in Latest Book Releases

HAPPY NEW RELEASE DAY!! YAY!!! It’s ready. :D

Many new preciousssssses in this one, that I’m about to point out, and a few super-recommendations that sound irresistible. In fact, the one I’m reading now (Wrong) had me giggling by the blurb alone upon it’s release a week or so ago, and the recommendations coming my way had me one clicking so fast, even if it wasn’t on my latest TBR list. I know… I’m SO BAD!!! :P I LOVE surprise book-finds! And if you missed yesterday’s “early-releases” post, here it is: Marvelous Monday – 22 Early Bird Book Releases

Which ones are giving me blurb jolts, today? Hate to Love You (Love/Hate Book 1) and it’s recent release sequel Love To Hate You ’cause Kristy said surprise twists and angst that she didn’t see coming. YAY ME!! The Girl With All the Gifts (that blurb gave me chills), See Me sounds like it will be an epic emotional journey and love story, Endless Possibility (HIS POV from that “part” in book #1 *squeeee*!!), Betrayal (by Aleatha Romig and sounds like it might be “Arsen-like” but that blurb has me questioning my understanding of it), Hard to Break (sounds like cocky alpha-male fun!)

Which ones look good to you? AND!! Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere). :D

OH AND! If you’re wondering about the yumminess of the latest Kindle Fire, 7″ Display, Wi-Fi, 8 GB – Includes Special Offers, Black release, I have a fellow reader that loves it so much that she posted about it and why she thinks it rocks, on our Facebook, so I thought I’d share it here, too:

Tracey: Doing a happy dance just discovered that the new kindle fire has a collections feature ….I can sort all my books in my Library now without having to download any apps

Stephanie: Which Fire did you get?

Tracey: The new $50 kindle fire …..only fault so far it docent have a pound sign on its keyboard

Stephanie : Does it have the “Text-To-Speech” option where an automated voice reads your eBook?

Tracey: Yes it does, another thing Im missing is the automatic brightness but so far so good Im really liking it. Another good thing about this new fire is when you start a new book it gives you the option to read the blurb….handy if its a book you downloaded a while back and you can’t remember what its about.

Maryse’s Book Blog: Tracey, is it the new Kindle Fire? Oops! I just saw your answer. LOL! YAY!! Thank you!

Tracey: Yes its really quite a little gem of a tablet , as yet haven’t needed too expand the storage (its got 8gb which in reality once you have it up and running is more like 4.5gb) but have ordered an extra 32gb memory card just in case.

P.P.S. Don’t have a Kindle? No problem! Amazon offers various free Kindle apps and a free Kindle Cloud reader for any and ALL of us to use. You can either use the free Kindle App for your smartphone, tablet, AND your desktop computer (just like you’re using a Kindle, but right through your web browser <— No need to download anything! :D )

For those going on a road trip soon, or maybe you’ve got some projects that require both hands this weekend but still allows you to “listen”… check out the free audible trial + 2 free ebooks deal —>

  • AND! Here’s the fun-tool again! —> Find out which of YOUR Kindle books are available as audiobooks at a BARGAIN-PRICE! <— This thing is so cool (Amazon calls it “Matchmaker“)! It’s an Amazon feature, that scans your Kindle books and will list all of the ones you have that are also available as an audiobook at a discounted price (not normal audiobook prices). This way, you can switch back and forth, seamlessly between your ebooks and your audiobooks. VERY COOL!

BARGAINS & READER RECOMMENDATIONS (NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order).

