While waiting for Aly Martinez to finish her duet and Emma Scott to finish up her, I played catchup. Reading Keep Her Safe by K A Tucker of course. I don’t want it to end but can’t read fast enough. It has so many twists and secrets. I can’t think of a thing that the book does not have in it for a perfect read. You must read every word or you might miss an important word or clue so slow read for me. I have been impatiently waiting for Simple Wild so must get this finished. Ahhh, too many books so little time lol.

A Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker was simply beautiful. I loved the description of the landscape. This story evoked many emotions and I love it when an author can make me feel so much. I lived in the North for many years and K.A. Tucker really got it right. I laughed out loud with the mention of the “honey bucket” – never thought I would read that – (If you have lived or travelled in the far North you know what I am referring to and if not ) you’re not missing anything – LOL. One of my top 2018 reads!

I am one of those weirdos that cuts off all my hair, grows it out, cuts it again, grows it out. I am very lazy and prefer the ease of buns/ponytails where short hair requires styling. I do not like to fuss with hair, makeup or clothes. I’ve been in a “long” phase for awhile but am 99% sure I am chopping it soon. I have really bad hair because I color it so much. Maybe I need those vitamins you guys talk about? I have the feeling the minute I chop it, I will regret it.

Hahaha. It’s from a very popular HR that I’m FINALLY getting around to reading: The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie by Jennifer Ashley. One of those everyone’s-read-it-except-me. It’s really good so far. The H is a hot Scot who seems to be somewhere on the Aspergers scale, and in the past was committed to an asylum for his supposed ‘madness’. Sounds like an unlikely premise for a HR, but it’s very well written and has been hugely popular.

I have gotten into a very unlikely romance novel. Based in WWII, and on a true story. 2 Families fleeing the war and finding love in the process against all the tragedy that was WWII. It’s very good. Thrown Upon The World by George Kolber, thrownupontheworld.com for the book site. I didn’t think it was going to be as good as it is, well worth it.
