Jasinda Wilder – The Badd Brothers Series Reading Order

By Leave a Comment

NEW JASINDA WILDER SERIES & book #4 was JUST released!! BUT!! The author assures us they can be read as standalones:

***THE BADD BROTHERS is 8 connected but standalone books in a sexy, funny, alpha male family series. Warning: this book contains mature content, and may also make you laugh out loud!***

About book #1:

Your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, right? That’s what they say, at least. I went into that day hoping I’d get the happiest day of my life. What I got? The worst. I mean, you really can’t get any worse of a day without someone actually dying.
So…I may have gotten just a little drunk, and maybe just a tad impetuous… And landed myself in a dive bar somewhere in Alaska, alone, still in my wedding dress, half-wasted and heart-broken.
***
Eight brothers, one bar. Sounds like the beginning to a bad joke, yeah?  I kinda think so.  Wanna hear another joke? A girl walks into a bar, soaking wet and wearing a wedding dress.
I knew I shouldn’t have touched her. She was hammered, for one thing, and heartbroken for another. I’ve chased enough tail to know better. That kinda thing only leads to clinginess, and a clingy female is the last thing on this earth I need.
I got a bar needs running, and only me to run it—at least until my seven wayward brothers decide to show their asses up…
Then this chick walks in, fine as hell, wearing a soaked wedding dress that leaves little enough to the imagination—and I’ve got a hell of an imagination. I knew I shouldn’t have touched her. Not so much as a finger, not even innocently. But I did.

Susan Fanetti – The Brazen Bulls Series Reading Order

By Leave a Comment

BIKER SERIES ALERT!! I KNOW A TON are HUGE fans of this author’s other biker series, and a new book in this series just went live!!

Jan: Susan Fanetti’s MC books are good but pretty gritty and full-on, so if you read them, be prepared!

Lisa: I have been on a huge Susan Fanetti binge already this year…non stop reading that is driving the hubs insane. Fanetti is such a sneaky writer. Her books feel like a KA romance, all safe and swoony, and you get drawn in to loving her alpha-with-a-heart Heroes. And then she goes and kills a main character and rips your heart out.

Ela: LOVED Susan Fanetti’s Signal Bend series BUT it is very violent and graphic so listen to the warnings Susan posts at the end of the blurb!

Georgia: By far the best MC series I’ve read thus far – Signal Bend Series – Susan Fanetti. Real, Raw and Simply amazing. You have to read it in its entirety. BOXES of tissues are a must nearby.

About book #1:

Tulsa, Oklahoma, 1995.

Conrad “Radical” Jessup, Sergeant at Arms of the Brazen Bulls Motorcycle Club, has life just about where he wants it: he’s free of a bad marriage, and his club is cruising along healthy and strong, their business relationships as solid as their brotherhood. He’s a contented man, riding his road at his speed.

Until a massive highway wreck brings a blonde on a little sportster crashing into his life.

Willa Randall is making a new life in Tulsa, working hard to put a demolished past in her rearview mirror. Trying to keep herself safe, she’s built a life insulated by locks and walls. Inside those walls, she’s alone, but she feels secure, and that’s enough.

Until a big, tattooed biker holds out his hand and helps her up from the pavement.

A love seeded in chaos grows fast and deep. But when chaos is a constant, can any love endure?

Reader Question – The book about the girl that met him in a bar, and he refers to her as his mermaid…

By 2 Comments

Bea needs us!! There are a few spoilers in this one, but I have added in some spoiler warnings, so proceed with caution. 😉 I’m sure someone will know it, because there is some great detail here!

She asks:

Hi I’m wondering if you know a title of the book i read about a year ago.

It was a boss-employee romance and the heroine starts a romance with a man she was meeting at a bar with her boss and colleague.

I think the man is a client of theirs and has issues because…

…his childhood friend and his brother’s girlfriend drowned and he couldn’t save her.

The heroine he was in love with also drowned because of some dangerous threat while they were at a work conference doing an important project in Los Angeles.

She was brought back to life by him performing CPR on her. He also referred to her as his “mermaid” and i think that her name was something that started with an M, but I am not sure.

I also remember that the heroine lived in Texas originally but worked in New York.

Please help me find it!

Anyone know it?

Paula: I remember a book about the hero calling the heroine mermaid because in their first meeting she was wearing a mermaid costume. Is that the book?

Lesley: It definitely is Julie A Richman Slave to Love