  1. The Shortstop by A.M. Madden <— Lauren found us this one!! A.M. Madden. That’s the one with all the 5-star reviews that everyone was going crazy over a few months ago.
  2. The Ground Rules by Roya Carmen <— and Lauren found us this one too!!! One of my favorites! “The Ground Rules by Roya Carmen. Yikes!!! I’m gonna read it, still scared though.” (my review)
  3. Look at one that Nancy just found us!! “Sounds like our kinda book! …Bargain Book: Beautifully Insighful by K.C. Lynn is now 99 cents. This looks good & standalone novel.”
  4. Ghost on the lake by Alex Alexander <— Deborah loved it “I think you would really enjoy a recent paranormal mystery from Alex Alexander, called ‘Ghost on the Lake’. I had never read anything quite like this one before and the writing was excellent. It some some pretty dark and disturbing themes that creeped me right out but I just couldn’t put it down. One of the most original and well written books of it’s genre that I have read in many years. I would love to read what you thought about this one.
  5. Love To Hate You (Love/Hate Book 2) by Isabelle Richards <— SPORTS STAR ALERT & Kristy LOVES THESE TWO books like crazy!! “Hey Maryse! Just finished Love To Hate You by Isabelle Richard, it’s the sequel to Hate to Love You. It was excellent… how excellent? Well I was wide awake after finishing and stared at my wall for an hour running through the whole book while some random movie I had put on played in the back ground. I loved book one as well but had a major cliff hanger that somehow I didnt see coming even though it was so obvious. As I was reading book 2 I was shocked and disappointed with how quickly things were resolved… should’ve known better. Excellent twists and angst. So so good. 4.5 stars for both. no cliffy at the end of book two but there is a novella coming out in december I believe”
  6. Hate to Love You (Love/Hate Book 1)  by Isabelle Richards <— And here’s book #1!!
  7. Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta <— THIS ONE MADE bev CRY!!! “I seem to have started another book, Jellicoe Road, that’s going to have a lot of questions and a mystery to piece together. It was a little jarring in the first few pages, as the reader is just thrown in. Definitely no over explaining by the author. But I think I’m in, hooked. This heroine is so very very prickly. Lots of armor to protect a lot of hurt.” and then… “I can’t stop thinking about Jellicoe Road. Fabi, stop me from reading these books that make me cry.”
  8. Caught Up In Us (Caught Up in Love Book 1) by Lauren Blakely <— Nancy found us this whole series on sale!! :D “All the books in the CAUGHT UP IN LOVE series by Lauren Blakely are now 99 cents”
  9. Secrets (Russkaya Mafiya Book 1) by Sapphire Knight <— MAFIA ROMANCE ALERT!! Lauren found us these!! “Sapphire Knight’s Russkaya Mafiya series is on super sale….each book (1-4).”
  10. The Girl With All the Gifts by M. R. Carey <— DYSTOPIAN THRILLER READ ALERT!! While not on sale, OMG that BLURB!!! I feel like reading it so bad, as my next “scary-for-October” read. :D I mean just check out this blurb!! “NOT EVERY GIFT IS A BLESSING. Melanie is a very special girl. Dr Caldwell calls her “our little genius.” Every morning, Melanie waits in her cell to be collected for class. When they come for her, Sergeant keeps his gun pointing at her while two of his people strap her into the wheelchair. She thinks they don’t like her. She jokes that she won’t bite, but they don’t laugh.  The Girl With All the Gifts is a groundbreaking thriller, emotionally charged and gripping from beginning to end.”
  11. Chasing The Dragon (Deception Duet Book 1) by T.K. Leigh <— Book #2 was just released below and has TONS of great reviews! “Mackenzie Delano craves control. After tragedy strikes during her freshman year of college, she compensates for the helplessness she felt by micro-managing every aspect of her life, from her business life to her social life…to her love life. But she wasn’t expecting to cross paths with a mysterious man who seems to invade her every thought.”
  12. Complicate Me: The Good Ol’ Boys (Volume 1) by M. Robinson <— MUCH LOVED BY ROBYN! “I have to share a book I just finished and it left me squirly and not being able to stop thinking about it. It’s M Robinsons new book Complicate Me (The Good Ol Boys). It’s full of angst and unrequited love. Our favorite! Alexandra has known these 4 boys basically since birth. As they grow up together her bond with Lucas gets stronger and of course they love each other. They have to deny this love because the rest of the boys and their parents don’t want them together. They go through their trials and tribulations throughout their lives until they finally realize the can’t not be together! I fell in love with Alex and her Boys and can’t wait for the next boy, Jacobs book!”
  13. Fighting to Forget (The Fighting Series Book 3) by J.B. Salsbury <— MMA FIGHTER and it’s only 0.9 cents right now!! Melinda can’t get it out of her head! “The fighting series you can’t go past. Fighting to forget great read, ever since I read this I can’t get it out of my head. All the broken people in this series could it be possible. All the emotions this book brings out, it’s traumatising. But there’s hope as well. I really enjoyed this book. Definitely needs to be on your Tbr page.” and Carol agrees: “Just finished reading Fighting to Forget! Phenomenal. Loved it. Can’t wait for the next one!” Lori too! “I’m in the middle of Fighting to Forget right now, it’s a really good, though tough read.”

