Cindy needs our help, and I can relate to her issue when she says she reads so many books that at some point they all sort of get jumbled in her head. But this is one she’s read and LOVED and she wants to remember the title.
She asks:
Hello π greetings from Norway π
i love your blog and have found so many gooood books from it π
A while back, i read a book that i can’t remember what itβs called. i found it on your blog, and i remember absolutely LOVING IT, can you help me find which one it was? I donβt remember much Iβm sad to say..
just that it is a Young woman on the run from something bad in her past. She has a person who helps her with fake names and Money. She meets a guy and falls for him, and at some point in the book,

it looks like this guy is after her because of the thing she is running from.. and thats all i remember!!
I read so many books at that time that they kind of melt together in my head. But i would really like to read it again π
Anyone have an idea. I know there are quite a few books with this kind of theme, so while we try and guess HERS, we’ll make a mini list of more like it. π
Here are a few that come to mind for me:
- Defying the Odds (Battered Hearts Book 1)Β by Kele Moon (and here is myΒ Book Review)
- The Devils’ CradleΒ by Darcy Daniel (and here is myΒ Book Review)
It sounds like Lie Next to Me by Sandi Lynn.
Ugh. Sorry, I posted my response to the wrong question.
Razorblade Kisses by RL Griffin or Beautiful Ink by Nicole Reed?
Both good books, by the way. π
Escaping Reality (The Secret Life a of Amy Benson) ; by Lisa Renee Jones???
Like every book ever!!! LOL. So many for this theme…
I’m so happy to see that there are other Norwegian’s reading this blog π
I am reading it from Budapest, Hungary!
Definitely sounds like the Artists Trilogy by Katrina Halle!!! Fantastic series!!! Parents were con artists and she’s trying to escape the life by creating a new identity. Until her past catches up with her.
Cindy here
