We’re less than a month away from the publication of the first book in the Maddox Brothers Series, Beautiful Oblivion: A Novel (Maddox Brothers), and I’m already BIG TIME crushing on Trent (Travis’s older brother). Of course, him just being a “Maddox man” means I’m already in love with him. 😉 But I can’t wait to get to know “Trent” himself, and fall for a Maddox all over again.

“So,” Kody said as he chewed, “Trent Maddox.”
I shook my head. “No. Don’t even start.”
“Looks like you already did,” Kody said with a wry smile.
“You’re both acting like I was all over him. We talked.”
“He bought you four drinks. And you let him,” Raegan said.
“And he walked you to the car,” Kody said.
“And you traded phone numbers,” Raegan said.
“I have a boyfriend,” I said, a bit snotty and maybe a little valley girl. Getting ganged up on did weird things to me.
“Who you haven’t seen in almost three months, and who’s canceled on you twice,” Raegan said.
“So, he’s selfish because he’s dedicated to his job and wants to move up the ladder?” I asked, not really wanting to hear the answer. “We all knew this was coming. T.J. was honest from the beginning about how demanding his job could be. Why am I the only one not surprised?”
Kody and Raegan traded glances, and then continued eating their disgusting chicken fetuses.
“What are you guys doing today?” I asked.
“I’m going to lunch at my parents’ house,” Raegan said. “And so is Kody.”
I paused midbite, and pulled the bagel out of my mouth. “Really? That’s kind of a big deal,” I said with a smile.
Kody smirked. “She’s already warned me about her dad. I’m not nervous.”
“You’re not?” I asked, in disbelief.
He shook his head, but seemed less confident. “Why?”
“He’s a retired Navy SEAL, and Raegan’s not just his daughter. She’s his only child. This is a man who has strived for perfection and pushed himself beyond his limits his entire life. You think you’re going to walk in the door, threatening to take more of Raegan’s time and attention from him, and he’s just going to welcome you to the family?”
Kody was speechless. Raegan narrowed her eyes at me. “Thanks, friend.” She patted Kody’s hand. “He doesn’t like anyone at first.”
“Except me,” I said, raising my hand.
“Except Cami. But she doesn’t count. She isn’t a threat to his daughter’s virginity.”
Kody made a face. “Wasn’t that Jason Brazil like four years ago?”
“Yes. But Daddy doesn’t know that,” Raegan said, a little annoyed that Kody said The Name We Shall Not Speak.
Jason Brazil wasn’t a bad guy, we just pretended that he was. We all went to high school together, but Jason was a year younger. They decided to seal the deal before she went to college, hoping it would solidify their relationship. I thought she would tire of having a boyfriend who was still in high school, but Raegan was dedicated, and they spent most of their time together. Not long after Jason began his own freshman year at ESU, the wonders of college, joining a fraternity, and being Eastern State football’s star true freshman kept him busy, and the change spawned nightly arguments. He respectfully broke it off, and never once spoke a bad word about her. But he took Raegan’s virginity and then didn’t keep his end of the bargain: to spend the rest of his life with her. And for that, he was forever the enemy of this house.

Of course Travis is my favorite book boyfriend ! Really, the guy’s a fighter, he has tats (lots of them… sigh), he is soooo in love with Abby, and he got her a DOG ! Can anyone resist a guy like that ? I can’t. And he nearly killed me in WD with all his inner-battles and sweetness and love and everything. He’s the guy you want to meet and spend the rest of your life with.

What can I say? I read Beautiful Disaster in literally one day, can´t wait to read from Trent now.
I don’t It didn’t surprise me at all that his book was the first in the ‘Maddox Series’ I guess because he is the closest to Travis, what did surprise It was from Cami’s point of view, so I can’t wait to fall in love AGAIN with a Maddox Brother from a girlie pov (I hope Jamie write Walking Oblivion, or something)

