Just read the reviews of Entwined with You and let me tell you, they are bad. No one is happy with Sylvia Day right now….. it really makes me not even want to read it. Usually there are mostly good reviews and a few bad but it is the opposite….
You will not be disappointed with the Darkness series, it’s really good. And Cole will steal your heart.
After waiting months for Entwined With You, I was so excited when I got it. Then I took a look at those reviews, and I returned it to Amazon. I was buying the end of a trilogy, not some filler book that the author decided to stretch the series from 3 to 5, no thanks.
I did read Fire Inside overnight, Kristen Ashley does it again!! Love!! Great book!
I am so scared about Entwined With You. I love Gideon and have been looking forward to this book for months, but the reviews are terrible!
I finished reading entwined with you in the first six hours that I got it. SO GOOD, but also not very happy with the author now because, well…. you’ll see when you read it. But its exciting, and i kept wanting more and more!
I’ll think I’ll wait for your review Maryse, before I read Entwined in You. After reading the amazon reviews I am afraid this book is going to be a major let down. I don’t even know what to think right now.
I am so disappointed in entwined with you I got to 40% then gave up I loved the first two books but in this one Eva just annoyed the hell out of me I also went into this book thinking it was a trilogy. From what I read there was just no real story in there so I returned it I had such high hopes too 🙁
Bought entwined to you and now is returning. Not worth the time or money. I mean come on! how can a ebook cost more then the actual book!!!
Wow gotta say I am shocked at the disappointment for Entwined with you. Haven’t got it yet but was super excited for it’s release. I will give it a chance because I loved the first two…..but I may read Fire Inside first 😉 those motorcycle men get me every time.

Wow…..very scary! I think all of us were excited for this release. I did buy it and will read it, but now at least my expectations are low…..
Entwined With You has jumped the shark. Totally over it. Was wondering how she would stretch the story for book three but was excited to finish the series. No interest in another two after this one. Definitely not buying it, will wait for it to get to the library so I can read it for free.

Well, I notice other readers feel the same as I do, VERY disappointed in Entwined With You. I thought it was the end. Nothing at all happened. Nothing. I actually pre-bought it & got up early to read it. I read & read, thinking “surely something is gonna happen soon”. Nothing. A waste. Now we have to wait another 6-8 months for another? It almost seemed as if she was plagiarizing her own work, the situations were the exact same, words the same as the first 2 books.
I returned too after reading the reviews. I would rather wait and read when the entire series is out. I’m kind of done with the waiting a long time for sequels. I get why they exist, but for me its better to wait and read when all. The books are out or there is a reasonably short scheduled release dates.
Also, did anyone else notice the over abundance of sex in Entwined With You? 2-4 times every chapter. Really?!?! I’m all for some good sex scenes but come on!!! It’s ALL they did, all the time. Maybe they should see if Dr.Peterson treats sex addicts in book 4.
I saw the ebook price and immediately said, “Nuuuuh ugh!” I bought the paperback and its already on its way. If it wasn’t I would just return it and wait until the next books are out. I hate the story being drawn out when I wasn’t expecting it. So disappointing. On a brighter note, Kristen Ashley! Yay!

I’m 60 % in entwined with you …. I love Sylvia Days’ work but I feel like she’s slowing the story out. Although a lot of questions regarding events that happened during previous books are answered. All in all Sylvia is a great writer and even though the story isn’t progressing at the speed that I was expecting I’m enjoying it you get a better emotional feel for the characters.
Gah! I’m just coming home from a meeting (late day) so I haven’t even started it. I’ll be home soon. 🙂
I really enjoyed EWY. I honestly don’t understand the negativity. And as far as the price, still cheaper than seeing a movie where I’m from. And more entertaining in a lot of ways. Worth every penny.
I’m almost halfway through EWY and so far so good. Anyway ladies, if you want a SMART, SEXY, AND FUNNY READ I highly recommend TANGLED BY EMMA CHASE! It’s like Wallbanger meets Beautiful Bastard. I laughed my arse off from first to last page! And I had to highlight almost every page, ALMOST! I’ve not yet enjoyed reading a book in a guy’s pov until this one. It’s just too good not to share! Take it from someone who had an all-nighter yet opted to read and finished the book! 🙂

