This looks like a fantastic list this week. Lots of new-to-me on here. In fact, I’m all antsy and I’ve been hopping and leg wiggling with excitement in my chair, with each new recommendation… just “one-clicking” away. ;) Some of the ones I’ve purchased: Frayed (Torn Series #2) and Blasphemous (Torn Series #3) (I already had book #1, and I just keep hearing how good this series is), Surviving Raine (a hero I’m going to love to hate, ’cause he’s a jerk!), Extinguish (a novella that I hear is SO good), The Captive Series Books 1-3 (’cause who doesn’t love a good vampire/human slave series?) and Control (I have no clue what it’s about, but Shanda’s recommendation was so adamant, that I just had to one-click it anyway).

I ummm.. have to admit that I already had a bunch of the others, below. My TBR list needs some serious tending to, and yet, I just keep growing it. Tee hee!! It’s like my first hobby is reading, and my second hobby is one-clicking. 3rd hobby? Ebook hoarding. Er… collecting. I mean ebook collecting. *snicker*

So here there are:

Today’s latest reader recommendations and ebook bargain finds!

NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order.

  • Frayed (Torn Series #2) by Pamela Ann —> Thanks Sarah for pointing out that book #2 & #2 are on sale right now. I just bought them both!
  • Blasphemous (Torn Series #3) by Pamela Ann
  • Surviving Raine by Shay Savage <— so I hear the guy in this one is a real a$$. Well!! My interest has been piqued. Now why in the heck do I love to read about those guys? I avoid them like the plague in real life, but in book-life, I get a secret (now not-so-secret) thrill out of how mad they make me. I’m always pining for that change… This one is on the top edge of the “bargain pricing” but I’ve been wanting to read this and Jeannie reminded me of it today saying: “Surviving Raine by Shay Savage is on sale right now, going to grab this right now..”

  • Extinguish by J.M. Darhower <—  Joanna says: “So this is J.M Darhower’s newest, which I read in one sitting last night (novella, so no hangover). This is not a traditional romance but damn it’s good.” Kat loved it too: “Just finished ‘Extinguish’ by J.M. Darhower. O how I loved Luce. Just wish the story was a little longer but it is left where a 2nd book can be written.”

This is a beautiful story, of love, friendship, trust and learning. The characters are really well written and feel “real”. Maryse! Thank you so much once again for your blog! I recently read Surviving Raine and I LOVED the bad boy! I REALLY did! Very moving book. I also recently read Dangerous to Know & Love and loved it as well. It was very touching to me for reasons that I can’t tell you because it would spoil it for you. Read both of these wonderful books….I think they are right up your alley. :-)

I just read that new one “fierce” by ginger voight in one night. I couldn’t put it down. It was great! Unfortunately it ends in a bit of a cliffhanger. I guess there will be a sequel. I can’t wait! It’s a 4.5-5 star read. :)

Mertxe June 8, 2013 at 1:36 PM

I loved Pushing the Limits, It’s a must-read my second favorite 5-stars ( my forever first is Sea of Tranquility) I just finished Playing Patience and I fall for Zeke, 4.5 intense

Just finished Fire Inside by Kristen Ashley and it was just as good as her previous two Chaos books. I’m crushing on a guy named Hopper? Hell yes when he’s a hella-hot super-alpha bad-ass biker on a Harley fighting for his woman’s heart! You have to read this Chaos series.

Maryse June 9, 2013 at 6:00 AM

Wow, looks like there are lots of good books on this list! :) Thanks for letting me know which ones you’re all enjoying. Keep them coming.

MARYSE, I finally broke down and got framed and blaphemous and then realized that I could not find book No 1. eeekkk Is it out of the e-books now or did I miss it because it of the title, meaning does it not say Book 1 of Torn? I really hate to start this series without starting with the first book,do you know the title of it and if for whatever reason they took it off Amazon, do you know any other e-book site that still has it,I know this is hard because I don’t know the tiltle, but maybe its listed in the credits of book 2, can you or anyone help me? please with a cherry on top !!!

I absolutely LOVED The Edge of Darkness, and if you really loved Colleen Hoover’s book, Slammed you would love this one. The writing style is different, but it’s as equally powerful and the Prologue is awesome!!!! Thank you for taking my book recommendation and posting it!! I love your blog and all the AWESOME info and recommendations you give!
