Monday starts the week off right with these awesome-sounding early birds. There’s one for each of our romance tastes. π From sexy sports stars, to sexy firemen, to creepy-thrillers, to a porn star, to a ghost, in love, I already have two of ’em on my TBR list, since putting this list together. I can’t wait to see if they’re as good as they sound!
<— P.S. That one to the left? Burning up the Amazon charts right now!! HOT and steamy sounding, and with a title like that, I can just imagine… π

Oh and did you see the pre-orders going live at midnight? *gasp* Okay tomorrow’s going to be a CRAZY list. Seriously. I was going to highlight a few of the authors up here, but they’re ALL huge, so… I’ll just let you see ’em below. LOL!!! π
JUST WENT LIVE!!!
- Mister OΒ byΒ Lauren Blakely Β <— TEE HEE!! THAT TITLE SAYS A LOT π *blush* “I suppose that makes me a superhero of pleasure, and my mission is to always deliver. BUT then I’m thrown for a loop when a certain woman asks me to teach her everything about how to win a man. The only problem? She’s my best friend’s sister, but she’s far too tempting to resist–especially when I learn that sweet, sexy Harper, has a dirty mind too and wants to put it to good use. What could possibly go wrong as I give the woman I’ve secretly wanted some no-strings-attached lessons in seduction?“
AtticusΒ by Leslie Fear <— SHE FEELS AN AMAZING PULL TO A GHOST ALERT! New girl in town is fascinated by a rumored “haunted house” and the ghost inside is fascinated with her… “…once I stepped through the window inside that house, I could feel the peace surrounding me. Hugging my body as if it had arms. Protecting me. Loving me. It was like the house knew what I craved and it felt too good to question any of it…” (my review)
- Waiting for Him (Waiting Series Book 3)Β byΒ Dawn Stanton <— LOVE TRIANGLE ALERT! She has a fiancee and suddenly her ex is back… “My past and present are at war, pushing and pulling me in two different directions and sooner or later Iβm going to break. How do I choose between the two men I love?”
- The Summer Games: Settling the ScoreΒ by R.S. Grey <— OLYMPIC STARS! She’s a soccer player and he’s a swimmer… “…she’s forced into the path of Frederick Archibald, a decorated Olympic swimmer and owner of a sexy British accentβtoo bad he’s unavailable in a way that “it’s complicated” doesn’t even begin to explain.Β In other words: off limits.”
ExratedΒ byΒ Stevie J. ColeΒ <— SHE GETS A JOB WORKING ON A PORN SET (yikes!!) BUT!!!!! “Although she anticipates being shocked her first few days on set, nothing could prepare her for the moment she’s asked to hold the reflector as her ex-boyfriend plows through a woman like a Kansas cornfield…” *snort* WHOA. This one could be interesting (angst-wise).
- Leveling The Field (Gamers)Β byΒ Megan Erickson <— RECLUSIVE EX-GAMER “It takes approximately two seconds for Lissa Kingsman to recognize Ethan as the popular YouTube gamer who fell off the planet years ago. But this Ethan is different than the charming man she used to watch, and the crush she had on him then isΒ nothingΒ compared to the way sheβs lusting after the brooding man he is today…”
- To Seduce a SEAL (Sin City SEALs)Β byΒ Sara Jane Stone
- Seducing the Fireman (Risky Business)Β byΒ Jennifer Bonds
- Accidental SalvationΒ byΒ Colbie Carter <— HE’S OUT OF PRISON AND HUNTING HER… “Emmy Burke made a grave mistake ten years ago. A tragic accident took the life of a neighborhood child, and the young boyβs father beat her nearly to death in retaliation. Now, the boyβs father is out of prison, and Emmyβs worst fear is confirmed as sheβs forced into a dangerous game of cat and mouse…”
The Drowning GirlsΒ byΒ Paula Treick DeBoard <— PSYCH THRILLER ALERT! And it sounds right up my alley. π She moves to a beautiful house in a high-end neighborhood with her husband and teen daughter… “In a place where reputation is everything, Liz soon discovers that even the friendliest residents can’t be trusted. So when the gorgeous girl next door befriends Danielle, Liz can’t help but find sophisticated Kelsey’s interest in her shy and slightly nerdy daughter a bit suspicious…” Yikes!!!

Invision: Chronicles of NickΒ by Sherrilyn Kenyon β May 3rd 2016Β <β Tessa is excited!! βInvision: Chronicles of Nick by Sherrilyn Kenyon comes out May 3 too. *happy dance* The last one was a huge game changer and I canβt wait to read what happens next. When the series is over, we better get Nickβs Dark Hunters book!β
Exrated sounds hilarious! The Summer Games sound right up my alley too! I one-clicked both and can’t wait to read them.
JC Diem has a new series and book 1 came out today called Road to Hell. I love all of her books.
Also, K S Adkins, one of my favorite authors has a new book out today called Mercy F*ck! Oh boy, does this sound good. The h gives everything to the H…her v-card and love. He of course takes it and as they are planning their wedding in bed he tells her she is mercy f*ck. So, she becomes that with every guy she’s with. Sounds like a woman scorned…hehe! Anyway, the H comes back into her life, she calls him the mercy f*cker. I just know it’s gonna get HOT, KS Adkins style!!
Another book that sounds fun is a shifter book called Bootcamp of Misfit Wolves by Annie Nicholas. It already has 2 books in the series. It’s about a camp for Wolves who are having problems in their pack for one reason or
another and the camp is run by a vampire and a kickass woman wolf shifter. It sounds fun and quirky. Of course the h falls for one of the campers and their romance is totally forbidden!
You said the magic word…..”reclusive”….Leveling the Field sounds perfect for me!
premise for Mr. O sounds quite similar to Beautiful Player which was my favorite of the Beautiful series…. so I guess I’m in!!!
