I forgot the title of the book but I remember one scene.
It goes like the heroine went to a party with the hero and the hero’s ex-mistress was there. The mistress slapped the heroine and the heroine slapped her back.
It seemed like an abandoned wife/marriage of convenience troupe. Probably a regency historical romance.
Maryse: I’m going to post something super silly that my boyfriend said when I read this question to him (’cause I loved the description of the scene so I just had to read it to him). So…. this is “the first guess” (albeit obviously wrong). LOL!!
“…that is a song, not a book. See Garth brooks “I’ve got friends in low places”
Maryse: OMG LOL!!! What a brat! 😂 😆
Okay who’s next?
Anyone have a guess?
Aimee: Following!!, sounds like my type of book!
Kelly: Could it be Stylo Fantome’s The Kane Trilogy?
Aimee: This sounds good so I’m starting it next!
Kelly: Aimee, this Kane trilogy is AMAZING! I loved it so much.
Cha: Aww!! Not that one, the one i am looking for has a victorian era feel yo it. but i loved the premise of kane trilogy! Have to check that one out! Thanks kelly!
