Hui Lin needs our book help! OMG!! I’ve had this reader question before, quite a few years ago (2018!!), and so many of us were dying to find out what book it was (we love the “ghost” love stories, even though he might not actually be a ghost).
The older reader question, she “thinks* she found the book but still wasn’t sure so let’s consider it still in question…

Hi Maryse!
I need your help finding the title or author of a book. I read this a while back so I can’t remember the full plot but what I can think of is:
Single woman in present day buys (or inherits) an old castle. When she goes to check out its condition, her car stops working after it enters the castle grounds, same for exiting the castle.
She moves into the castle and one day she discovers that one of the antique full length mirrors is actually a window to where a lord (or someone noble, can’t remember his exact title) has been trapped for hundreds of years, and she’s the first person to be able to see him from her side.
So the two of them start working together to free him and fall in love in the process. I don’t recall the reason for his entrapment/curse but I vaguely remember a HEA.
The plot is a little similar to Spell of the Highlander except without the druids and magic. Fingers crossed someone knows this book! 🤞🏻

Nadine: …I did eventually find this one book that I think might be it but I’m not 100% sure: My Outlaw by Linda Lael Miller. I’m still searching to this day, I also remember the cover being blue with a haunted house in the distance but that’s as far as I remember.
