Queen of super-dark reads (and I mean these can get DARK!!), and a new book in this series just went LIVE!!! π P.S. This is the author of my beloved dark-favorite “Comfort Food” (although it’s not part of this series).
Anna: I read Guilty Pleasures by Kitty Thomas about a year ago. I remember it wasnβt quite as dark as Iβd expected, but there were definitely some interesting twists and turns. It is one of those books that I still remember a lot about even a year later, and for someone like me who reads a million books and has a shifty memory that is probably saying something π
Tessa: *raises hand*. I did love her Submissive Fairy tales and Broken Dolls. …Brian is some major villain or something in Guilty Pleasures. He is introduced in Guilty Pleasures and is in his own stand alone, Broken Dolls
Amy: *fistbumps Tessa* Someone else is intrigued by Broken Dolls. Something about that one sounds so creepy and fun. …I believe anything by Kitty Thomas is dark (someone correct me if Iβm wrong).
Maryse: Agreed, Amy. Kitty Thomas is one of the more βdarkerβ read authors
Robyn: And yes Maryseβ¦.Kitty can do no wrong! All of her books are fantastic!
Melanie: Kitty Thomas has some really unique work.
About book #1:
A bored housewife, taken and trained for the pleasure of the highest bidder
Vivian Delaney leads a life of privilege, but behind closed doors she feels isolated and trapped in a gilded cage. Unable to achieve sexual pleasure with her husband, she finds herself in the capable hands of Anton, a massage therapist intent on awakening her to her full sexual potential. By any means necessary.
