News!!! The start of the new year has provided us with many exciting revelations!! And of course teasers. Those teasers are KILLING me!! I have a love/hate relationship with those, just sayin’. Have you read the Reckless teaser yet? GAH!!! Oh you haven’t? Well, I’ve included the link below, along with lots of other goodies.

  • S.C. Stephens has just release the entire first chapter of her upcoming and highly anticipated book, “Reckless“. You can read it here. Eeeep! I must read it, especially after Surjit told me… “oh my…. Kellan has already been a little reckless!!!!”
  • Just found out that K.A. Linde is releasing a novella on February 26th 2013 for her “Avoiding series“. This’ll be about Chyna! Here’s the gorgeous cover reveal.
  • K.A. Tucker (author of one of my favorites – Ten Tiny Breaths) has just released the “Mirror scene” from Trent’s POV!!!
  • Samantha Young’s On Dublin Street” sequel is available for pre-order (but in print only, as of yet). It will be called Down London Road and is expected to release on May 7th 2013!! (thanks to Diane for sending me that tidbit!!). The author says:

“Jo is the heroine of Down London Road (ODS #2)…

So, officially, here is the blurb for Down London Road:

Johanna Walker is used to taking charge. But she’s about to meet someone who will make her lose control….

It has always been up to Johanna to care for her family, particularly her younger brother, Cole. With an absent father and a useless mother, she’s been making decisions based on what’s best for Cole for as long as she can remember. She even determines what men to date by how much they can provide for her brother and her, not on whatever sparks may—or may not—fly.

But with Cameron MacCabe, the attraction is undeniable. The sexy new bartender at work gives her butterflies every time she looks at him. And for once, Jo is tempted to put her needs first. Cam is just as obsessed with getting to know Jo, but her walls are too solid to let him get close enough to even try.

Then Cam moves into the flat below Jo’s, and their blistering connection becomes impossible to ignore. Especially since Cam is determined to uncover all of Jo’s secrets…even if it means taking apart her defenses piece by piece.

Coming May 7th 2013 in ebook and paperback”

  • Sylvain Reynard has not yet released title or release date for book #3 in Gabriel’s Trilogy. I know.. I know… LOL! That’s not really news, but I keep getting asked, so I thought I’d officially post it, here. ;)
  • Madeline Sheehan has temporarily put “Unbeautifully” on hold. She WILL be releasing it, but needs to revise some things so the release date is now “To Be Announced” (in the meantime, check out my review for book #1 – Undeniable). What a shocking and exhilarating read! Her announcement was on her Facebook page and she said:

“I have been incredibly busy lately and under a lot of pressure (most self-induced) to get UnBeautifully out. And now…I’m not happy with a good portion of the book. And, I absolutely can not release it when I’m not happy with it. So, to alleviate some of the headache this has been causing me, I’m putting it aside, I’m not giving myself a release date, I’ve postponed the blog tour, and have resumed dedicated work on finishing up My Heart & Soul.

I apologize to everyone who has been looking forward to the release of UnBeautifully, THE BOOK IS COMING, but for now, I need a break from it.”

How is Down London Road a sequel to On Dublin Street? I don’t recall those characters? I just want to know if it is actually a sequel or just another book from the author?

tricia January 7, 2013 at 3:39 PM

Just want to say Thank you Maryse for all the hard work you put into your blog and for my addiction to many bad boys! haha Right now its Daemon and I don’t know how I am going to make it until July for the next Lux book!

Sue January 7, 2013 at 3:49 PM

Cherrifaye January 7, 2013 at 3:50 PM

I have downloaded the Reckless teaser, however I cannot bring myself to read it. It’s because I am worried about the title. Now that you say that Kellan has been already reckless!!! I think I leave it……don’t think I can bear any more angst!!!!!!!! ;(

Maryse January 7, 2013 at 4:16 PM

Chinyere: I’ve added the details directly form the author (up above), including the book blurb, and she considers it “On Dublin Street #2″

I hope that helps!!

Just read Trent POV- Ten Tiny Breathes. I think I cried harder this time then when I first read the book. Thanks for sharing that with us. I agree with you I don’t like teasers much either. Especially, when we have months to wait for the actual book.

