ALERT! “…She’s noticed the good-looking officer, but her professional ethics keep her at a distance, which is a shame because she’s a beautiful, caring woman who longs to have someone to love. With Trinity making monthly visits to Hatch’s house, she sees Chief frequently and laments the fact that she can’t cross the line. Everything is going well, until she gets the Cunningham case...”
AUDIOBOOK LVERS

This thing is so cool (Amazon calls it “Matchmaker“)! It’s an Amazon feature, that scans all of your Kindle books and will list all of the ones you have that are also available as an audiobook at a discounted price (not normal audiobook prices). 2 times in a row??? *Friday glitter!!!* Morning all! Happy weekend eve!
*twirling happily and kicking up glitter* Good morning! I do not know what it is about the man on the cover of Kinda Don’t Care…but I am mesmerized, enchanted, and I can’t stop looking at him!!!
*twirls with Grey & Lisa in the Friday glitter*
I love the sound of You Complicate Me. A meet-puke instead of meet-cute! Hee hee
The cover AND blurb of Kinda Don’t Care is very enchanting.
*fingers twitching to click*
Kinda Don’t Care what the book is about I just want to lick the cover 😉
LOL Kooloo!!!!!!
It sounds so good, and I admit the cover is… intriguing 😉
Good morning! Going to start Transcend today!!
3 things?
1. Instead of coffee I have been craving a soda. Not really a better option.
2. Two new (to me songs) I’ve hit repeat on: A Song For You by Leon Russell and All The Time by Bahamas.
3. Obsessed with My Ahjussi and having fun with Tempted a take on Les Liaisons dangereuses/Cruel Intentions.
Happy Friday!!!!
Several on the list that interest me and a plus for those that are KU. You Complicate Me, Endorsed, Limits and the first book in that series- Beg, Borrow or Steal- (always like a medical based story if it is done well), and Thrilling Ethan. Maybe I’ll even start Transcend since book 2 releases in a few days.
Now off to hair salon…
Happy Friday everyone!!! 😀
Cut it all off , Cheryl.
Bev, I’m going, to be honest. I liked Cruel Intentions far more than Les Liason Dangereuse. The modern translation was so well done but kept the basic story perfectly, as well as the darkness. Honestly, to me, it was darker, which is probably why I loved it.
Happy Friday! Looking at when Grey posted… I was sleeping. lol There’s no way I’ll be first with that time. 🙂
3 things:
1. Next weekend is my niece’s wedding! YEAH!
2. Friday is the bachelorette! Also yeah! And it’s tailored to her, which means it’s basically tailored to me. 😛 We have a lot in common. I’m a good influence.
3. My Guild Wars 2 game has a special event going on that I can’t play. 🙁 It’s a throwback to the old Nintendo games style, and it makes me sick every time I play it. It’s called simulator sickness and it’s why I can’t play anything first person or a lot of shaking. Yet, boats and actual motion sickness are not an issue for me. *shrugs*
1. I was up half the night with Hydraulic Level 5. The angst may kill me.
2. I was planning a hardcore day of writing but I don’t see that happening now because…
3. EPOCH IS LIVE ON IBOOKS AND B&N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Three things:
1.) R. is freaking me out with the Hydraulic book… I wanna read it now.
2.) I’m taking my dogs for a walk in a couple of hours. They will be so excited.
3.) I can’t wait to get back to my psych-thriller stalker book!!
I love the note of Kinda Don’t Care. “Author note: I, Lani Lynn Vale, solemnly swear that there is NO CHEATING in this book…but looks are deceiving. So hang with me.”
Julie Johnson has a new book out called Faded. It is book one of two. It is free on KU. Looks really good and I love her books!!
I AM SO TICKLED THAT YOU MENTIONED HL5! I’ve been trying to get everyone I know to read this for YEARS! Don’t forget to move on to Skygods when you’re done with HL5! It’s so much better!
Three Things:
1. I’m reading The Boy and His Ribbon. I’m only about 10% in and just WOW! I can’t believe half the stuff that’s happened already. What’s the rest of the book going to do to me?! I’m digging in to find out.
2. That Hydraulic book sounded angsty and had me at childhood best friends. One clicked!
3. I really need to finish sewing my project and not thinking about reading that boy with his ribbon!
I read The Boy and his Ribbon on Wednesday. Can’t wait for the sequel!! Even knowing how it was going to end from the halfway mark, it was like a train wreck – I couldn’t stop reading & loving it. Ren is the best. Della was both frustrating & understandable. Gah! The waiting!
