Ghost on the lake by Alex Alexander <— Deborah loved it “I think you would really enjoy a recent paranormal mystery from Alex Alexander, called ‘Ghost on the Lake’. I had never read anything quite like this one before and the writing was excellent. It some some pretty dark and disturbing themes that creeped me right out but I just couldn’t put it down. One of the most original and well written books of it’s genre that I have read in many years. I would love to read what you thought about this one.“
5. Love To Hate You (Love/Hate Book 2) by Isabelle Richards <— SPORTS STAR ALERT & Kristy LOVES THESE TWO books like crazy!! “Hey Maryse! Just finished Love To Hate You by Isabelle Richard, it’s the sequel to Hate to Love You. It was excellent… how excellent? Well I was wide awake after finishing and stared at my wall for an hour running through the whole book while some random movie I had put on played in the back ground. I loved book one as well but had a major cliff hanger that somehow I didnt see coming even though it was so obvious. As I was reading book 2 I was shocked and disappointed with how quickly things were resolved… should’ve known better. Excellent twists and angst. So so good. 4.5 stars for both. no cliffy at the end of book two but there is a novella coming out in december I believe”

Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta <— THIS ONE MADE bev CRY!!! “I seem to have started another book, Jellicoe Road, that’s going to have a lot of questions and a mystery to piece together. It was a little jarring in the first few pages, as the reader is just thrown in. Definitely no over explaining by the author. But I think I’m in, hooked. This heroine is so very very prickly. Lots of armor to protect a lot of hurt.” and then… “I can’t stop thinking about Jellicoe Road. Fabi, stop me from reading these books that make me cry.”

10. The Girl With All the Gifts by M. R. Carey <— DYSTOPIAN THRILLER READ ALERT!! While not on sale, OMG that BLURB!!! I feel like reading it so bad, as my next “scary-for-October” read. 😀 I mean just check out this blurb!! “NOT EVERY GIFT IS A BLESSING. Melanie is a very special girl. It’s M Robinsons new book Complicate Me (The Good Ol Boys). It’s full of angst and unrequited love. Our favorite! Alexandra has known these 4 boys basically since birth. As they grow up together her bond with Lucas gets stronger and of course they love each other. They have to deny this love because the rest of the boys and their parents don’t want them together. They go through their trials and tribulations throughout their lives until they finally realize the can’t not be together! I fell in love with Alex and her Boys and can’t wait for the next boy, Jacobs book!”
13. Fighting to Forget (The Fighting Series Book 3) by J.B. Salsbury <— MMA FIGHTER and it’s only 0.9 cents right now!! Melinda can’t get it out of her head! “The fighting series you can’t go past. Fighting to forget great read, ever since I read this I can’t get it out of my head. All the broken people in this series could it be possible. All the emotions this book brings out, it’s traumatising. But there’s hope as well. I really enjoyed this book.
