in eBook Deals

A very long list today, and so many look good, but there are already five that gave me that “shift-my-TBR-list” jolt. ;) Okay, like… Josh and Hannah (look at the recommendations for it below and tell me it doesn’t make you wanna one-click), Beneath the Burn (the one I’ve been getting the most recs for lately), Raising Ryann (Bad Boy Reformed) (another that I keep getting a ton of recommendations for), Trouble (running away with the cage fighter/MC leader’s woman? I dunno but that sounds like it might be fun!) and Cake ’cause of the recommendations, ’cause I love cupcakes and the cover is too cute, and ’cause someone said she’s in love with her best friend and his feelings aren’t mutual. Oh I love that kind of book pain!

Plus, a bunch of others down there have me curious, too. A few that are already on my TBR list, and a few that I purchased awhile ago that have erroneously been moved down my TBR list that some of you just reminded me about.

Anything jumping out at you right now?

NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order.

Here are today’s latest reader recommendations and bargain ebook finds:

  • Relentless (Shattered Hearts) by Cassia Leo <— Jeannie found us these two deals! “Relentless and Pieces of You by Cassia Leo are both on sale – both with great reviews!”

Ah. Know what has me super excited about this? There’s more books, I don’t have to end at this book!” (here’s the rest of the series reading order).

  • The Agreement (The Unrestrained Series) by S.E. Lund <— oh I like the sound of this one!! “…an enticing letter from an anonymous Dominant to his new submissive.” and when she finally meets him, he’s her father’s friend’s son! • Love Square by Jessica Ingro <–  I read it and was fairly entertained (mind you, I struggled to like the characters considering the circumstances, mind games, severe indecision and treachery going on… GAH! Made me squirm and feel bad). But if you like over-the-top angst, punishing love triangles of cheating, and self-induced agony, here’s one for ya! Review to come.

  • Beneath the Burn by Pam Godwin <— This one is making my TBR list antsy! I’m feeling a shift! Recommended a few times but this comment from Shannon sure helps: “Finally finished Beneath the Burn by Pam Godwin (why oh why didn’t I start this book at the beginning of the long weekend rather than the end?) and it was fan-freaking-tastic!!! Loved the strong female lead, who remained strong despite being imprisioned by a sicko, and the broken rock star who found inspiration with her. I’m glad you are already aware of beneath the burn. “Dark” oh yes, that’s there. Action on top of action, I had to put it down just to breathe and recover, the strong connection between our 2 leads is undeniable and sparks are there, but the author draws it out and keeps me wanting more. Oh! And I’m only halfway through.

Lee August 9, 2013 at 12:12 PM

Amy August 9, 2013 at 12:33 PM

It never fails. I go on a freaking ebook shopping spree every Tuesday and Friday after you put your posts up. What can I say, ebooks and nail polish are my vices!

Maryse August 9, 2013 at 12:42 PM

Oh don’t get me started on nail polishes!! Love ‘em! I have that pink one that has these navy blue/blackish flecks in ‘em and some sparkles too, and the look is so cool. The blue version is even better ’cause it looks like a robin’s egg when dry, but I can’t ever find that one at my Sephora.

Karen August 9, 2013 at 12:44 PM

So, I must say! I am in a alpha-male-reading-need… I read all bad boys and alpha males from your list… Love all – some more than ohers… The problem is that I am waiting *anxiously*, to read Unattainable by Madeline Sheehan… Do you have any suggestions? Pretty please?

Amy August 9, 2013 at 12:53 PM

Oooooh, that color sounds gorgreous! Look on ebay or Amazon if you can’t find a particular color. I’ve found a lot of HTF and discontinued colors that way. Talk about it being a vice, I buy nail polishes by collections. I will buy every color in the collection. No joke. I have 24 collections from OPI and China Glaze so far!

Renea August 9, 2013 at 1:00 PM

Was looking at the Immortals of New Orleans on Amazon and book 1 is free!! Looking forward to a weekend of paranormal creatures!

Maryse August 9, 2013 at 1:04 PM

Good idea Amy!!

Actually it looks like it’s in stock on Sephora’s website. YES!!!

This is it: (I have the pink one, but now will be getting the blue):

Christina Bridges August 9, 2013 at 1:21 PM

Lisa76 August 9, 2013 at 3:30 PM

Ok I always think I’m catching up and putting a dent in the books on my TBR list and then Friday rolls around ;) OH WELL! I just added 5 more to the list. Is it sad when you wish for a rainy weekend so you have an excuse to stay inside and read?

Bluey August 9, 2013 at 3:59 PM

As a lurker, I have to come out and say that this time you’ve really done it. Soooo many books I need NOW, and soooo cheap. What are you doing to my kindle? It’s going to ‘splode.

Ashley August 9, 2013 at 5:11 PM

Well I’m glad I’m not the only one who hordes ebooks and nail polish!

Krystal August 9, 2013 at 5:25 PM

If you love Unbeautiful and Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan, I highly recommend Seize Me (Breakneck Series) by Crystal Spears! Finished it last night and it was awesome! If you loved the Motorcycle club and all the nitty gritty things like in Unbeautiful and Undeniable I think you’ll love this series also! Can’t wait for book # 2 in this series coming out in September!

Annie August 9, 2013 at 9:29 PM

Wounded and Edible were incredible reads and I highly recommend them. The alpha male in Edible is just that E. D. I. B. L. E!! nd yes you will need a napkin to wipe the druel off your chin!

Marisa August 9, 2013 at 11:02 PM

Did you get to read Painted Lines? I think it was on your TBR list a few weeks ago. Just finished it and would give 4 to 4.5 stars because of the rushed ending. Is there a sequel? If there is, the ending would look better. Also lots of editing problems, although you won’t be putting it down because of that, bur annoying anyway. I kept going “just one more chapter” until I finished close to 5am. I think you would enjoy it and it has a bad boy biker to die for. I’d love to know what you thought of it.

Lauren August 10, 2013 at 8:12 AM

I’m going to try some of these suggestions. I HATE book slumps. Last really great books I read was E.L Montes Disastrous & Cautious. Oooooo, so good! Read then immediately read 2nd book then went back & re-read em both.

Sara August 10, 2013 at 10:56 AM

i have a book recommendation:

this one is really god, you will enjoy it:D

Shelly August 10, 2013 at 2:53 PM

Maryse, coming to your blog ALWAYS extends my TBR list! :D Thanks for compiling these weekly!

Lynne August 10, 2013 at 11:20 PM

Linda August 11, 2013 at 10:10 PM

Linda, I am glad someone else appreciates a Home Depot shopping spree! After I finished Mid life Love I emailed the author and told her how much I enjoyed her book especially the Home Depot scene. She got back to me and said that Jonathan had just taken her to Home Depot yesterday and she would ask him to take me in a day or two. So after we go I will send him on to you for your spree!

Linda August 12, 2013 at 6:05 AM