I’m picking up Complicate Me by M Robinson at a book signing event in Melbourne. Sounds good.

Question for people that have attended book signing events, what do you get authors to write in your books? Are they just signing their name or do you get them to write a message and if so, like what? I know this sounds strange but I had an author ask me what message I wanted her to put in the book she is sending me and I have no idea.
Anyway, the event should be good 65 authors – Abbi Glines, CD Reiss, Pepper winters, Callie Hart, Lili St Germain and so many other great authors from my reading list.

Maryse October 13, 2015 at 5:19 PM

Depending on the length of the lines of people waiting behind you, many authors will often just personalize the book signed to you, and may include one of their favorite quotes from the book.

But some will come up with something on the spot, and some may accommodate you requesting a special message.

I would “expect” more a personalized signed book, and *maybe* a quote of their choosing. I hope this helps!

Tessa October 13, 2015 at 6:35 PM

Ela, I’m reading Perfect by JC Mells. It’s the fourth book in the Pierced series. I’m going to warn you, not much in the way of the steam, just a super slow burn of tension. However, Amy promised tile breaking steam in this book. lol Honestly, the character alone is worth reading for me. She’s awesome.

bev October 13, 2015 at 7:12 PM

The Girl with all the Gifts. I keep seeing that on BookRiot. Looks really good.

Anne October 13, 2015 at 7:30 PM

Just finished Suite 269 and it was ok. I had a good time but it wasn’t amazing. 3.25/5 for me.

Dont know what to read next if Pure Abandon or Betrayal.

Maryse October 13, 2015 at 9:35 PM

Anne!!! I want to read Pure Abandon SO bad now…

Jennifer October 13, 2015 at 10:35 PM

New Ella Frank m/m and vampires….?! Automatic one click for me. BUT I’m on the 3rd book in the Pierced series…Pinked. (Amy…what used to be the 1.5 novella is now considered the second in the series). Tessa is right it’s a sloooooow burn but Loving Pink’s point of view and trying to wrap his mind around his bonding pull to Pierce. Love the humor and quirkiness of this series but definitely looking forward to the tile-splitting passion Amy promised in Perfect! Heehee

Anne October 13, 2015 at 11:47 PM

Maryse I am starting Pure Abandon now :) So excited!!

Niki October 14, 2015 at 2:40 AM

I’m reading Lev and really enjoying it so far!!!

Love the Pierced Series!!!

Cheryl October 14, 2015 at 7:41 AM

I LOVED Pure Abandon and The Shortstop! :)

One-clicked The Ground Rules, but still think I’m waiting till complete to start it.

One-clicking: Hate to Love you,and Betrayal. Still have to catch up on the Ivy Years series and want to read Breaking Him, but gonna wait for book 2 before starting it.

carlotta October 14, 2015 at 7:58 AM

Ela yes there’s a cliffy. I usually expect that the second book is live buuut in this case I make an exception!and….I don’t know..I can say that I saw how was going to end! I can’t say more if you wanna read Breaking Him( do it do it do it!!! so we can talk about!!! )

carlotta October 14, 2015 at 8:01 AM

So now that I finish Breaking Him…what can I read? I start “Everything I Left Unsaid” but I interrupted it because the story and the characters don’t work for me…any suggestions??? :)

Ela October 14, 2015 at 9:17 AM

I just can’t read a book with a cliffy :( I found myself with not reading the sequels because I forgot what the first book was about and I can’t be bothered with re-reading when I have almost 3,000 books on my TBR…

Fabi October 14, 2015 at 9:21 AM

Ela, I feel exactly the same way. Plus, I feel cheated when I don’t get an ending to a book I’ve read.