I’m going to sample Mister O and Exrated. They may be funny. It sounds funny saying it. :-/
I’m having the hardest time picking my April favorite read. I’ve been thinking about it for two days and I’m just going to have to pick Radiance as my fav ’cause I’m tired of going round and round trying to decide. So…Radiance it is. There…done. π
I love your decisiveness, Fabi! π
And it’s neat how we all have different “picks” off this one. Mine is the psych-thriller and Exrated
Favorite of the month? Paper Princess.
Exrated tempts me so much. That just looks filled with angst and humor. Tomorrow’s releases are stupid insane. There comes a point where we need to bop our authors on the head and say NOT ALL AT ONCE DARN IT! Seriously, Court of Must and Fury, Intense, City of the Lost by Kelley Armstrong, The Girl from Summer Hill
by Jude Deveraux, and The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan release tomorrow. I already have Hidden Oracle on reserve at the library (I’m 11th in line) but STILL! Book Nerd Problem π
Without a doubt, my favorite April read is Until You! Coming in a close second, Blurred Lines (Lauren Layne)!!! I read it in one sitting on Saturday….could not put it down…best friends to lovers and so damn great! All my friends are reading it now because I was adamant!!!! You guys, it was sooooo good!!!
And of course I must mention the Sinners on Tour series because they were great, but Until You….gah….it was just perfect!
Mine was hands down Before We Were Strangers. It felt like a TJR fix while I’m waiting for One True Loves.
My favorite of the month is “Dangerous Girls” followed by “Paper Princess”. π
Favorite of the month, Dangerous Girls.
One clicked Mister O *giggle* now that sounded dirrrrty! FLove it!!! Think I’m going to grab Exrated and Drowning Girls.
TOMORROW is Deception by Aleatha Romig… WOOHOO!!!! So excited about this one! Thanks as always Maryse!
Hmmmm. So many pretties….. I like the look of The Summer Games, also Levelling The Field. Robyn, the Annie Nicholas sounds intriguing, too.
My standout fav April read was The Last Hour of Gann.
I had pre-ordered The Summer Games and have already started it. Liam, Kinsley and Becca from Scoring Wilder are in it too.
Mister O, Exrated and Robyn’s rec- Mercy F*ck are one-clicks also.
Hmmm, April favorite would be Sweetest Venom or Right. And I really enjoyed Sugar Rush.
My favorites are Once Upon a Rose and I’ll Meet You There.
I am almost done with Tiny Pretty Things. Next I think will be CB or the Carnival at Bray and that will be 3 off my list.
Been a bit, not horribly so by any means, but a bit of a blah day. Definitely a get in pjs and bed and read type day. Almost able to.
*shares blah day glass of wine with Bev*
April faves? Queen of Shadows, Eidolon, and Dumplin’. π
I decided to try to go back & finish The Stanton Series. May squirrel soon. It’s three books bundled, so it feels like I’m making no progress! Hate bundled books for that reason.
My favorites from April: Ladies Man, Eidolon and Tapping the Billionaire.
Exrated sounds like fun! One clicking that one π
Just finished Tapping the Billionaire and loved it!! Kline was so amazing! It was fun, sexy and light. Just what I needed.
Starting My Commander next.
I truely love Lauren Blakely so one-clicked Mister O right away. The original title was Mister Orgasm, but some how along the way it was shortend to Mister O. All 5 star reviews on Amazon.
My favorite read in April was Flat Out Love. An oldie from my tbr. I read Flat Out Matt and Flat Out Celeste as well.
It’s now 3 am and this Mr. O book is addicting. This book is funny, quirky, sexy, and impossible to put down!
Wait wait how could I forget … my best book in April was Too Late by Colleen Hoover – no doubt about that. Because it was on Wattpad I forgot it when I looked through my kindle library. So different from her other books and Maryse you just NEED to read this one.
Too Late is followed by Flat Out Love as stated in my previous comment π
I love Colleen Hoover, Pia, so I will absolutely read it! π
Really loved Ladies Man. Loved the whole series. But feel a little slighted like I didn’t get to know Tahoe very well. Wish there would be a sequel to their story.
I am two thirds of the way through The Commander right now and am liking it but not as much as I thought from everyone’s comments. Anyway one clicked a few. Definitely think I need rehab for this clicking problem!
Anne, I just finished Tapping the Billionaire yesterday and also loved it and loved Kline!
Last night, there was a nasty thunderstorm here on the east coast so I started reading The Haunting of Gillespie House. It was a perfect night for it and had me holding my breath! Almost done (it’s a short read) and was just the change I needed!
My fave I read in April was Thoughtful. Aaaaaaaaah….Kellan *swoon* Kyle. It took me this long to get courage to read it and it gutted me. I can’t even express in words how much I freaking love him. I think I need therapy because he is real in my mind.
I also really enjoyed Tapping the Billionaire. Funny & swoony.
Lisa, you are braver than me. I’ve been wanting to read Thoughtful for so long, but don’t know if my heart and stomach can go through it again! But…..Kellan!
Jean, you haven’t read Thoughtless? You must! The story is worth the angst. I know it’s scary, but honestly, past the angst, it’s so sweet and beautiful too. You know there will be peanuts involved if you don’t, right? *grins*
No, no Tessa, I read the entire Thoughtless trilogy, but haven’t read Thoughtful (Kellan’a POV). So please withhold the peanuts at this time! Lol!
Okay, no peanuts. I haven’t gotten around to reading that one either. π
Favorite read for April: When Nothing is All You’ve Got but Kirsty Dallas. Gritty, dark, urban fantasy read.
Jennifer, that looks intriguing.
Alright, it looks intriguing enough for me to start reading it.