In other good news, on Tuesday I read Abbi Glines’ new book & for the first time in years I wasn’t disappointed! Her books have been reeeeeeallly letting me down, but this was creative & had depth. Did anyone else read it?
I need to pick something to read this weekend. I’m kinda feeling a steamy college romance, but I’m having trouble finding one I haven’t read
1. In 6 weeks, give or take, I will (provided all goes well) get a nice little getaway from the madness that is this house! *I’m in an ‘over it’ mood today
2. I dreamed of bubble tea last night. Since the closest place I know of that makes it is 45 min away, I shall sub in an Oreo McFlurry tonight.
3. I always hear people complain most about laundry that never ends, never ever complete, there’s loads and loads, etc. For me that is dishes. I have a personal vendetta against dishes. When will they make throw away pots and pans as well?
Three point one things:
1. It is snowing here. Grrrrr
2. Had to go to doc today, stupid UTI. Double grrrrr
3. Tomorrow my “baby” is going to his Junior Prom. 🙂
3.1 I am reading How to Save a Life and it’s depressing. 🙁
Oh Leslie, I hate UTIs! I get a nasty one at some point after every baby.
Three things:
1. Mother Nature is off her medication, so it’s snowing here and cold and blowy!
2. I am hoping and praying for a “leave me the hell alone I’m in my hidey hold” day tomorrow…because I need some totally checked out from the world time.
3. I have cultivated a Mtn Dew Voltage addiction. I NEVER drink regular pop, and I can’t seem to stop drinking this stuff.
Maryse I’m read said stalker book right now… gahhhh it’s so frustrating I wanna skip to the middle-endish right now!
One thing though for sure —- I WILL NEVER EAT MINESTRONE SOUP AGAIN 😮
*HUGS Leslie*
Thanking the goddess right now UTIs are NOT contagious! 🙂
OK, I need to write reviews… But I cant because. The words. They aren’t … Nope. Uh-uh.
3 things.
1. I haven’t really started my ATF book (Painted Faces) yet… And R and Nay are both making me kind of want to squirrel a little….
2. I have no idea what bubble tea is. I am craving all of the foods and we are starting a weight loss thing at work next week. I need to lose like 20 pounds…so I should participate but *whine* I love my Pepsi sooo much.
3. The weather is so bipolar here. I just want to wear flip flops. (It is currently snowing) No plans that I know of…except to go see the movie Blockers with my besties this weekend.
From Wikipedia “Most bubble tea recipes contain a tea base mixed with fruit or milk, to which chewy tapioca balls (known as bubbles, pearls, or boba) and fruit jelly (especially tropical fruits like lychee) are often added. Ice-blended versions are usually mixed with fruit or syrup, resulting in a slushy consistency.[2] There are many varieties of the drink with a wide range of ingredients with some ingredients being mango, taro, coconut, and peach.“
I’ve only had it once, but saw pictures recently and once it’s stuck, I have to satisfy!! I think I had Thai flavor, it was t quite as sweet as chai, a slushy consistency and the balls at the bottom were like sucking up gummies and chewing them. I hate tapioca pudding, and when I hear tapioca that’s what I think of, but these balls are nothing like that. Lol
Anyone else giggle like a 10 year old boy at Tasha’s reference to sucking up gummy balls? No…just me? Shrugs…and moves on
Maryse you’ll love HL5. So good. And I cornered my recommender to assure me the angst is worth it and she swears it is! BUT…I have to squirrel to Epoch, even though it’s hard. I may be reading both simultaneously.
R. so jealous of you reading Hydraulic. It is intense. I may just do a re-read.
Bev, my hair is already short. Just got color touch-up. Lol.
Leslie, ugh UTI’s are a pain- literally. Drink lots of water.
Three things:
1. Started Beg Borrow or Steal. It’s ok so far and while the author is a doctor, she must be from UK, because written with Brtitish slang/phrases. I find it somewhat distracting.
2. My daughter found her dress for prom!!
3. Exhausted from college visits.
R., I haven’t read Transcend, but since you’re starting Epoch, I take it you recommend?
Also, the angst is worth it with Hydraulic. Nothing is simple when it comes to the H and it is realistic. A realistic and harsh look.
