in Reading Order Guide:

Hey look! Brand new covers for this “bad-guy/hitman/girl escaping slavery” series (at least as per the first book ;) ) so I thought I’d post the reading order. P.S. I’ve read book #1 and it’s good! (here’s my review).  The author states: “…NOT a New Adult title. It, and all other books in the series are categorized as Suspense/Crime/Thriller/Romantic Suspense and Adult.

Check out the comments from some of our fellow readers that are enjoying them as well!

Sweeta: I totally loved Killing Sarai! *spoiler*, my heart just went reeling! Sarai is so tortured and has been dealt such a crappy hand, that I wanted Victor for her as much as she wanted him for himself! I am waiting on pins and needles for the next book!

Nicole: Fave from the last 30 days??… Killing Sarai, can’t wait for the sequel.

Rebecca: Killing Sarai was great!

Susana: Reviving Izabel by J.A. Redmerski great book.

About book #1:

Sarai was only fourteen when her mother uprooted her to live in Mexico with a notorious drug lord. Over time she forgot what it was like to live a normal life, but she never let go of her hope to escape the compound where she has been held for the past nine years.

Victor is a cold-blooded assassin who, like Sarai, has known only death and violence since he was a young boy. When Victor arrives at the compound to collect details and payment for a hit, Sarai sees him as her only opportunity for escape. But things don’t go as planned and instead of finding transport back to Tucson, she finds herself free from one dangerous man and caught in the clutches of another.

While on the run, Victor strays from his primal nature as he succumbs to his conscience and resolves to help Sarai. As they grow closer, he finds himself willing to risk everything to keep her alive; even his relationship with his devoted brother and liaison, Niklas, who now like everyone else wants Sarai dead.

As Victor and Sarai slowly build a trust, the differences between them seem to lessen, and an unlikely attraction intensifies. But Victor’s brutal skills and experience may not be enough in the end to save her, as the power she unknowingly holds over him may ultimately be what gets her killed.

This is their story…

Hi Maryse I dont comment much as I just love to enjoy reading your comments, recommendations and the reader feedback but i just couldnt hold back on this series… I loved the first 2 books of the “in the company of killers series” but the 3rd book The Swan and the Jackal totally absolutely blew my mind!! I have read hundreds of books but only 2 other books have left me begging to not only talk to someone straight away but I have not been able to get the story out of my mind! That was weeks ago! The twist at the end is like no other I have read or ever seen on tv If you havent already read the series I beg you and other readers to please do so i promise you will not regret it It is killing me to not have anyone to talk to about it!!! A big thanks to author JK Redmerski you nailed this!! Kathy
