Reader Question – The book about the guy that plays football and lives in the Forrest Gump house.

Emily needs our book help! There’s a nice little twist in her sort of spoiler-section that caught my attention!! I feel like I’ve read this before, or maybe it was another book altogether with the “doesn’t recognize her last name” trope that I always enjoy! 😀

She asks:

This book I really want to reread but I can’t remember the name.

I know that they are in high school and I’m pretty sure the guy plays football. I know for sure that the main guy lives in the Forest Gump house, and they sit on the swing. Please let me know!

**Possible Spoilers** I am also pretty sure that the main girl was really close with her grandfather and he dies before the book, but he owned a professional sports team (pretty sure football) that is in California that she now owns.

The guy doesn’t recognize her last name (but his Dad does and doesn’t say anything).

And another girl makes it seem like the main girl is a gold digger and they have a fight and a bit of a fall out, but they get back together.
