Adina is looking for this book! And Adina? You are never an inconvenience. Book questions or requests for recommendations make my day!! 😀 And this is the same for all of you. ❤️
She asks:
Hello and sorry for the inconvenience, I am writing to you because I saw on your blog a very large list of titles, romantic books, military topic.
I’ve been looking for a book title for a week, unfortunately I don’t remember the author or the cover. What I do know is that the fiction is contemporary.
The H is ex military and currently working at a security company. The H and h are married but have been separated for a few years.
She is seeking divorce but the H doesn’t want a divorce and proposes a few months of living again together.
They lost a baby. The h is devastated because the H left on a mission when the tragedy happened.
The H’s colleagues do not know that he is married or about the baby.
Hope you are healthy in these crazy times. 10x
Okay!!! I think I know this one because I read and loved it and also because it was a recent reader question so it’s fresh in my mind!
Anyone have a different guess?
Molly: Adina O. I have 2 books that might be it.
- 1st book – “The Spy Who Left Me” by Gina Robinson
- 2nd book – “On Her Master’s Secret Service” by Lexi Blake
Adina: I check the books that you recommended but no luck 🙁 The H is not a spy, fbi agent or royal.
Maryse: I’m guessing it’s the “Retrieval Duet” by Aly Martinez.
Here are my reviews:
- Book Review – Retrieval by Aly Martinez – 4.5 stars
- Book Review – Transfer (The Retrieval Duet Book 2) by Aly Martinez – 4.5 stars
Jan: Maybe Breaking the Rules by Suzanne Brockmann? One of the Troubleshooters series. It has some similar aspects to the storyline.
Jami: Rescuing Ellena by Anna Blakely
Adina: True to You by Jody Watters. I found it!!!!
Maryse: OMG YAY ADINA!!!! I’ll update the post and now we have an awesome list of books that are similar. 😀
