A few awesome looking earlybirds are live as we speak!!! Like that one there to the left (A Place in the Sun). She’s in Italy, and she’s “saved” by a reclusive hero. I LOVE those!!! :D

I also re-posted the latest from C.D. Reiss (Marriage Games) that went live last night, in case you missed it (her husband has some pretty serious demands), Believe (a rock star one where they meet at a wedding, fall head over heels, but have to say goodbye after their whirlwind romance, ’cause he’s on tour and she’s got a residency to complete), Hades (a modern retelling of Hades and Persephone – prince of the underworld that kidnaps her), and Lessons In Gravity (she is an intern on a documentary, and has to follow and interview a moody rock climbing daredevil)… and quite a few more that all sound up our book-alley!

Plus tomorrow’s preorders are looking darn good, too. In fact, I’ve received a few recommendations for one, and I’m SO excited about it, ’cause the heroine is agoraphobic!!! It. Sounds. AWESOME!! You can’t miss it, it’s the first one in the preorders section.

PREORDERS (going live at midnight!! :D )

  1. Pull Me Close: The Panic Series by Sidney Halston - October 25th 2016 <— THIS ONE’S GETTING RAVE REVIEWS!!!

Rachel: Rachel: “Maryse I was recommended PULL ME CLOSE by Sidney halston via Goodreads. They’ve been harping on it so much I ended up getting a copy from Netgalley. Now I see what all the fuss is about! MARYSE, it is soooo damn good. Maybe the author will give you an arc or something. Listen to this…she had a tragic event something you are NOT expecting and has been a recluse for years because of it. She ends up meeting a guy who owns a nightclub. But she can’t go see him because she can’t leave her house beacaue she’s agoraphobic! Gahhh. So good.”

Jean: Oh, oh, oh……Pull Me Close! Already read an ARC and absolutely LOVED IT!!!! Highly recommend!

Mia: First time poster, long time follower. hahah. But I felt compelled to write. Earlier this week you posted a pre-order that I’ve had sitting on my Kindle for weeks from Netgalley and finally had the courage to read it. It’s called Pull Me Close. I don’t like books with damaged h’s because they make me cry and I hate to cry. Give me a Rom Com anytime of the week, please. Anyway. Christ on a cracker! It was the best book I’ve read this year. I swear, I was reading about myself most of the time. The h has social anxiety and hasn’t left her house but the events are based on like…current things. It’s one of those books you shouldn’t know too much about before going into it. So don’t say anything if you read it! Anyway, it was gooood. now I have a book hangover and am going to grab my usual Rom Com (A little Penny Reid for me). *sniffle sniffle*

Amy: Hi Mia!!! *big welcome hug* Don’t be a stranger around here. :D And thanks for the heads up on Pull Me Close…whenever I hear we shouldn’t know too much before going into a book, it’s like catnip for me.

Interborough (Five Boroughs Book 4) by Santino Hassell is out! For those of us who follow this series, a big ol’ squeeeeeeeeeeee.

Maryse October 24, 2016 at 2:44 PM

YAY!!! Okay I’m POSTING IT!!! :D Thank you Fabi! I was just thinking about him today… craziness. It’s like something was pulling me to his book, but I didn’t see it in my searching.

Fabi October 24, 2016 at 2:48 PM

Yes, for some reason it appeared late on Amazon.

Teri W October 24, 2016 at 5:19 PM

Thank you, Maryse! :D

Anne October 24, 2016 at 6:36 PM

Finished Punk 57 and really liked it! I couldn’t picture them as HS seniors though.

Marriage Games sounds so naughty and intriguing! One clicking

I haven’t read the Five Boroughs series, but it looks so good! One clicking the first one :)

Amy October 24, 2016 at 6:54 PM

I agree, Anne…it was REALLY good, but holy moly that was graphic for high school kids!!

I guess it’s comparable to Fallen Crest in terms of maturity and sexy times. ;)

Theresa October 24, 2016 at 8:19 PM

Christin Harber Bishop’s Queen is live

Kathy P October 24, 2016 at 9:00 PM

Just finished Stolen by Lucy Christopher. I know it was one of your dark read Maryse. I think I have Stockholm Syndrome. Crazy to have sympathy for a kidnapper! I still don’t know how I feel.

Cheryl October 24, 2016 at 9:15 PM

Lisa October 25, 2016 at 2:10 AM

Holy Shit. Preppy, Keepsake and Billionaire all just uploaded on my kindle. Yipppeeee! Squeeeeee!!!

Gabrielle October 25, 2016 at 8:19 AM

I’ve heard so many things about PULL ME CLOSE. I started it last night, out of curiosity since it’s about recluse (which I love) and people are being sketchy on the reason why she’s a recluse. So, when it loaded on my Kindle I started it. I CAN.NOT.PUT.IT DOWN! So beautiful

Maryse October 25, 2016 at 8:38 AM

Gabrielle I wanna read it badly!!! :D

Janet October 25, 2016 at 8:40 AM

Pia October 25, 2016 at 9:05 AM

Amore part II by Bella Jewel is live as well :-)

Nay October 25, 2016 at 10:02 AM

I’m at 21% on Marriage Games and, unfortunately, having trouble not putting it down. It’s good–just moving a little slowly for my tastes and I’m missing some character depth, but I’m hoping that will come and I’ll just realize it was a slow build. I’ll keep y’all posted!

R. Renee October 25, 2016 at 10:09 AM

Nay I had that one on my TBR but everything I see is that it’s more erotica than erotic romance. Curious what you think when you’re done.

Nay October 25, 2016 at 11:08 AM

I think that’s what’s getting me. It’s going to be bdsm erotica (once it gets going), but they’re starting out as non-bdsm married couple, which means erotic romance to me, so I’m having trouble crossing over in that direction.

I can easily go from bdsm erotica to erotic romance (with our without elements of bdsm) in a book, and actually, I love books like that, but I don’t know about the other way around. Good point, R!!

Nay October 25, 2016 at 11:11 AM

Oh, and I’m kind of guessing about my previous post from what I read in the blurb. It could end up being much different from what I’m thinking–it’s just the idea I got from what it said.

Alabama Amy (aka Anti-Amy Amy) October 27, 2016 at 2:01 PM

I read Lessons in Gravity and really enjoyed it. I used to teach rock climbing so that whole aspect appealed to me immediately :) It definitely has a unique feel since the setting and premise is so different from your “typical” romance novel. I loved the hero, Josh. He was very well-written. Definitely going to try A Place in the Sun. I want to try Pull Me Close but it definitely seems to be a heavier read so I’ll have to prepare my brain for one of “THOSE” books.