Ahhhhh always leaving you wanting more!!!!! I love Trent even though he got scared and let Abby in the fire lol. He was supppper funny at the bachelor party! I have read Jamie’s Beautiful Series of books, at least 10x thru! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Travis. I have never HAD to read books like I HAVE to read Jamie’s. I have countdowns to BOB on anything and everything you can have countdowns on! I have read the Chapter 1 tease about 20x already! So freaking excited! Reading Beautiful Disaster was a welcome back to reading for me – and boy what an amazing book to do it with! I think it have read and reread that book at least 10 times – and each time is better than the next! Travis is everything is girls want in a book boyfriend and more! Badass, fit, committed (to the right woman), ridiculously sweet and HAWT! I loved how he developed throughout he book – from a man whore to the perfectly flawed boyfriend! I am BEYOND excited for Trent! I fell in love with Travis (one of my many book boyfriends) during Beautiful Disaster and understood him and the whole Maddox clan better in Walking Disaster. I love how fierce each male in the Maddox clan is, how they treat their dad, and how much they were all heartbroken to lose their mom. I think Trent is the perfect brother for the next part of the story and I cannot wait to read about his story with Cami. And hopefully get a few scenes with Abby and Travis along the way! : )

He was rude and arrogant but somehow he had an amazing heart and he was fiercely protective of those he loved- and that made him impossible not to love. The only reason I’m not going with Travis as my favorite is because I have another one from a paranormal romance series (Bones from Night Huntress) and he is always at the top… However he isn’t human so from that category Travis sure is in the lead.
Also I really want this book because is yet another angle to an amazing story. We’ll get a better picture of the world Travis and Abbi showed us and that’s super exciting.

Ah! I bought Happenstance as soon as it came out, for more than one reason. Jamie McGuire is my favorite author. BUT I really wanted the excerpt of Beautiful Oblivion! I was so not disappointed! Trenton is amazing! I absolutely love the adoration he has for Abby. As a fiance to a man who has multiple brothers, it’s amazing to know that the siblings care for you.
As for favorite book boyfriend, its definitely a tie between Travis and Trent. I adore the fact that Trent is hanging around and helping his dad out. Total sweetheart! Just so excited about this book! Ahhh!

Ever since I read Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster I got curious with the other Maddox brothers most especially to Trent because he is very close to Travis who is also my forever book boyfriend!

Oh Man, tough one. Aside from Travis, some of my other favorites are Aiden St Delphi from the Covenant series and Daemon Black from the Lux Series. I like Adrian from Vampire Academy too, but I think I have to go with Travis.

That excerpt has me so excited for this book. I just hope Trenton is a lot calmer than his brother, I didn’t hate Travis or his relationship with Abby but Travis being incredibly possessive and co-dependent made it hard at times for me to enjoy their love story.

Reading Beautiful Disaster was a welcome back to reading for me – and boy what an amazing book to do it with! I think it have read and reread that book at least 10 times – and each time is better than the next! Travis is everything is girls want in a book boyfriend and more! Badass, fit, committed (to the right woman), ridiculously sweet and HAWT! I loved how he developed throughout he book – from a man whore to the perfectly flawed boyfriend! I am BEYOND excited for Trent! I fell in love with Travis (one of my many book boyfriends) during Beautiful Disaster and understood him and the whole Maddox clan better in Walking Disaster. I love how fierce each male in the Maddox clan is, how they treat their dad, and how much they were all heartbroken to lose their mom. I think Trent is the perfect brother for the next part of the story and I cannot wait to read about his story with Cami. And hopefully get a few scenes with Abby and Travis along the way! : )

The only reason I’m not going with Travis as my favorite is because I have another one from a paranormal romance series (Bones from Night Huntress) and he is always at the top… However he isn’t human so from that category Travis sure is in the lead.
Also I really want this book because is yet another angle to an amazing story. We’ll get a better picture of the world Travis and Abbi showed us and that’s super exciting.

Ah! I bought Happenstance as soon as it came out, for more than one reason. Jamie McGuire is my favorite author. BUT I really wanted the excerpt of Beautiful Oblivion! I was so not disappointed! Trenton is amazing! I absolutely love the adoration he has for Abby. As a fiance to a man who has multiple brothers, it’s amazing to know that the siblings care for you.
As for favorite book boyfriend, its definitely a tie between Travis and Trent. I adore the fact that Trent is hanging around and helping his dad out. Total sweetheart! Just so excited about this book! Ahhh!
