I’ve been highly anticipating this one (Knight (The Unfinished Hero Series), awaiting it’s release since Kristen teased us in a recent newsletter:
“I’ve always wanted to write book about a bad guy. A real bad guy. Not one who seeks or finds redemption but one you can’t help but love and hope he gets his girl. They have both already come to me and I have to say I am itching to dig into them. His name will be Knight (yep, hokie but I do not care… he’s hot) and she will be Anya. And I’m already in love with both of them.”
And on her Facebook page, she went on to say:
“This novel is complete but it is different than my other work. Shorter but more intense. The hero VERY complex. The steam much, much, MUCH steamier. I hope you embrace this new risk I’m taking but understand it isn’t for everyone.”
And then I found some awesome tidbits on her website, too:
“I always wanted to write a romance novel about an anti-hero. You know, a guy who’s really a bad boy and doesn’t intend to change…
… This will not be your normal Kristen Ashley romance novel.
Firstly, it will be shorter. My novels range from around 100,000 to well over 200,000 words. This one will be less than 90,000. However, it will pack the usual KA punch, I promise.
Secondly, with some support and encouragement from seven very wonderful women, I have decided to tell Knight and Anya’s story in all of its complexity and intensity.
And by this, although if you’ve read any of my novels, you know I don’t shy away from sex, what I mean is, this one takes it to a different level. Instead of a steamy romance, I will be giving you a steamy erotic romance. It is not exactly no holds barred. However, the relationship shared by my hero and heroine most certainly is far more intense and explores the mores of sexuality.”
And then some of the early-birds starting weighing in, loving it:

I did it TOO!!!! All through my post and whatnot, I spelled it Kristen, and yet in the title (at first) I spelled it Kristin. Grrrr!! All fixed now 😉

I liked it! I didn’t love it though and I usually LOVE all Kristen’s books. I think it was the “Daddy” thing…..Euw!!! Kinda gave me the creeps! I would have loved this book so much more if she used ANY other endearment. Maybe Knight could chat with Fifty….get some ideas for less creepy bossy Dom endearments!
I spent my Easter Sunday with Knight and I wouldn’t change a thing!!! I absolutely loved the book, Knight & Anya…oh and Anya’s crazy friend Viv too!!! Of course, I love all things Kristen Ashley!!! 🙂
OMG KNight. After sweet “slamming” Will, I needed a bad boy and does Kristen ever deliver. I love how in awe he is of Anya. Another great recommendation… Keep them coming!

I never ever review anything, and I read a-lot, that said I loved “Knight”, would like to see continuation of this series, and Kristen books with this little bit extra works for me. Keep up the most excellent writing!!!