Tessa its the k drama version. Some pacing issues….its not perfect, but it keeps me entertained.
https://youtu.be/zi6UC9ZkIGU
Gahhhh! Cheryl! I’m dying to keep reading. I need a clone. And yes I totally recommend Transcend! I’m #teamnate along with Lisa!
*slaps hand to forehead* OMG bev…
Pecker Briefs?? LOL!!!! That title is awesome. 😛
I like the cover for Love and Other Words (unique covers always grab my attention) but the blurb sealed the deal.
UTI’s are horrid. I thought we moved past those when we left our twenties and early thirties?? Stupid urethras.
Hydraulic or Boy and His Ribbon next? GAH! Decisions!!
Bev, yeah. That’s what I mean by dark. It looks like a take, though not the pure insanity of the other two unless I’m missing a stepsister?
Three things:
1. I waited until the last minute to do my taxes, so that’s on the agenda for this weekend. Ugh. Kill me now.
2. My “hit repeat” song of the moment is JT & Chris Stapleton’s “Say Something”.
3. I’m reading Unfinished Business (Bastards of Boston) because I was in an MC Club mood after my long fantasy run.
And it might hail with Tornado threat in a few hours.
Alright, alright, alright. WTAF?!?!?
Show of hands…. who is reading Transcend/Epoch?
Who is reading Hydraulic whatever…??
Who is slowly backing away from whatever else they *were* reading to pick up one of these books???
I’ve started reading Transcend with Naynay since Epoch is out on iBook Store only $4.99 so not too bad 😉
I am actually leaving in few minutes to go get my taxes done. Pleh! I am last minute too.
*tiptoes away from Painted Faces* Shh, I don’t want to hear it. Transcend is free on KU…. hopefully Epoch will be free on KU on Monday? LOL. Wait. Those who have read it. Is it going to wreck me? I literally CANNOT take another book that is going to wreck me. I cried for over an hour last night. STRAIGHT. I’m not even exaggerating. Maybe I should look at the spreadsheet. Maybe I should try and write my reviews first… ugh. That’s a big cup of nope.
Yes Grey I just checked Epoch will be on KU Monday!
I have a potential spoiler question. The books have been out for years and so have the movies, I watched the movies before I knew there were books and a few years ago read the first book and that’s all bc I’m horrible committing to a series.
****
****
****
Anyway, Twilight- I saw a gif the other day about the epic fight scene in the last movie and how the twist was so shocking and awesome. And then one comment agreed and said that it especially was Bc that’s not what happened in the books. Now, I wanna know what happened in the book!??
*perks up*
Ooooh Grey, what did you read???
Tasha ending of the book is the second fight scene in the movie.
They changed the ending in the movie like that so it gave the readers of the book some entertainment factor – which totally worked I must admit lol
I was totally freaking out when people started dying!
Amy, I read Sleeping With Monsters. That book was no joke. I’m still processing.
OK at that bargain price I have jumped on the Drive train too. Yeah, I need another book on my tbr like a hole in the head. *shakes head at own foolishness in buying ANOTHER BOOK*
I’m intrigued by Transcend/Epoch but I’m not sureeeeeeee. *taps fingers on chin for a while* I loved Look The Part, but these ones sound a bit different. Still undecided whether or not to go there.
3 things?
1. It’s not snowing here LOL. Beautiful mild sunny autumn day (fall). The leaves are just starting to turn.
2. Going to cook curried chicken pot pies for tonight. Yummy.
3. Just finished my last choccie Easter egg last night. OK, that’s the chocolate madness over for another year.
Amy, wait? What???
Haven’t done mine either.
Just got our taxes done today too.
Amy I vote Hydraulic since book two to Ribbon isn’t released until June.
Raises hand for Transcend, (since already read Hydraulic years ago as fanfic) as long as someone answers Grey’s question re: wrecked. Don’t want that either.
Tessa, so the H has two best friends. The girl of the 3 is in line to be his step. The friendship is interesting, they are very close the 3 and supportive…of each other. To others, not so much.
Hi! Definitely was intrigued by Kinda Don’t Care and I have never read anything from the author. However, from the beginning reading this book it was evident it must have been a spinoff. Too much backstory missing, which for me was distracting. Even though it is the first in a series and supposedly a stand-alone, I feel like author should have mentioned it’s a spin-off. Or maybe I missed it somewhere??
