Michelle Mankin’s "The Right Man" Signed Paperback Giveaway and Excerpt!

I was so excited to reveal the cover of this gorgeous book, and the premise of The Right Man is SO up my alley (he’s a famous rock star, and she’s a prostitute). OH WOW I LOVE unconventional love stories!! You know this one’s gonna bring on the tumultuous angst and social issues (don’t even get me started on the paparazzi…).

Sounds like a modern-day fairy tale (Cinderella anyone). My favorite of them all! P.S. Can I just say how in LOVE I am with the graphics? So dreamy and beautiful, I just want to immerse myself in their world.

Maria is looking for this one! Rock stars and just enough info to spark someone’s memory I’m sure (without any spoilers at all!). YAY US!

She asks:

hi maryse,  being trying to think of a book series that I read.

  • about a rock band,
  • first one has female pilot flying the band.
  • books have one word in title.
  • from a few years ago.

they were good but can’t remember the author or what the titles were…..lol.  does this ring a bell…..would love help finding the author to see if there are anymore in the series…..

I am looking for the answer to a reader question from a few months ago. Aubree was looking for a book about an engaged rock star that still sleeps with his best “girl” friend.

I believe even the author,  Karen Cimms was hoping for an answer too.
It’s been so long that I don’t know how far back on previous posts to check.  Please let me know if you have received an answer.   Or would you think about reposting?

Ginger Scott – The Waiting Series Reading Order

ANGST ALERT!!! And book #3 JUST WENT LIVE (but this series must be read in order)! No worries, my book-twin, Amy, LOVED the first two, and I trust everything she loves. Also, I love this author so I know right off the bat, that this series will rock my world.

The Waiting Series, which follows high school sweethearts Reed Johnson and Nolan Lennox through football, life, love and everything messy that goes along with it. The series begins with Waiting on the Sidelines and Going Long. Book 3 is for more mature readers and deals with adult themes.

Amy: I loved Waiting on the Sidelines and the sequel!! Yes, it was teenage angst but it was ANGST! And we love angst in just about any form, don’t we? ;)

Beverly: Waiting on the Sidelines is awesome! One of my favs.

Cheryl: …ended up reading another Ginger Scott series, Waiting on the Sidelines. I usually don’t like high school H/h story’s but this was an exception. Book 2 they were college age and had a fair amount of angst. read more