Ela October 14, 2015 at 9:38 AM

So I’m reading Ivory by Hadley Quinn and it’s from his POV but I feel like I’m reading a girl tell the story. Anyone else read this book and felt the same or is it me???

Ela October 14, 2015 at 9:44 AM

Oh Fabi I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I have read so many books with sequels that I never went back to…

Beverly A. October 14, 2015 at 10:01 AM

I freakin LOVED the new book Lev by Belle Aurora. She is one of my favorite authors. Her books are like a breath of fresh air. It’s a standalone, but I am pretty sure she is going to continue the series with other characters from the book, and I can’t wait! :)

Jean October 14, 2015 at 10:18 AM

Great list! I loved Pure Abandon too Anne! Maryse, you really need to read it ASAP!

I really think I need to wait for the 2nd RK Lilley book…..i can’t take another cliffhanger!

I’m reading a book from a list here a while ago……Into the Storm by Melanie Moreland….and I’m really liking it!

Eli Constant October 14, 2015 at 10:51 AM

Ohhh! These look awesome!!

I read an ARC of one that came out today–Twisted Magic (Raven’s Cove Book One) by Claire C Riley and it is awesome! Steamy, dark, romantic, and witchy!

carlotta October 14, 2015 at 11:43 AM

Yeah…I understand Ela! Sometimes happens to me the same thing!Annnd also happens to me, when I read a book really exciting, that I can’t find another one that I love it! me so sad :(

Amy October 14, 2015 at 1:17 PM

I know I said I was going to read nothing but creepy/spooky/horror books this month, but since when do I stick with my reading vows? :P

Soooo, that being said…I’m giving in and reading Pure Abandon!! Angst with no CH and an Arsen feel, plus it’s getting all kinds of love around here? Oh HECK YEAH!!! Starting it later this afternoon.

Tessa…was that where he told her about the “moments?” *swooooooooon* Love that guy. *props hand in chin and sighs*

Anne October 14, 2015 at 2:15 PM

Loving Pure Abandon and Alexander Asher *swoon*

“I like control. And more than that, I like people thinking they hold the power when I was the one holding the strings all along”

Cheryl October 14, 2015 at 2:31 PM

Started reading Hate To Love You. Sports stars, twists and angst–oh yeh!!:)

Tessa October 14, 2015 at 2:44 PM

I had to go straight into Napoleon. I want to adopt him, he’s so sweet. I’m not a fan of M/M books, but this one is so sweet, especially because it is Napoleon.

Amy, yes! Moments. OMG, that stole my heart so much, even more than the tile breaking. It was so romantic.

Jean October 14, 2015 at 2:47 PM

Yay Amy! Anne, I am seriously in love with Alexander Asher!

Ela October 14, 2015 at 2:54 PM

Amy October 14, 2015 at 3:17 PM

Cheryl…is that the first or second book? I know there is Hate to Love You and Love to Hate You but don’t know the order or if it’s complete. And I’m on my phone so I’m too lazy to look it up right now. :P

Yep Jean, I figured if it was a Jean book then it would most likely be an Amy book…Now to see if it’s a Maryse book!!

Jean October 14, 2015 at 3:28 PM

Is Maryse reading it?!?!?! I hope so…..can’t wait to see if you guys love it as much as I did!

On another note, I am loving Into the Storm…..can’t put it down!

Amy October 14, 2015 at 3:59 PM

Hmmmm, I’m not sure if she is reading it or not. I know she said she wants to…

Grey October 14, 2015 at 4:04 PM

Amy, I may ask to borrow Pure Abandon after I am done with Betrayal if you give it a good review LOL!