Wow. I just finished Gideon part 3 and thought it was pretty good. I didn’t realize for sure it wasn’t the end until about 90% but I’m kind of glad everything wasn’t just wrapped up with an epilogue or something. I’m not too disappointed except that now we have to wait, again, and honestly I think waiting so long took away some of my enthusiasm for the series. And I would agree that there were a ton of steamy scenes, which seemed a little unnecessary at times but when you think about what was going on and the fact that that is how they connect and reassure each other, I think it makes sense.
Even though the plot wasn’t as fast paced as we are used to, I think Sylvia Day is really taking her time with their character development since it hasn’t been that long since they got together. Anyway, I guess I’m kind of glad it isn’t over and I’m definitely looking forward to your review, Maryse!
I just finished reading Fire Inside by Kristen Ashley, and it was really good. I love her alpha men! If anyone is looking for a really great book, I read Beautiful Broken Rules by Kimberly Lauren a few days ago, and it was one of the best books I’ve read so far this year. It was 5+ stars for me. It gave me the same feeling that I had while reading Beautiful Disaster. It has a completely different storyline from BD, but it was just as great!
I read “Extinguish” by J. M. Darhower and i LOVED it ! I cried like a baby at the end ! It’s the first paranormal book for this author and she totally rules !
The H reminds me of Carmine of course – olive skin, dark hair, cocky smile, bad attitude.
I like it when the characters don’t fall in love at first sight in the beginning of the book. Here they don’t like each other and then they just deal with their situation but of course love is in the air…
Small read, so I really hope there is going to be a sequel, I need more Luce and Serah

Also wanted to mention that I read “Falling Deep” by Ola Wegner and found it fascinating. Its about a mafia romance, the hero is a stalker, alpha male who falls hard for his nurse. Give it a try, I think this author is going somewhere.
I’ve read the 1st two books of the crossfire series in the last 2 days, I’ve held off reading this series cause I’m not a huge fan of cliffhangers! Now I hear that there will be another two books it makes me not want to read the 3rd one! Maryse I’m going to wait for your trusted review before paying the hefty £3.99 price! Reading the first two books made me miss a certain sexy billionaire so I’m going to dust off my 50 shades books and get me some Christian grey action!! 🙂 xx

i’m sorry but i just finished in entwined with u and was totally disappointed, that it did not end, there is no reason a story can’t be told in 3 books and for the price it should be, from now on i’ll do more homework to see how many books before i start a story…. 🙁
I read EWU and it was ok. I really just want a nice tidy HEA not a 4th book at 9.99. I will agree with some of the other responses, not much moving forward with the story, which is a shame since I loved it so much. On a much brighter note, I just finished KA’s book Fire Inside and it was fantastic. Loved it! I’m already mad that I don’t have another KA book read this summer.
Everyone stop what you’re doing right now and read Tattoos by Denise Mathew. Wow. What and incredible story. 5+ stars. Totally amazing! Read it, read it now!
Okay, so I am like 79% through and I have to say that I am loving EWY. Yes, a lot of the same, but I SO LOVE Gideon that I just can’t let it go and now I am excited for two more books (although I haven’t reached this cliffhanger end yet!).
Maryse – how could you have only read 50 one time?!? That is just craziness to me. Christian is definitely my leading man in all of these books…even with all 50 shades of effed up!

I have to vent though… I just wrapped up Entwined With You- Sylvia Day… I have been holding out for this book for MONTHS!! I expected so much more! Don’t get me wrong, I actually am still in love with the characters and the series but this book left me longing and not in a good way. The Characters emotionally haven’t developed much at all since the last book and it seriously leaves you hanging without even attempting to tie up various story lines that come into play… Don’t get me wrong i STILL love love the series and would still read the book 100% I’m just a little disappointed, especially now made to wait for I don’t know how long with no “ahhhh” to tie me over… Phew anyway sorry I feel better now though 🙂

I just finished a book by a new author this weekend that came out on June 4th. It was so good and gave me that “feeling” that you have mentioned out about books you love. It’s by KJ Bell and it’s called Irreparably Broken – you won’t be disappointed!

I have to agree with the two above comments. I thought Entwined was pretty good. Of course I read all 3 books back to back so it seemed like one long book so wasn’t disappointed liked I probably would have been
