Time for the Monday early birds!!! I was running late but they’re up now. 😀 20 releases that sound so good, plus I’ll add more if we get any more surprises.
But first… THREE THINGS:
1.) I’m SO sick right now. Started as a chest cold on Thursday or Friday and this weekend developed into a raging… I dunno what. Every muscle in my body aches. Even my eyelids. Even my rib skin. Everything. HURTS. Not to mention the fire in my lungs and nose. *sigh* I think I have a man cold. 😉
2.) I spent the entire weekend in bed, and here it is Monday, and I’m spending today in bed too. I can barely function, or think, so I’m going to work on this list nice and slow…

I’ve been trying and trying to decide what to read after a couple of meh books, and I think I’m going to get caught up on my BDB and Black Dagger Legacy books so that I’ll be ready for The Savior in April. I’ve really been letting my beloved PNRs and UFs fall to the wayside.the past couple of years. I think I’m behind in every series.

Happy Monday everyone…I’m trying to be upbeat but I really miss that hour we lost…
You’re sure it’s not the flu, Maryse? Body aches and cold symptoms- yikes! I hope you feel better soon. The last time I was sick I religiously applied Doterra on guard rollerball to get rid of it quicker, lavender for rest and relaxation, a couple others bc it was a stomach bug. And on guard in the diffuser. I dk if you’re into oils, but a friend had suggested a “floom” (frankenscense, lemon, on guard, oregano, and melaleuca) rollerball when I felt so awful. Apply every 2 hrs to bottoms of feet until you feel better. It’s supposed to be powerful for the immune system. I just used the on guard cuz that’s what I had on hand, but if in the future, you’d like to try, there it is.
Tasha I DO love essential oils, but right now EVERYTHING is making me sneeze like crazy (except for eucalyptus…) I have Vicks vaporub next to me as we speak.
I’m wondering about this Elderberry thing.

Good luck to your daughter, Grey! I dk what the show is for, dance? I’m guessing here, but those extracurriculars are always so hectic at the big events, but so rewarding at the end. I have a love/hate relationship with the busyness of them. And happy double digits to your son!

So, 3 things:
1. I’m drinking a Nutty Irish latte (Irish cream, hazelnut, and espresso). It is SO good. And eating a peaches and cream muffin. I’ve never had peaches in a muffin, but’s it’s divine. Yes, I know I’m contradicting my food choice woes, but you only live once, right? I’ll start tomorrow. I’m going for a modified version of the Mediterranean diet, soonish.
2. I’m nearly halfway through FantasticLand and still loving it. It’s so well written and different and exciting. But, I’m not sure I’d have believed it wasn’t real had I read past 20% still believing what I thought had actually happened. Lol! It’s hard to tell if I would’ve been buying this as long as I did, ya never know. Haha
3. I’ve got no huge chores today. Thank goodness, I can’t wait to dive back into my book for a couple hours.

Went to a wedding this weekend, so I’m still not done with What the Wind Knows, but it’s the kind of book you savor, do that ok.
I ordered the teacinno everyone raved about and it’s still not here! Amazon sent me a note of apology. I guess it’s a “thing” everyone wants. Ugh!!
I heard the elderberry is most effective in syrup form? Or even the gummies they make. I have yet to try. The tea didn’t work for me and possibly upset my tummy. That’s all they had when I went to get some. I’d have preferred the syrup. The school just sent out a warning that there’s been an increase in illness. Now I’m scared. I’m still traumatized from the stomach bug fiasco.
Michelle, I got the teaccino tea from Amazon too a couple weeks ago. I didn’t know it was a thing everyone was raving about though, I had no problem getting it. I got a multipack with 4 different flavors and have only tried the vanilla nut, which I loved. Maybe I should stock up.

*hugs* I’m sorry you’re feeling sickly Maryse. Colds with aches is just horrible. They do sell pure eucalyptus oil to drop on a diffuser. Those things are so awesome. Which, of course, now that I mention it, I’m thinking I need to get some. 🙂
1. I woke up before my alarm. Yes, yesterday was daylight savings time, but I still woke up before 5:30am. Now… I want to sleep so badly.
2. I finished ME Clayton’s Facing the Enemy. It had potential, and he was dark, but it felt too rushed. Also, you know I’m not too picky on typos, but TYPOS. The story itself was nice and dark, with a bully. Maybe it was seeing things from his perspective so much that made me not fall for it as fast as I normally do? I dunno.
3. There is a new stray cat coming around the house. There were two regular strays before that I named Stormy and Mouse. Stormy is all grey and white, and actually pretty friendly. Mouse is timid and looks rolly… and pure grey. Gorgeous kitty face. This new one looks like Stormy but gah. My cat Toby has it out for him. ONLY him. Thinking the new stray hasn’t been neutered as opposed to the other two and Toby thinks he’s king boss. So I have caught him fighting with the new cat three times now, and white fluff from the new cat everywhere.
Told you my cat’s a jerk.
3 things:
1) My son got me a 12-pack of macarons from same bakery kiosk as before! I got 2 each of pistachio, vanilla, dark chocolate, espresso macchiato, red velvet, and nutella! However, now that I’ve had them twice, I’m not overly impressed with their filling. It’s not like a buttercream, or really a cream at all. It’s more the consistency of a caramel that doesn’t stretch, like maybe they put a little bit of gelatin in it to thicken it. And they have a bit of an aftertaste–a sure sign that they’re using extracts instead of fresh ingredients. It’s not at all like the recipes I’ve seen, so I’ll be searching out a new place to buy them from.
2) I’m weary of not being able to bend my knee all the way. I’ve been working on it hard for the past month and have gone from 90° to about 85°, and that’s if I really warm up and work it while feeling the pain. I knew from the beginning that it would take time and be a lot of work, but it’s difficult when the results are still so painful yet so slight. Waa, waa, woe is me! 🙁 I also woke up super early today and it’s made my whiny.

Cheryl I haven’t gone to the doctor yet because I don’t feel like it’s turned into an infection… just full on virus-mode.
It is starting to feel like the same old news. A member of Big Bang, Seungri who owns shares in a club, is being investigated for bribery, setting up prostitutes for powerful men ,and being involved in a group that shared videos of women being filmed without their knowledge.
Makes me sad and angry.
I remember not too long ago bev, one cute k-pop star that committed suicide. I was assuming it would be something like that again.
You are probably thinking of Jonghyun of SHINee. They are the other group I’m really into. I’ve posted a couple videos with him in it and lots with Taemin the youngest of that group.
I came to the group after he passed and he looked so bright and happy performing it reminded me what an insidious (right word?) depression can be.

Maryse, Tamiflu can help shorten the length of the flu if started early. Seen higher number of kids testing positive for flu this school year.

Update!!
I already feel better today. A world of difference. I’m still sick and coughing, but I’m totally functional for public again. I can move without groaning, and at a normal pace!!! I can cough without it turning into crazy coughing-fits, and my head doesn’t feel like it will explode.
