R, I have to tell you, I love The Doors and all your references to their songs is making me so happy! And Marathon in the Keys…. that’s where all my friends and I vacation in the Spring (some of them for 2 months) so I can totally visualize the location and the private island!

I just finished Uncharted and it was phenomenal! I was completely immersed in it the entire time, it’s so well written. It’s vivid and contains all of the feels….and I didn’t want it to end! I wanted more! So so good!
Hey Bev, you think Jean has a private island? Maybe a private jet that can gather us all up for a tropical vacay? 😉

THIS. BOOK. *shakes head in disbelief* This is not a typical Leslie book. This is a rip your heart out multiple times/ugly cry so much your eyes are puffy type book. It is so emotional it makes It Ends With Us look like childs play. (the story is nothing like IEWU, except the hiccuping sobs it gave me)
This is a must read for all you book masochists. Seriously guys….YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!! I don’t even like depressing books and this sucked me in.
Now it is a dual POV, but I promise you, there is no angst lost. I don’t want to say too much but this is a super powerful and emotional read. Please do a BR sometime so I can chime in on it and talk spoilers.

Last night, I finished Unruly by Cora Brent. I picked it up, wanting something fun, slightly angsty, but just feel good. I did not get that.
It freaking tore my heart out. This wasn’t slightly weepy at a certain point. This was tears falling ugly cry. I couldn’t stop. I refuse to think about parts now because I start crying all over again. *kicks a can* Stupid book!
Oh Tessa, I am feeling your pain. I couldn’t sleep last night and got out of bed at 1:30. I spent whole night reading Behind the Bars and cried MULTIPLE times. When I say “cried” I mean sobs, snots & hiccups.
*hugs* Unruly was written so that the sad part wasn’t there to shock or add “feels”. It was just a natural conclusion to what was in the book from the beginning but GAH! This one part… yeah. TEARS. I will say I want a follow-up book. I really just NEED one.
LeslieM, I read Behind the Bars and gave it 2 stars. Now is when I wish I had written a review, because I can’t remember exactly why I didn’t like it. Seem to think it was the writing and perhaps the ending?
Cheryl, I hate that! I have really bad book amnesia. I don’t want to say too much due to spoilers but I suspect it could be writing style maybe? The first half of book they are teenagers which some people might not like as well.

Today is such a tease…50 degrees and everything’s melted so it’s giving me a major spring vibe. And then tomorrow we’re supposed to get hit with a big snowstorm and back to 16-30 degrees. I’m so completely drowsy today I can’t properly enjoy it either! 🙁 Though, I’m doing my walk outdoors hopefully before dark tonight. I did my walk at the gym Tuesday and I usually do it when my daughter has swim practice, but she’s off for 2 weeks and I had to keep my routine. So, anyway, everyone passes me and usually they all have headphones on. But not this one lady, she had an actual book (not electronic) and she was still doing rounds flipping the pages. I had MAJOR envy. Lol

I FINALLY got around to listening to Cinder & Ella today. It was so good! It made me tear up in a couple places and laugh out loud in others. I’m sure if my customers looked outside they would have gotten a kick out of their mail carrier today.

Bev, I didn’t realize Scott Clifton came from GH. He is a cutie…my fave character on B&B (I am in love with his smile). I was never a big Soap watcher but got into watching B&B with my mom in nursing home. It was something I shared with her and now 4 yrs later, I still watch as sort of an ode to her. Sounds weird right? But when we BR’d Sea of Tranquillity the H watched a soap too in memory of his mom! Anyway, I love the show. I dvr it and its only 20 minutes of program when you FF commercials. Its the only thing besides news (and Outlander) that I watch.
