Some of our fellow readers are looking to love AND laugh… and boy do I have the tried-and-true list for her! I know some of y’all miss the “Ultimate” genre lists at times, so I’m thrilled to bring this one back to the forefront.
Sinead & Colleen ask:
Sinead: Can u or any readers recommend any good romantic comedy books , running out of books to read lol … it is hard to find good funny romance books
Colleen: Do you have any new comedy ebooks, I read everything on your list. …need a really good laugh.
<— We made a list of best romance comedy books and in fact, Colleen, it’s just recently been updated!! Take a look: Recommended Comedy Romance Books
ALSO! If anyone has a recommendation (any of your favorites – old & new), comment below and we’ll add them onto the main list.
I LOVE your website. It rocks!! I read around 2-3 books a week. So I always go through your reading list.
Yay Paula!!!! Thank you so much for being with us. Let me know if you have some favorites, and I’ll add them!
Practice Makes Perfect by Julie James literally made me laugh out loud. Two lawyers, a predictable storyline but some VERY funny scenes.
Try “Anything but minor” by Kate Stewart. I laughed so hard I spit water all over my hubby and I may have peed a little.
I KNOW I want to read that one Shunda. I already love that author due to another book…
See Jane Score by Rachel Gibson (recently mentioned on the sports romance list) is another sweet romance with some very funny, laugh out loud moments.
I loved ‘Lingus’ by Mariana Zapata. There were loads of snort out loud moments.
Confessions of a reformed tomcat by Daisy Prescott and Truth or Beard by Penny Reid.
Rock Chicks series by Kristen Ashley! Can’t beat it!
I don’t see any Katie MacAllister on this list but she has a funny paranormal series: Aisling Grey. The first book is You Slay Me. I read these years ago, it led me to MaryJanice Davidson, who I did see on the list. Katie has a lot of funny reads. These authors take me back to the days pre kindle of scouring the used book stores and paperback exchanges. Sometimes you need a smoking hot alpha dragon and a slobbering Newfoundland! Thanks for your great recommendations Maryse – I love your blog.
And thank YOU Jennifer, for suggesting Katie MacAlister. I will add this!! 😀
Susan Elizabeth Phillips’ “Kiss An Angel” and “”It Had to Be You” are older but really funny!
Tracy Ellen’s , Anabel Axel rod series is great fun
Cream of the Crop by Alice Clayton and Bossman by VI Keeland are the latest romantic comedies I’ve read and adored. Couldn’t put them down!!! Two authors that never fail me!!
Crazy Little Thing by Tracy Brogan
