LOL!!!!
OH!!!! AND below is the most beautiful piece and the PERFECT “extra” to Ryan and Taryn’s tumultous (yet SO worth it) love story. Ryan has written Taryn a Valentines Day love letter, and… ahhhhhhh I shouldn’t have read it. It makes me all fluttery inside!! Sherry beware!!! You will need to sit down for this one. 😉 (and if you haven’t read this series yet… skip the letter so you can get maximum effect from the series, first).

Until I met you, I honestly didn’t know what I wanted out of life. I was going through the daily motions, pulled in directions that people told me to go in. Doing things that made life maddening, complicated, and so very isolated. On the day that I met you, my life had gotten pretty out of hand. And then I saw you; your eyes, your shy smile, the way you seemed to brighten the entire room. How you tried to avoid me at all costs just to give me a shred of peace that you thought I didn’t have.
You were right.
I had very little peace in my life.
I thought you were an angel, sent to free me from the madness.
And then you reminded me of how to breathe, of how to just be. You showed me what I was truly missing – you gave me that pure love that came from deep within your heart and made me feel safe and serene. You gave it so freely, without expectations. Your love wasn’t tied to things or to places or to a cost or a sacrifice. It was pure and sweet and even though I didn’t deserve it, I took it hungrily, greedily.
I knew from that moment I wanted you to be mine. And it wasn’t just the mind-blowing sex or the way I felt so connected to you that made me feel that way.
I saw my entire future in the sparkle of your gorgeous eyes – How I would propose to you and beg you to forgo all others and marry me. How I wanted to build a life with you; writing our story together, one day at a time. I saw you full with the life that we created together, and of us passing that unending love on to our children.
I may be greedy, but I wanted it all.
And by some miracle, to which I still don’t know how I deserved it, you became mine and day by day we build our lives together. You make me whole, Taryn. You are the peace that keeps me sane in the insanity that surrounds us. We are so deeply engrained that we do those silly things that couples do, like finishing each other’s sentences or knowing what the other needs with just a silent look.
I thank the Lord every day that I have you.
And together we’ve made a son and he’s bright and beautiful and makes me realize every day what is truly important in this self-serving world. You and Mitchell are my world. MINE.
You both make me a better man.
And I will work every day of my life to make sure you both know how grateful I am, how much you mean to me, and how much I love you both.
