By Leave a Comment

Our resident “betrayal and redemption” trope lover is back!! Margie just finished both in this series & she loved them!

She says:

Ivy Myst: Sam’s Secret (Book 2/3 of Willowbrook Book series). This came out December 30, 2025.

Welcome back to Willowbrook, another tale of angst, and some of our favorite characters from Book 1.

This author has a special skill in creating her characters, particularly the evil OWs, and this book certainly has one. Another book to binge with tissues for the finale…and there will be a third book in the series to look forward to…there’s a teaser at the very end of the book…and hopefully more books. read more

Finding these new authors is interesting…some really good and some eeek! Here’s the next installment.

Ivy Myst: The Space He Left (Book 1/3 of Willowbrook Book series)

Angst, betrayal, an emotional affair, skullduggery, savior/hero complex, twists and turns, and loads of angst…a binge worthy book that came out in October 2025.

From the book: “An affair doesn’t have to be physical to be a betrayal,” Dr. Cox said gently. “You gave another woman your time, your emotional energy, your intimacy, and your loyalty. You made her your priority. That is the very definition of an emotional affair.” read more

She asks:

RE: Looking for a Book With MMC Athlete, OW Drama, and Long-Distance Romance

Hello,

I’m looking for a book I’ve been trying to remember for a long time.

If I’m recalling correctly, it’s about an MMC and FMC who are in a long-distance relationship for a while because the MMC is directed (or based) somewhere else. I’m not sure if he’s a professional boxer, football player, or baseball player, but he’s an athlete. read more
