*looks around*

*shrug* I guess everyone already took off to Amazon to pick up all these great new books.

Fabi November 7, 2016 at 9:17 PM

It’s easy to get lost out there. :-/

Maryse, your Creed link is taking me to Road to Nowhere: The Good Ol’ Boys Spin-Off.

*wipes forehead* glad I found my way back ;-)

Leslie M November 7, 2016 at 9:40 PM

I’m here Fabi!! But I’m crabby. *growls in anger and disgust*

Why do I feel like everything I read is a DNF or totally freaking boring??? *bangs head*

Fabi November 7, 2016 at 9:49 PM

Must be a bug going around Leslie. First I had the crabbies, then Amy got ‘em, and now you.

There’s only two known cures. 1. An old favorite read or 2. An awesome new release.

Jan November 8, 2016 at 12:22 AM

*hugs Leslie*. I’ve felt your pain many a time.

I’ve read Trust today, the new Jana Aston. (It’s already 8th here in Oz so it’s out). Fun read, altho pretty short. Nothing world-shattering, but I did finish it (and you know I’m a world class dnf’er). Might get you out of your funk?

Fabi I was wondering where everyone else is today, too…….. I wondered whether everyone has gone off to vote. (Or have I got the wrong day?)

Jan November 8, 2016 at 12:27 AM

Fabi a brand shiny new Mary Balogh historical romance comes out on Nov 8th too. It’s called Someone To Love and it’s the first in a new series. (The Wetscotts). Woohoo! Anne and I are pretty excited. Cos it’s already Tuesday here, I’ve got it on my kindle right now and I’m about to start it, now I’ve finished Trust.
*rubs hands together in anticipation*

Fabi November 8, 2016 at 12:27 AM

Voting day is tomorrow, Tuesday here. And if this country had any sense at all everyone would boycott those voting booths.

Fabi November 8, 2016 at 12:29 AM

Awww that sounds awesome. I have my eye on a couple coming out tomorrow too. But heck if I know when Id have time to read them.

Jan November 8, 2016 at 12:30 AM

Fabi? WTH did I write?? Sorry! I meant to address that last post to MARYSE so she can share the glad tidings. Not sure whether HRs are your thang, Fabi? But by all means, you can enjoy the new Balogh as well if you want :D

Fabi November 8, 2016 at 12:34 AM

Lol, thanks Jan. Yes, I do still read HR occasionally. I actually have one lined up for the end of this month.

Jan November 8, 2016 at 12:37 AM

Well, it’s sure been an interesting election buildup for you guys. Voting is compulsory in Australia, BTW. So our decision isn’t ‘do I vote?’ but ‘who will I vote for?” Kind of changes the playing field.

Jan November 8, 2016 at 12:40 AM

I think we’re the only ones awake.

R. Renee November 8, 2016 at 12:47 AM

I’m awake. Reading Wolfsong :)

I should go to bed since I have to get up early to “vote” but nah.

Jan November 8, 2016 at 12:50 AM

Hey R. Hope you’re still luvvin Wolfsong ;D

Linda November 8, 2016 at 7:06 AM

Devil’s Cradle was brought to my attention by Maryse. Only 25% in and really good so far. Read the synopsis and was sucked right in!!! Hope to really dive into it tonight AFTER work, root canal and VOTING!!! In that order!!! Lol.

Leslie M November 8, 2016 at 8:27 AM

Jan, I want to read Trust. I was trying to figure out if it came early when I saw on GR that you were reading it!! Duh! I always forget that the earth is round and we are not all in same time zone!

bev November 8, 2016 at 8:30 AM

No boycott. Go vote everyone. I know I’m going to be riveted to the tv when I get home from work.
Probably with ice cream, I’m scared. Where is Manny?

bev November 8, 2016 at 8:31 AM

Leslie, I always forget that they are in their summer.

Maryse November 8, 2016 at 8:54 AM

Maryse November 8, 2016 at 1:37 PM

Hi Edith! I just posted in on today’s NEW RELEASE post. I’m so curious about it… this special “ability” she has!!

Maryse November 8, 2016 at 1:39 PM

Thank you Jenn!!! Halo sounds SO good (I was watching that one a few weeks ago). I will post both of your recommendations! :D

Maryse November 8, 2016 at 1:49 PM

Oh THIS IS GOOD TO KNOW Linda!!! :D !! I one-clicked it because I’m a sucker for woman running from her abusive life… and then this one sounds like it gets CRAZIER. Please let me know if what you think. I may make this one my next read.

Maryse November 8, 2016 at 1:58 PM
