Reader question time! I’ve been accumulating a few of ’em and I think I’ve found us some answers! Plus there’s one or two that I could use a reader’s help of the “guess that book” kind (and is it a cliffhanger?). π
FIRST!!! I just want to note thatΒ Pull (Part Two of Push)Β by Claire Wallis was JUST RELEASED today!!! So I’m going to start of today’s questions with one referencing that series.
Stacie: Is there another book after this one? I’m afraid to start it if there’s another…. (in reference to:Β PushΒ (book #1)Β and Β Pull (Part Two of Push))
Maryse: I’ve skimmed the reviews VERY lightly, and so far I’m not seeing word of a cliffhanger on book #2, so I *believe* it is complete. However, those that have finished it, can anyone here confirm?
Donna: Will there be a second book of Priceless (The Rothvale Legacy Book 1)? Book one is great.
Maryse: Hi Donna! Yes, the “prequel” (The Muse (Rothvale Legacy Historical Prequel Book 1) was just released a couple of days ago, and “My Lord” (book #2 is expected to be released very soon. Says November 2014)…
Glenda:Β Hi Maryse, few days ago you posted an info about a book about a Vampire guy and the girl is a teacher, and if I am not wrong he is a teacher too. But I can’t find the book title. Do you remember the book ? Please help me…. thanks Glenda
Hi Glenda! You bet!!! It’s actually HE’s the history teacher, and she’s the new highschool student (but she’s actually a vampire, too, so she’s older than she looks) *I think* that’s the premise anyway…Β UnrequitedΒ byΒ Emily Shaffer.
Amy: Hey Maryse, do you know if we should read Becoming CalderΒ Β first and then Finding EdenΒ since its a two-part thing released simultaneously? Thanks!! AA
Maryse: Good question. Lemme check. But I *think* Becoming Calder should be first…Β Yep! Finding Eden is the 2nd part of this two part story Very cool that she released them both at the same time!!
Amanda: Do you know anything about when C.L. Stone’s House of KorbaΒ in the Ghost Bird Series will be released?
Maryse: Hi Amanda! You’re in luck.Β It was just released a few days ago! π —->Β House of Korba: The Ghost Bird Series: #7 (The Academy)
Jeanie:Β Hi Maryse, okay, there was this book I read a long while ago but for the life of me can’t remember the book title – main “thingy” that sticks out was that the heroine liked to cut out coupons or pictures – her biggest fascination was getting the opportunity to finally eat at Arbys. The hero tells her something like she’s better than Arby’s lol. Something like that. Anyone know what book I am referring to? It’s driving me kinda nuts lol!!! Thanks!!!!
Maryse: LOL!! This sounds like fun, but I have not read it… Maybe someone here knows the answer? YAY!!! Barbara knows it! She says: “Maryseβ¦the reader question about the coupon cutter and Arbys is the Damaged series by Bijou Hunter. I love this series. The sister that likes to cut the coupon is Tawny. It also deals with a MC.” (side note from Maryse: Tawny’s book isΒ Damaged and the Knight)
Bethany:Β The reason I’m afraid about Me Before YouΒ is how sad everyone said it is, and someone mentioned having to hug their child. I try to avoid books where kids/teens die, so I wanted to make sure the storyline isn’t dealing with that issue, before I give it a try! Thanks!
Maryse’s Book Blog:Β No kids or teens in this one. π
Betty:Β Maryse’s Book Blog, I need a book recommendation! It must short (even a novella), romantic, HEA is a must. I just need need need something to get me out of this funk! Thank you!
Maryse: Betty! I have an oldie but goodie for you, and if you haven’t read it yet, I think you’ll love it! It’s calledΒ Hearts in DarknessΒ by Laura Kaye and it’s super sexy, short (just a little over a 100 pages) but I felt very satisfied with the detail and exquisite bad-boy romance-feel of it. Here’s my review.
Claudia: Hey Maryse, do you know when “November Nine” by Colleen Hoover will be released? On Goodreads says that is Nov. 9th (duh…lol) but I can’t find the book on amazon.
Maryse: LOL!!! I don’t doubt that it will release on that day. But probably next year (November 9 2015)… which is why we don’t see it on Amazon. She has another release (Confess: A Novel)Β coming out before it (on March 10th 2015).
Michelle: Looking for the title of a booK I can’t recall. Rock stars growing up in a trailer park kind of adopt a girl and raise her while on tour. She gets pregnant by a band member she seduced while he was drunk and passed out. Sounds creepy but it was a great book. Just can’t remember the name. ANYONE????
Maryse: Could it be this series?Β Terri Anne Browning’s “The Rocker” Series?Β I haven’t read them yet, but I know from the blurb of book #1 that it’s about a family and a band on tour… YEP!!! Cori just confirmed it saying: “The Rocker Who Holds Me by Terri Anne Browning. Love this series!”
Marsye…the reader question about the coupon cutter and Arbys is the Damaged series by Bijou Hunter. I live this series. The sister that likes to cut the coupon is Tawny. It also deals with a MC.
Thank you Barbara!!! I’m adding your answer in right now. *big hug*!!!
But the Rocker series is AWESOME and dean winchester should totally read it. If dean winchester like rock stars these ones are TOTALLY hot and the female characters are strong women too. I RECOMMEND HIGHLY!!!

Thanks Barbara!!! Wow, I read that one back in July of 2013!!! Loved Judd in that book!!! :). And thanks Maryse for posting!!!
Just finished reading Pull… WOW…. I hope she plans on making a third book, like I really really hope she does.
I think Pull completes the story…I kinda wish there was more to the ending, though.
Amy – Yes, read Becoming Calder then Finding Eden. They are fabulous! Must read Becoming Calder first then Finding Eden continues the story. Buy them both together because you’re going to want to start the second one immediately. Mia Sheridan’s writing is beautiful and ooohhhhh the feels!
Betty – I have to agree with Maryse, read Hearts In Darkness. It’s the first Laura Kaye book I read and it’s still one of my favorites!
I just finished Pull, the sequel to Push. The ending seemed pretty final and wrapped up to me. I have to say I was not a happy camper at *spoiler* But I understand that it was the direction the book needed to go.
I contacted the author of Push, Claire Wallis about Pull and she said Pull completes this storyline, and at this point, there is no plan for a book 3.
Maryse you haven’t read Becoming Calder yet????? If not,hop to it , it’s a beautifully written story that will stay with you for a while AMAZING!