Hildur January 7, 2013 at 4:53 PM

I thought Jo was Cole’s sister who go sick. Wasn’t she already in a relationship with his friend? Anyway….I wanted to tell you that Ginger Voight’s “Mogul” has been moved up to February 5th. Yay for me! :)

Kimberly January 7, 2013 at 5:10 PM

Was not going to read Ch. 1 of Reckless but gave in now I think this book will be heart stopping, stomach flipping, throw my kindle at the wall, I feel like I’m gonna throw up drama, and come Kiera that news was not that shocking I mean its Kellan he is a sex god it could have been worse

Sharon January 7, 2013 at 5:20 PM

I believe Cole and Jo were the bartenders at the bar that the main character worked with.

heather January 7, 2013 at 5:21 PM

Andrea January 7, 2013 at 6:12 PM

Thank you for posting Trent’s POV. It wasn’t fresh in my mind, but really beautiful. I think I cried all over again for them.

Kristy S January 7, 2013 at 7:44 PM

Thanks for compiling all the book news in one place! It is really hard to keep up with these days. :) I just started the first book in the Lux Series last night and it is sooo good.

Jackie January 7, 2013 at 10:01 PM

Just wanted to say I downloaded “Escorted” from the freebie list this morning and DEVOURED it today. SO good! Highly recommend downloading and reading it.

Maryse January 7, 2013 at 10:40 PM

I wanna start it now!!!

And my pleasure everyone!!

Maryse January 7, 2013 at 10:52 PM

I just added a new freebie you guys! The last one in the list is the latest.

LucyLou January 8, 2013 at 1:01 AM

THANK YOU MARYSE; these freebies and book updates are amazing!!! :) I downloaded all the freebies, but I’m like you, “Escorted” is tempting me to move it up on my TBR list after I finish “Maybe Baby” by Andrea Smith. Maryse, “Maybe Baby” is that ‘new adult’ freebie I emailed you about a while back. It too has been tempting me because of the great reviews…so far so good.

Wow, Trey’s POV was beautiful and heartbreaking!!! Thanks K.A. Tucker, I loved it!!
I felt such nostalgia going to Fiction Press to read the “Reckless” teaser. Although I purchased “Thoughtless” and “Effortless” to support our wonderful author, S. C. Stephens, I first read both those books straight from Fiction Press on my computer. ;)

Maryse January 8, 2013 at 1:08 AM

I know, LucyLou!! It was so cool to be at Fictionpress again.

I’m getting a later start to my reading tonight (I’ve got an awesome interview that I prepared for you guys that’ll be posting tomorrow!!) but I’m reading Escorted ASAP!!!

Let me know when you’re done Maybe Baby.

Carly January 8, 2013 at 5:49 AM

I can’t bring myself to do it….. I wish I didn’t know there were teasers out there. All too tempting and tortuorous. I WILL be strong and stay away from them. I WILL be strong and stay away from them… At least for tonight.

kelsey January 8, 2013 at 6:29 AM

Can’t wait for Samantha Youngs new release, she is a lovely lady and very talented. I even spent the weekend in Edinburgh on a short break and checked out all her haunts in On Dublin Street :-)

Catherine January 8, 2013 at 8:21 AM

Jamie@Addicted2Heroines January 8, 2013 at 8:24 AM

I’m so excited for Down London Road, but I REALLY need to read the SC Stephens Thoughtless series ;-)

DeeDee January 8, 2013 at 8:46 AM

I 100% agree with Jackie. Escorted is a wonderful read. I almost feel bad about getting it for free. I would have paid full price for it. Read it, ladies!

Barb January 8, 2013 at 10:41 AM

I read Escorted last night/this morning. GREAT book!!! I have to say it was just about my most favorite book of all the ones I’ve seen recommended on your site. I was so inspired that I’m commenting for the first time!!

Maira January 8, 2013 at 2:45 PM

Linda F January 9, 2013 at 4:00 PM

I’m very excited for the release of “Reckless”. I was afraid to read chapter 1 and I wasn’t suprised to learn that “someone” from Kellan’s past returned. I knew it this was going to happen, uggh! I also read Trent’s POV from TTB. It was beautiful and heartbreaking.

Linda F January 9, 2013 at 4:05 PM

I’m so sorry about the typo’s everyone – I’m at work and I was rushing.

Jackie January 11, 2013 at 8:33 PM

Love the blog! Look forward to it everyday!
Hope I win that Kindle gift cad!

Andrea Smith March 29, 2013 at 3:10 PM

I came upon this blog and really fell in love with it! I had googled my book title and name and saw this a couple of pages into it. I want to thank those that read my first book, ‘Maybe Baby’ and gave it a favorable review. I hope that you will go on and read the next three books in the ‘Baby Series’, ‘Baby Love’, ‘Be My Baby’, and a novella, ‘Baby Come Back.’

Thank you all so very much!!
