So Powerful, So Soul Touching. Maguerite & Tyler’s story has stayed with me for many years. …When I finished it, I just sort of stared into space.. I couldn’t start another book for a week.

A SERIES THAT STARTED IN A BOARD ROOM…
Hey all! Thanks for checking out Matt and Savannah’s story. The first book in the Knights of the Board Room series was sparked IN a board room. Before I was a full-time author, I was a secretary. I sat in a LOT of meetings. During one of them, my mind wandered, and I imagined a woman executive, arriving for a nighttime meet with her long-time business rival and his four-man executive team. That rival, who’s always wanted her, has decided what’s on the agenda is an erotic, multi-man, all-or-nothing boardroom battle for her heart and soul.
See? Meetings don’t HAVE to be boring—at least in our minds, lol. Hope you enjoy Matt and Savannah’s FREE book. Here’s a handful of other facts about the Knights:
* Each man in Matt’s team has his own standalone book in the series.
* If you like BDSM romance, billionaires and uber-protector heroes, this series checks all those boxes.
* There are two interracial titles – Honor Bound is WM/bf and Soul Rest is BM/wf.

It was a suicidal move, all in all. She was by herself with a man who physically outmatched her several times over. Her hands were tied, her clothes scattered in tatters on the floor.
But she didn’t intend to run. She merely took one step back, threw out her chin and waited. He’d made it a competition, and she didn’t quit or surrender. She intended to walk away with every hair in place, figuratively if not literally. She’d call tonight an amusing diversion of sex games to his face, her sophisticated indifference intact.
It didn’t matter that the pit of her stomach was quivering with nerves or that she was way beyond the deep end of the pool. She was in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight. A long time ago, she’d learned to mask fear, turn the energy that fueled it into her weapon. With this level of trepidation, she should be able to come up with a nuclear missile.
He’d bent over at the waist, no choice there for any man. When he straightened, he did it slow. Pure fury was in his gaze, and something else, that indefinable look again, the one that frightened her far worse than the threat of physical retribution.
“That’s not going to be enough to drive me away, Savannah,” he said softly. “There are things I could do to bring you more pleasure than you’ve ever known, if you’d just let me. I’d make love to you for hours, let you sleep in my arms without worry. Put fresh flowers in your room every morning before you wake so they’re the first thing you see. Take care of you.”
“I don’t need anyone to take care of me,” she retorted.
“I know. Which makes it all the more important that someone does.”

Susan, thank you!! Mirror of My Soul is one of my favorites as well (grin) – I love Tyler and Marguerite’s story. It’s one of my touchstones for the kind of books I always want to write. And oh, Jacob – heartfelt, pitter-patter sigh. I love him, too. Love his devotion to Lyssa. I was just doing a re-read of their story of sorts, because Vampire Queen’s Servant and Mark of the Vampire Queen are being offered in audio. I “had” to listen to the chapters (grin). It was really nice to spend time with them again. Thank you again for the great comment.

My contemporary Nature of Desire and paranormal Vampire Queen series have the most diverse D/s dynamics from book to book. You’ll find M/f, F/m, menage, M/m, IR, etc.
The Knights of the Board Room series is all M/f, with the exception of Book 6, Willing Sacrifice, which is F/m.
The Mistresses of the Board Room series is F/m, though Book 2 (Neil/Abby’s story) is a switch heroine.
Naughty Bits is M/f. Naughty Wishes is full triangle menage M/f/M (which means there is also a M/m relationship. Both men are Dominant with the female member of the threesome).
My paranormal series Arcane Shot and Daughters of Arianne are M/f series.
I started re-reading/listening to The Nature of Desire series. These are very re-readable books with great narration.. Lyda is one of my favorite characters. I enjoyed her appearance in Soul Rest and hope to see her often.

Megan, it is a WONDERFUL place to visit. I’ve been three times, and I’m sure I’ll go again. There is so much to see and do. A lot of focus gets placed on Bourbon Street, but that’s probably the least interesting place to me – a lot of drinking, partying and bad smells (seriously bad smells, lol). Good music, yes, but you can find that in the French Market clubs as well (I’m not a live music person, so I can’t speak as well to that as others.) But the Garden District, the museums, Audubon Park, the riverfront, the little out of the way places, the shops and people to discover – ooh, and Mardi Gras world, where you can see the floats in this giant warehouse…I’ll never run out of stuff to enjoy. And simply people watching around Jackson Square provides tremendous story substance. I think Hostile Takeover, Book 5 of the series, is where I integrated my fullest appreciation for the details of the city, and it can standalone if you’d like to jump forward to it.
