What is a Sous Vide cooker?
I fell asleep thinking about that first chapter and woke up doing the same. Hoping for a slow day at work so I can continue digging into AYP! If not, it’s going to be a laaaaaaaate night for me. 😉
Today I also need to focus on home cleaning/improvement stuff on Prime. I’m all ears if anyone finds anything tempting!
bev, I’ve never used a sous vide cooker (it’s something about putting food in a bag and then cooking it in water or steam) but I have had the sous vide egg bites from Starbucks and HOLY MOLY!!! They. Are. Amazing. The texture is incredible and nothing like regular egg bites or scrambled eggs or anything else I’ve ever tasted.
Not sure if I’m brave enough to attempt sous vide cooking myself though…
Do I want an Instant Pot???
bev I think it’s a vacuum sealer type thingie that slowly/gently cooks your food in water…

Bev, it depends on my moods. I can be. Right now, I’m into what’s called World vs World on Guild Wars 2. It’s basically your “world”, which is whatever server you are on, vs other “worlds”. It’s a lot of strategy, luck, and well, whatever is the “oops, that skill is suddenly too powerful” involved. Mostly strategy, which our guild leader loves. Oh and deaths. LOTS of death.
That’s cool and that you still read so much. There is a cute C drama called Love O2O where the leads are gamers.

It’s hard in any marriage, but they have a huge additional stress as a couple that is so painful, you know it’s tearing them apart in more ways than one. But Maybe!! See how happy I am that I didn’t buy AYP. That sounds intense and Shiver was intense enough for me. Oh, and a total 5 star. AND! The hints were there and I didn’t guess the bad guy!!!!! That’s always a thrill. 😀 Mostly, though, the storytelling and real feel of the book got me. It never felt contrived at all. <3 I finsihed GW2 a little around ten last night, and thought, okay, read for ten-fifteen before sleeping. NOPE. Up until 1am. It was THAT GOOD!
Now, I'm reading Slaying It. It gives me the happies.
I started it and am at 25%. I am just sad. It is relatable, we had infertility issues and it took about 7 years before conceived. Also, marriage is extremely tough and there are times my hubby so annoys me and I am very good at the avoidance game too. *sigh*
Every time I pick it back up, I’m distracted by kids or house/errand duties. :/
I’m making chicken wings in the crockpot for the 1st time ever. I don’t really like wings, but it’ll do. I thought they were drumsticks (have never done those in the crock either). And I’m using a coconut milk marinade for the flavor. Fingers crossed it turns out!
Honestly. I just read 2 whole sentences before the boy comes to tattle that his sister is using a baby spoon for her snack. And she counters with saying he got the spoon and stuck it right in her ice cream so she had to use it. And he argues she’s a big girl, she has to use a big spoon. *rolls eyes* It’s like this today. Allll day.
I love how R was all just….Im done. Lol.

So, I don’t know if you’ve heard but I am slightly obsessed with a K-pop group called pentagon. From this group is a subgroup called triple H and they dropped a new Mini album today. I listened to one of their songs from last year the one I posted up thread and I like it cause it’s kind of fun and funky and because of Hui’s vocals. But I haven’t listened to the rest of that album and ive only listen to the main song on this new one. I had to listen to it without the video because the visuals was too much to process at the same time, lol. But honestly I don’t know if I like the song or not and I can’t tell what its influence is. Maybe little disco like I don’t know.
But because I like to share with you poor people, I’m curious as to what you think.

I stayed up late and finished. R. you’re right I didn’t understand everything until close to the end. I will say even though my tummy was in twisty knots, it’s the first book in a while that I didn’t want to put down and gave me the “good” feels. Also, read the book club questions at the end; number 12 is one whose significance I missed when I reading the epilogue. Overall, like I said I really liked the book, but maybe it was resolved too quickly.