Bev, did you ever watch the others? It’s why I’m curious. 🙂
Grey… you are scaring me, but you know that once I get it, I’ll still devour it. Gah, now scenarios are playing in my head! All of them SAD!
Oh, and yes. Somehow Ela got me convinced to read about purple aliens impregnating women and kidnapping them. 😀 After the last book, it has got to be better. The other was SOOOO boring.
Yes, Cruel Intentions. And pretty sure I watched Dangerous Liasions. Have not read the book.
It is not going to get as crazy as CI. I’ve heard it is on a Korean public station not cable so a bit tamer.
Purple aliens impregnating women? What book is that?? I read a series of blue aliens impregnating women. Ice Planet Barbarians, I think. LOL.
3 things:
1) I found a new writer to love–Cat Porter!
2) I’m also last minute on taxes.
3) I can’t quit watching the Trading Spaces marathon, and I can’t wait for the reboot tomorrow night! It’s currently the episode where Hildi staples flowers all over the bathroom wall–horrid!
A new shiny preorder I’d forgotten about rolled into my kindle this morning. I love it when that happens. It’s a new book by Susan Fanetti writing as S. E. Fanetti. Post apocalyptic. Looks good so far. (I’m at 15%). I like it when quality authors try other genres. And I do enjoy a good post apocalyptic.
Stacey, I hate when that happens! I don’t like spinoffs unless I have read previous books.
Nay, Trading Spaces was one of my fave all time shows! I cant wait for reboot and am too watching marathon. Hildi makes me nuts.
Hildi and her straw, feathers, wine bottle labels, sunflower seed packets, self portrait mural (so totally stupid), upside down furniture, ugh! And right now, she’s painting the fabric couch hot pink! I always hated it when she was on the show.
YOU GUYS!!!!!! Just finished Transcend and it is EPIC
Everyone MUST READ THIS BOOK
That means you too Maryse!!!!!
I promise you won’t regret it
Gahhhhhhhhh
WAIT did someone say a NEW POST-APOC
Must not get distracted
Must read EPOCH
hahaha Kooloo. I think you might like it…………… mwahahahah
MichelleS, yes. Purple. I did read a few of the blue ones, but they suddenly left KU so I haven’t gone back to see if it’s still there. lol This one is much lighter and not as well written, but fun.
CI is nuts, Bev. But, that’s why I love it.
Holy shit what a list new mixed with some oldies but goodies! Thank god for kindle unlimited at least it keeps a bit of cost down when a list like this pops up! I am actually so excited to get started…..
Nay – Cat Porter? It’s an MC Club series? You may like the one I’m reading, the Bastards of Boston. Love the dialogue & characters. There’s a bit too much plot, if you know what I mean. Sooooo much happens to these people. By so far so good for me.
Michelle–yes, it’s an MC, and I love it! And after the 4 books in the series, there’s a spin-off book (Fury) with a guy from another MC who appears in the original series, and now, she’s working on a mafia book with a hero who’s introduced in Fury. I’ve only read the first 2, and I can’t wait to finish, but I had to stop for Transcend and Epoch!
I found The Bastards and am putting them on my tbr. Thanks! I love a lot of plot! There’s quite a bit going on in the Cat Porter books, but you don’t realize how much until you get to the 2nd book–the 1st one just scrapes the surface.
OK so I started EPOCH by Jewel Ann Last night well it was like 230am but I’m off today so YAY!!! Anyway, I woke up with my head on my iPad (much better than getting smucked in the face like last time) and yup not gonna lie there was a bit of drool teehee
Before I get back to this AMAZZZING duet
****Show of hands who has not read Transcend yet?!?
*raises hand*
I’m stuck in creepy thriller land… but want very much to read the duet. <3
I just finished Epoch. Read all night. I want to sleep forever now.
I’m at 35% in Transcend.
me too, Nay. I have to adult for a little bit. Dishes and throwing dinner in the oven but then I’m gonna be back at it.
You girls are KIILING ME! Transcend is a KU book, and I have no restraint. Resistance is futile.
Happy Saturday everyone! Woke up to snow on the ground – I’m done with winter. I’ve been doing a lot of reading and my latest obsession is American Queen! It’s a trifecta of goodness for me. Dominance, strong male characters and I’m hoping for a triple relationship – because I don’t want her to have to pick one guy. Can’t wait for Tuesday to drop everything and devour The Thief!
MECHELLEMYBELLE!!!!
