I experienced EVERYTHING, (in this order): Sweet appreciation, absolute shock, titillated delight, swooning, yearning, swooning, a little hot under the collar (a few times ;)), bittersweet moments, more yearning and swooning, tears, sobbing, and sweet appreciation. And always…. adoration. For the characters, for the author, and absolute adoration for these butterflying AMAZING books.

Could I be the first to comment on this tear jerking great book. I read them, then my mom read then and cried, laughed and fell in love with ALL the characters, then my SIL read them, then my ex SIL, then both my Aunts, then my friends at work, everyone loving the series……. it was a big surprise since this isn’t my normal kind of reading, I surprised everyone. Thanks M. for all the hard work putting this blog together and keeping it up.
Hmm…I rarely cry when reading books but sometimes some online only stories can be incredibly intense.

The Reluctant Dom By Tymber Dalton, not only did I cry , I sobbed. It was a great book, but i woke up with swollen eyes and a red nose. It was so heartfelt. You become attached to the characters from the begging, and then you find out hes dying. Anyway that’s the book where i cried the most. But i would love to win these books!

She wound up making me bleed for her stupidity. I just wanted to change her reactions to everything so that she would wind up with Caleb. Wow, what a book.

One here recently that made me cry was “When a Monster Calls.” My grandmother recently passed away from cancer and it really hit home in a way that I never expected. Such a sweet book and very very emotional.

Undeniable is the most recent book that had me crying. I also cried during these. I read these without knowing her mom had cancer and my had just been diagnosed. Tough read for me but very worth it.

A book that made me cry … Binding Arbitration by Elizabeth Marx. It was on one of your bargain lists. I cried like a baby and the I made my sister read it and giggled when she sent me angry text messages cause SHE cried like a baby. Lol.

This series has to be one of the best I have read so far, the emotions I felt when reading & the fact that I couldn’t sleep until I had read them, left me wanting more. I have re-read them a couple of times, as I throughly enjoyed every chapter. In my eyes that’s what makes a brilliant author!!

These two books have been discussed so much by me. I once said they weren’t quite life altering, but they definitely affected me. I am a member of three book clubs and have recommended them to all three groups. It would be butterflying awesome to have signed copies to go with my eBooks. I must say, however, the most recent book I cried because I was laughing so hard was Janet Evanovich…Stephanie Plum series. I would love a good book to cry over.

One book I clearly remembered that made me cry was “The Diary of Anne Frank”.
I Butterflying love these books. Having a signed copy would be amazing. Just finished reading them both for the 2nd time before my SIL reads them. Both of these books made me cry. I also cried when I read Taking Chances, Sea of Tranquility, Butterfly Weeds, and list goes on and on.

Honestly, when I set out to think if a book that made me cry, I couldn’t remember any one book in particular. But looking through the previous comments.. I had a few moments of “oh yeah.. I did cry during that book”! Butterfly Weeds (“as for the war, I surrendered.” –still brings me to tears thinking about it), The Edge of Never, Taking Chances (I never want to experience that Chase scene again. It was beautifully written, but absolutely HORRIBLE on my emotions. I sobbed.) Heck, I cried a little during Acheron when Sherrilyn Kenyon took us through all the horrid and disgusting things that happened to him.
Guess I can remember a few books 🙂

I love Slammed and POR. Just having lost a parent this year and on top of it I work in Oncology in the infusion room so I see people receiving treatments everyday. So these books touched me to no end. I have never laughed and cried so much when it comes to reading. I love Colleen for these books.

A great read that will take you on that emotional roller coaster is Teresa Medeiros’s “Goodnight Tweetheart” I have recommended this book to so many people and they ALL loved it. I would love to read these..Slammed has been on my TBR list for quite a while!

The closest to making me cry would have been The Sea Of Tranquility by Katja Millay. However, the last book to REALLY make me cry (which is hard to do!) was Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.
Slammed had me sobbing and The Edge of Never mad me cry also….I recommend these, among others, to all my friends that read
Night’s Child – by Cate Tiernan. The sweep series has a lot of moments, especially in the last omnibus installment that rip your heart out and throw it at you. Honestly, I cry frequently in books and storylines, because I pick stories that I have vested interest in, so they hit close to home and I get attached to the characters. Night’s child, 21 pages in I started crying, and I had to put it down, and walk away. But the death of a certain someone, in “For a Few Demons More” by Kim Harrison (without spoiling it for anyone) – I know you’ve read it, so I know you know who I mean – really devastated me. SO, that left me in tears, as well as ODW & WWBC… subsequently every time it comes up, I revisit that pain. =The best kind of writing in my opinion.

The most recent book that I read that made me cry was Ruining Me. Love a good emotional book. They are the best.
Both books were so emotionally charged for me. Each book had moments for tears to fall.
The Slammed series are two of my favorite books! They were great finds and I recommend them all the time! They were especially special to me b/c my best friend is a HUGE Avett Bros fan (she recently move safe far away) & the books made me feel close to her! I recently read the Shiver series by Maggie Stiefvater- 3 books in all, but the middle book – Linger made me cry so badly my husband had to read the last 15 pages to me- These books hurt my feelings- BIG Time!

