Reader Question… Solved! The shifter book about the girl that works in a diner & she feels a connection to him, but he is rejecting the bond…

Jondrea needs our book help! Oh I LOVE unrequited love especially when he’s doing the rejecting. GAH!! I mean… IN BOOKS!! Only and always in books. My poor heart.

Though this one does make me think of one where he was pretty resolved in NOT becoming involved (and I think they both worked in the cafe) and I loved it. It was called Unleash the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon (here’s my review). But I don’t think I’m right because I don’t recall him “with” someone else… he was THAT reclusive, ya know? Though it’s been years since I’ve read it, so maybe…

She asks:

I am looking for a shifter book.

She works in the diner where him and I think his family, comes into.

She feels a connection but he is rejecting the bond (which if I am not getting books mixed together causes her pain). He doesn’t want fate to own him and he currently sleeping with some other girl who the family doesn’t like.I think he is in line to the be the alpha.

I think it’s a whole series may maybe not.

Please help I have been trying to find this book for over a month

Jan: Could it be one of the Seven series? (Dannika Dark) It’s a while since I read them and I can’t remember that description exactly, but there are some scenes in some of the books where the family goes out together to bars/diners etc. so maybe?

Jondrea: Not Seven Series I actually read that series and loved it. Haven’t read unleash the night but going to add it to my read list

Cheryl: It sounds like one of Suzanne Wright’s Phoenix or Mercury pack books. It’s been ages since I read them but I think one of them had a h that worked in a diner.

Jan: I liked the Seven series too. I’ve never heard of Greyriver shifters and would like to check it out but it doesn’t seem to be available on amazon Australia 🙁