Betrayal… I didn’t get very far yesterday before things went nuts around here… I have plans tonight. *rubs hands together* Sets clocks ahead an hour so the kids go to bed earlier LOL!

Fabi October 14, 2015 at 4:11 PM

sneaky Mommy tricks :-O

Ela October 14, 2015 at 4:39 PM

Started Lev and LOVING IT!

Tessa October 14, 2015 at 4:43 PM

Finished Napoleon. It was short, so nope, not really fast. Now for If He Had Been with Me by Laura Nowlin. Amy, this book is going to hurt, huh? Chapter 7 and I can tell I’m going to be ugly crying. Good writing, and it has sucked me in already. (Really short chapters. Again, not fast. :P ) *shivers in fear of the UGLY CRY*

Cheryl October 14, 2015 at 6:00 PM

Amy, it’s the first book. I believe it is basically complete. There is a novella coming out in December, but I think that is more like an extended epilogue, not that the second book ends in a CH. Haven’t gotten to read too much today, but so far the little bit I have read has captured my attention!! ;)

I LOVED Pure Abandon, but it didn’t “gut-kick” me as hard as Arsen, although Asher and Arsen have many similarities.

Amy October 14, 2015 at 6:08 PM

LOL Grey!! When you were a teenager, did you ever set your watch back or stop it altogether as an excuse as to why you missed curfew? *snicker* Yeah, neither did I. :P

Tessa…I didn’t really ugly cry, it was more like I was teary-eyed and sniffling and my tummy hurt and I felt like a sledgehammer had slammed into my chest. And I loved every second of it. ;) I remember growing so attached to the story and her life that I did NOT want to leave it when the story ended, even though it did feel complete. *sigh* Finny, you sweet boy…

Amy October 14, 2015 at 6:10 PM

Asher and Arsen have similarities? Oh lord, I’m in trouble. *shakes head*

Anne October 14, 2015 at 7:42 PM

Finished Pure Abandon and loved it! I am seriously in love with Alex. He is just perfect! Can’t wait for Reckless Abandon. Less than 2 weeks to go :)

Tessa October 15, 2015 at 12:28 AM

*steals Manny and hides in her blankie fort* UGLY CRY!

Tessa October 15, 2015 at 12:50 AM

Okay why do I always ugly cry when no one’s around? This is a bad habit of mine.

Michelle October 15, 2015 at 5:48 AM

Yes more people reading Pure Abandon and loving it :D I’m very excited about the next book too!

Ela October 15, 2015 at 8:24 AM

Jean October 15, 2015 at 9:03 AM

I was just thinking I’m going to leave a comment on here screaming like Ela does and you are already screaming! Lol! I’ll definitely be checking out Lev!

First line Thursday: Prologue: The snow swirled around wildly in the fierce wind. Chapter 1: Shutting the door behind me, I looked around. (Into the Storm)

I have sucky first-line-itis! May have caught it from Tessa! Ha! Seriously these lines do the book no justice! It’s awesome!

Ela October 15, 2015 at 9:14 AM

Yep my caps are to indicate how much I’m loving Lev….I already had tears in my eyes, laughed hard, and my tummy knotted!!!!!!!!!!! The heroine is just awesome sauce and Lev is a HAWT damaged Russian alpha male to drool for ;)

Ela October 15, 2015 at 9:17 AM

“I was dying.” Lev by Belle Aurora

Jean October 15, 2015 at 9:48 AM

Great first line Ela! I’m on it! Getting Lev now!

fabi October 15, 2015 at 10:21 AM

First line Thursday :-)
6,000,000,000 A.D. The Oort Cloud Torris, son of Parn the Facemaker, sat a little apart from the other initiates who were waiting for their turns with Claz the Priest.
Children of the Comett by Donald Moffitt

fabi October 15, 2015 at 10:22 AM

Ela October 15, 2015 at 10:25 AM

Fabi! Now that’s a mouthful :)

Anne October 15, 2015 at 12:14 PM

Ela I am reading Lev and loving it too! I wish next book is about Sasha. I just think he is so sexy!