Time Stands Still, book 2 of the “Emi Lost and Found Series”. I cried for two hours I was so heart broken. Glad I wasn’t reading this at work. Still on book 2 , things are looking up for Emi.

The Edge of Never sad and then tears of joy. Taking Chances killed me. And I have 15% of Charade left and will prob cry.
Both of these books sound amazing and have been added to the wish list along with Ten Tiny Breaths of course. I have SOT already on my Kindle and from the sound of it, that needs to be my next read!

Breaking Dawn made me cry at the end. Edward finally got to see Bella’s thoughts and I just melted. Plus, I realized it was the end! Hehe!!

The first book I ever remember crying to was Where the Red Fern Grows. I was about 11 Years old and I remember heart wenching, bone deep sobbing. My Dad walked by my room and saw me crying and told me he cried when he read this book too. It made me feel much better.
I agree with many of those who commented. The Edge of Never was a great tear-jerker. Loved it!

Great giveaway! Two new books I read recently that had me balling like a baby were Charade and The Edge of Never.
I cried towards the end if Requim when Ryan was in surgery
And they didn’t know if he was going to make it. It was sad when Claire was unsure of what her fate was and They were reliving the last time they were at the hospital and Jared almost died. That was such a sad moment.
i cried on thoughtless/charde/reason to breath series…. and a few others lol im like a big baby with alot of these books lol!! Love the give away!!!

I love this series! I did cry reading Slammed — the letter from her Mom. Yeah…the tears were falling. I also cried in the Edge of Never. I love how I can connect with characters that I am reading about so much that I hurt with them, feel their emotions. Awesome books!

Well there a few that tugged at my emotions. The Edge of Never had me tearing up. The Barely Breathing Series had my emotions in a twist. And The Opportunist had me in an uproar as well.
I so love Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire. I cried and cannot WAIT for Walking Disaster 🙂 I haven’t read these books yet but I cannot wait to!!!
I bought these two books on paperback after seeing them on this blog;YEAH Maryse you rock! They are two of my favorite books. I have shared these two books so much since reading them that the binding is coming apart so YES definitely would love these to replace mine.OH and last book that made me CRY and had me shaking was The Edge of Never and before that was definitely Sea of Tranquility-Those last two words of that book; wow just amazing. The book that recently had me in tears throughout the entire book was Exposed to you by Beth Kery. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone who is currently or thinking about reading this book but 1 of the main characters is in remission from cancer. Many points that will touch your heart in this book!

Slammed is my fav book hands down. I couldn’t tell you how many times I have read it. what is a book called where what is a book called where she went I was so mad when it made me cry cuz I didn’t even like the book writing style drove me nuts. But when the book finally comes full circle when you start to understand the main character it hit me like a brick wall and I was a goner.

Love Slammed and POR! “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Greene got me choked up bad. Also, “Undeniable” by Madeline Sheehan had my emotions on a roller coaster.
The Edge of Never made me cry. Also, the second book of 50 Shades made me cry a little. But the one that made me cry the most is “Lover Reborn” Tohr’s Story from Black Dagger Brotherhood. OMG, I thought I might need couseling there for a few days. LOL!

I love “Slammed” and “Point of Retreat”. Books that made me cry: “Love Story” by Erich Segal (a true classic), “Thoughtless”, “The Edge of Never”, “For a Few Demons More”, “New Moon”, “Breaking Dawn”, “Acheron”, “Collision Course”, and many more. I’m a sap. 🙂
Loved this book. I cry at everything even at the comercials. But I cried when I read thoughtless.
Of course Slammed and Point of Retreat made me cry but also Edge of Never.
I’ve read both Slammed and Point of Interest and can say it was some of the best descriptive writing I’ve read. I’m far from a young adult but enjoyed this series immensely and recommend this series to people of all ages. I would love to give copies to my 20 year-old daughter-in-law!

I never considered myself a sap but find I cry with a lot of my book choices. Most on your list ahve touched me in some way if not to the point of tears.
I loved Slammed & Point of Retreat and just recently read them both. Would absolutely love having them in my “real” book library. As far as tear-jerking, “Barely Breathing” by Rebecca Donovan is probably the closest I’ve come to crying reading a book.
I started slammed on my kindle from the sample, then went to look at the reviews and was worried I wouldn’t be able to get through it without crying, so I quit!!
I actually teared up reading “Easy”, I was surprised how much I enjoyed that book!

Anything by Kristen Ashley usually makes me cry at some point like someone stole my only barbie!! 🙂 She’s such a fabulous author and her characters are so rich and you become so invested in their stories. I also remembered being very emotional reading Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Born of Silence- Darling Cruel’s life was so heart-breaking to me that I couldn’t help myself from weeping! 🙁

The Edge of Never..I cried till my eyes were puffy, red, and almost closed up like a newborn kitten. Just barely slits so that I could still keep on reading until the final page. Then a cried some more, happy tears, of course..

I cried when Denny was beating up Kellan and accidentally kicked Kiera in Thoughtless. It is my favorite series. I also cried in Undeniable when the kids were sticking up for the poor pregnant wife, stuck at home and Deuce didn’t even care! Makes me mad!
