• Stray (Touchstone Book 1) by Andrea K. Host <— SLOW BURN SCI-FI ALERT!!! Danylle also recommends this!

Danylle: This series has the slow burn of all slow burn romances. It’s about a girl who accidentally steps through a portal into an abandoned world. She’s eventually saved by a squad of elite soldiers and taken to an occupied world. Don’t let how this book is told in diary form deter you. It gets better, I promise. It was one epic adventure. I adored this series.