Tessa October 15, 2015 at 12:19 PM

Alright, boring-i-tis strikes again. It’s a great and engrossing book, but first line and all.

‘He was here.’
Breaking Him by RK Lilley

Ela October 15, 2015 at 1:17 PM

Oh Anne!!!!! Me too, he seems like such an Alpha jerk-face!!!! We kinda know where Nas is heading or at least I think we know, kinda.

Tessa, that is a very exciting first line. Not touching that book until I have the sequel…

Michelle October 15, 2015 at 3:21 PM

“It was a dumb thing to do but it wasn’t that dumb.” Sunshine by Robin McKinley

Weird book so far and grammatically convoluted but it has enough going for it that I will finish.

Jean, I have Into the Storm and Beneath the Scars both high on my tbr for a while now but keep passing them over. Now I need to get to them sooner!

Tessa, I forget, but did you read The Affiliate? Was it good? I might try that one next. I have Defy and Red Queen too – which one was best? I need a really good read next.

Tessa October 15, 2015 at 3:21 PM

Hehehe I’m one of the few that don’t mind a cliffy. When I’m done, I’ll tell you all how good it was, then you all can say, not until book two. :D

Tessa October 15, 2015 at 3:23 PM

Oooh. Michelle, yes, it was good. Of those three, it’s hard to say but I think I liked Red Queen the most. That’s a really, really tight race, though. All three were awesome.

Amy October 15, 2015 at 3:27 PM

“I’m standing on a corner in the rain.” ~ Pure Abandon by Jeannine Colette

I’m not very far into it since RL has been a big old b!tch the last few days, but I’m looking forward to some nice, distracting drama when I’m able to sit down for more than 15 minutes!

I really do like this Thursday ritual that Bev started…sometimes the first lines crack me up, and other times it’s the reactions to first lines that crack me up. ;)

Amy October 15, 2015 at 3:34 PM

Jean, who is the author? I found at least 20 books – not kidding – with the same title when I looked it up on Amazon.

Oh crap, Tessa…you ugly cried? And you had to do it alone because of a book *I* recommended? *cringes and hands glass of wine to Tessa* Sorry sweetpea. But what are your overall thoughts on it? I swear I get a lump in my throat when I think about it, especially that really short chapter that was…er…at the one-year mark. Know which one I’m talking about? Freaking hauntingly gut twisting. :(

Jean October 15, 2015 at 3:35 PM

Haha Tessa….that line did suck! But I’m a little jealous that you are reading it. You’ll let us know how bad of a CH it is please! I don’t know if I can wait for book 2…just love RK Lilley so much!

Oh shoot Michelle, is Beneath the Scars a continuation or part of a series?!?! Damn, thought Into the Storm was a standalone (and still hoping it is)! Oh double damn, I just checked and I have Beneath the Scars already downloaded too. Ok at least I’m ready in either case scenario!

Jean October 15, 2015 at 3:36 PM

And where the heck has Maryse been and what is she reading? She’s been awfully quiet…….

Jean October 15, 2015 at 3:37 PM

Amy, Melanie Moreland.

Michelle October 15, 2015 at 4:04 PM

No Jean I believe they are both standalone…just both books by her that I got since I heard they were great…haha didn’t mean to cause a freak out ;)

Ok Tessa Red Queen it is next! I will get to them all eventually but I’m in the mood for that type of read.

Heart breaks a little thinking about that corner and that rain and that man…

Ela October 15, 2015 at 4:05 PM

Ela October 15, 2015 at 4:07 PM

*panicking* what’s next??????????????

Tessa October 15, 2015 at 4:13 PM

That was my gut wrencher! Chapter 86 right? I was sobbing, but then, UGLY CRY. The emotions in that chapter killed me. *Takes wine for later* Little dude will be home soon. :) After, I read a little novella with Moused in it, and that cheered me up.