DO IT DO IT NOW
gah! it’s soooooo goood *shake fists in the air*
“You are unequivocally the greatest moment of my life.” (Epoch by Jewel E Ann)
*faceplants*
Transcend. 5 stars.
Remember Crosstalk by Connie Willis which sounded SO unique? It’s on sale for 1.99 down from 13.99! 😀
EPOCH WAS EPIC!!!!!! 5 STARS BABY!!!!!!!
So far, all of us who have finished Transcend have given it 5 stars!
Finished Aurora Terminus. It’s really good. For any of you who like a bit of post-apocalypse with a side serve of romance, I highly recommend. Gripping stuff.
No kids for the first time in months last night and I’m all excited to sleep good, watched pitch perfect 3 right before my eyes start drifting, (10pm at this point) and BAM! RLS kicks in. I had it terrible my 1st pregnancy, none since then until now and omg!! His head? or whatever it is has I believe sunk lower into my pelvis as well so on top of the aching arms and legs, I’ve got insane pressure right there, I’m carrying extremely low anyway and the shooting pains!! I ended up not crashing until 1am. I think he’s trying to remind me he will be my last and is making it memorable. :-/ As if I’d ever forget. 😛 These books ya’ll are mentioning sound epic!!! I wish I had the energy to read them right now, maybe I’ll give em a shot here soon. I have a bunch of laundry and sweeping and stuff to catch up on today.
Hey ladies, is Transcend in his POV only? Y’all know how I am about that…
It’s in hers too. I think mostly.
Okay then, I’ll give it a shot soon. 😉
Me too. Amy wanna buddy read?
I just finished that psych-thriller yesterday and it was so SO dark. I need epic love now.
I’m ready to read Transcend!
Transcend 5 stars! Waiting for next one on Amazon!!!!!! Yay!!!!
I’m in for reading Transcend!
Sounds good, Maryse…Transcend buddy read starts today! 😀
Lookie! Cheryl is joining us!!
I’ll grab the fixings for this and meet you in the Transcend blank is fort:

Cheryl, you’re in charge of the Nutella brownies. And Maryse, you bring the martini glasses. 😉 Bring enough so you can double fist the martinis and not swipe ours. *giggle*
I’m on it Amy!! Who has Manny? Do we need him?
I think Grey had him last. And yes…you need him.
Although I’m crying now. Silly me was reminiscing about fanfiction stories after R. brought up Hydraulic- it was a fanfiction I read a few years back. I started re-reading one of my fav’s- Quarterback Sneak, even though I KNEW it is not complete; I just couldn’t stop. It ends at chapter 16 and the author has not updated in TWO YEARS!!!! UGH. Think I’ll have to keep PM’ing her until she finishes it just to get me to stop!! *grabs a martini and stomps into the Transcend fort*
Manny is freshly bathed and ready to go!
We went and saw A Quiet Place and it was INTENSE. *shudder*
WOAH! Wait up! I missed on 3/28 Fallen Reign was out? How did I totally miss that? I know it must have been on here because It’s SL Jennings! HOW??? *one clicks*
BR Transcend! I’m in!!!
Okay I’ve started Transcend!!!! 😀 Already I’m in!!!! YAY ME!!!
bev?? Wanna?
Maryse, I’m only at 22% and already loving it. I actually fell asleep last night thinking about and replaying scenes in my head. The interactions and conversations are that genuine. And when she cares for Morgan and converses with Nate? *sigh* My heart swells.
Don’t get me started on Griffin and the perfection that is him and his family…
I had to stop reading ’cause it’s time to prepare tomorrow’s new release list. And then… back to my book!! 😀
bev…you definitely wanna. 😉
Amy… Back off. I licked Griffin…he’s mine.
Don’t worry, Griffin is pretty damn awesome but I’m more drawn to Nate right now. That man needs a big ol’ squeezy hug.
When she was feeding Morgan a bottle and he was texting her like a madman about only half of a bottle totally cracked me up!
I was 100% Nate. Lisa too. #clubnate #swoon
Wow, really… I can’t believe that I am so far opposite the group on this one.
Nate has my heart.
Griffin is amazing.
Both of them together in one book is bliss.
*silently begs author not to hurt my heart too much*
O holy shut I’m 40% into Transcend and wow I’m scared, excited, nervous and the butterflies are doubling in quantity!!! Oh goly…… love it when this happens!
