<— I really enjoyed book #1 (quite a twist! – here’s my review) and now I’m hearing book #2 is just as great. And… maybe even better, Ahhhh so many awesome books and so little time. Still though, I have #2 high on my TBR list and fully intend to read it. How could I not, after these recommendations?
Renate: Maryse, So I have to share this amazing book I just finished called Jake Undone by Penelope Ward….So no MMA fighter, not a major Alpha, not an “intense” author….just a really great character dealing with angst (not dark)…again giving a Wilbur vibe…really a great read. I had a strong sense of deja vu reading this book…loved it non the less…cant wait to hear what you have to say…
Ann: Just finished it!!! It is so freaking good!!!!!
Sally: Did you read her first book Gemini it was SO GOOD! and Jake is the heroines brother from Gemini.
Renate: Just finished Gemini…a great book as well…but Jake was better and I know understand things more about Jake even though the books are completly stand alone.
Lisa: I need to read Gemini, I really loved Jake Undone.
Kristie: Loved both books!!!!
Marsha: Just finished reading “Gemini” and “Jake Undone” by Penelope Ward…..Oh my word….they were freaking AWESOME!!!! I think i found my new favorite Author!!!!! Cant wait for “My Skylar” to come out.
*eeeeep* You guys are making me happy-antsy again!! I can’t wait to see what this Jake’s all about. 😉
About book #1:
Diner waitress Allison Abraham had no idea her mundane life was about to dramatically change the day she serves a devastatingly handsome customer.
Allison is immediately captivated by the mysterious man who stared through her soul with his electric blue eyes. After he abruptly leaves the restaurant, she can’t get him out of her head.
She has no idea that he had actually come on a mission to find her.
Cedric Callahan wasn’t expecting to fall in love at first sight with the pretty waitress he’d set out to find. In fact, she was the last woman on Earth he should be having feelings for. But his selfish heart had other plans. Feeling compelled to know her before revealing himself, he makes her believe their meetings are coincidental.
After a passionate romance ignites, Cedric’s lies and secrets are finally revealed, changing both of their lives forever.
Maryse I have both books on my tbr list. I’m so overwhelmed with my book hoarding. I just started the Redheaded Series and loving it but holiday chores keep calling me!!! Ugh. Xoxo
Oh my crazy TBR list os SO overwhelmed too. It’s a good overwhelmed but I know this inability to read 3 books a day, or even 2 books a day is keeping me from some seriously awesome 5-star reads. *sigh* Still, the only thing I can do is keep trying… 😉
I’ve read and enjoyed both of these books. Both are really good stories with Gemini throwing me a few curveballs but I actually put Jake Undone in my Favorite collection for a future reread since he made my book bf list. And that cover?? Holy hell is it HOT!!
Whoa. That’s BIG Michele. Okay I’m definitely missing out…
Oh my gosh! Gemini is so, so good! I absolutely loved it! You must read it Maryse! Soon! 🙂
These are a MUST READ… Gemini blew me away and Jake Undone is amazing. Jake and I are in love and getting married. Yes I am crazy but he is upgraded to my book Husband…You will not be disappointed Penelope Ward is a writing god
I really enjoyed Gemini, very sweet. Haven’t read Jake yet but he’s high on my list…hm, like maybe right now 🙂
I loved both books! This author is amazing believe me!
I loved Gemini and just went to 1-click Jack Undone…..haha I had already bought it……YAY me!! Glad to see my TBR list is as out of control as everyone’s!
I read Jake Undone first by mistake and only discovered there was a Book 1 while reading Gemini. I enjoyed both but give JU the edge. JAKE IS HOT!!!
I read Jake Undone first by mistake (which both books can be read as stand-alone) but oh my! I made have some severe questions of what if this happened to me. Such a twist and I loved it!!!
Jake was sooo good!!! I loved it and man is he hottt…
I actually read my Skylar first not realizing these were related. They do read as stand alones. I’m just diving into Jake’s book now and I can’t put them down. Sometimes this author reminds me of Colieen Hoover. She gets you to feel like you are right there with the characters. Wish there were more than the three right now!