Finished Breaking Him. Yes, it ended on an incomplete note. Not as bad as T and D. Just, book done, unanswered questions, enjoy. *sighs* Yet I loved it so much. I’m invested big time. My heart aches for her. She’s such a character to adore and he is too, but MAN, my heart aches big time.

Tessa October 15, 2015 at 4:14 PM

Oh, and to get an idea, I’m reading the “chapters of the next book” even though I never do because, yeah, it was that good.

Amy October 15, 2015 at 5:03 PM

Tessa, I had to look it up…it was chapter 47 that was haunting and chilling for me. :? But yes, 86 was HEARTBREAKING. As if our hearts weren’t already there. Gah, that book!

Speaking of Maryse not being around lately, y’all ever feel like we are hanging out at her “home” when she’s not there? *snicker* I have an uncle who had a “party” house, and people he worked with would go there to drink and hang out even when he was working the night shift, LOL! It reminds me of us here. ;)

Amy October 15, 2015 at 5:04 PM

*sigh* I may just give in and read Breaking Him before the next book is out.

Cheryl October 15, 2015 at 5:45 PM

Ugh, horrible first line so I cheated and added a little more. ;)

“Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock. Damn! A freaking scuff on my Manolos.” Hate to Love You by Isabelle Richards.

Loving it!!

Cheryl October 15, 2015 at 5:47 PM

Nope. Not. Gonna. Waiting for sequel to Breaking Him. . Every time I tell myself I can deal with a CH and wait- I’m WRONG!!

Maryse October 15, 2015 at 6:17 PM

You guys!!!!

My sister is here so we’re being GIGGLY sisters. That’s why. :D

Maryse October 15, 2015 at 6:18 PM

P.S. You guys can hang out at my “home” any time you want to. :D

Maryse October 15, 2015 at 6:20 PM

P.P.S. This weekends Saturday Reader Favorite list will be TWO of ‘em. One of our group’s and one from my sister!!! :D

fabi October 15, 2015 at 6:27 PM

Eeek! I can’t wait to see it.

Tessa October 15, 2015 at 6:35 PM

Thanksgiving one being good to you then? :) Good sisters are always fun. Also, yeah for two lists! That’ll be fun.

:D I said I don’t mind a good cliffhanger, as long as it makes sense. This one made sense. I think I know why what happened did, but it still hurt.

Maryse October 15, 2015 at 8:24 PM

GAH! I should totally read Pure Abandon NOW.

bev October 15, 2015 at 9:30 PM

No you shouldn’t.
But you know what one you should read?

bev October 15, 2015 at 9:33 PM

Ok. That’s the last time…..this month.
Unless you mention wolves, ponies, or mail.
Anyone reading a Halloween book this weekend?

Anne October 15, 2015 at 10:33 PM

Ela I am half way through Lev and loving it!! He is so amazing. And Mina rocks! Don’t want this book to end!

Amy October 16, 2015 at 1:16 AM

*sets down Pure Abandon*

*covers face with pillow*

*kicks feet and screeches*

Alright…now that THAT’S out of the way, I can continue.

*picks up Pure Abandon again*

Jean October 16, 2015 at 6:42 AM

Sounds like you are loving it then Amy? Lol

Maryse have fun with your sis! Can’t wait to see the lists! And yes, you should read Pure Abandon NOW! (Sorry bev).

Ela October 16, 2015 at 7:08 AM

Anne! Isn’t it just a wonderful book and the characters are just so relatable and rock! She is one of my fave authors!

Ela October 16, 2015 at 8:58 AM

I’m starting My Masters’ Nightmare Season 1, Ep. 1 “Taken” (My Masters’ Nightmare #1.1) by Marita A. Hansen and I’m a little worried it may be a tad too dark???

Anyone wanna BR????

D.B. Sieders November 9, 2015 at 4:01 PM

Thanks for the release day shout out!

I’m going through the rest of the list to find my next great romance read. I’m thrilled to have discovered Marjorie Liu’s Dirk and Steele through your awesome site. You rock!
