<— SUPER INTENSE ROCK-STAR ANGSTY ROMANCE ALERT!!! My uber-angst/jaw-dropping romance loving book-twin (Amy) just ranted about how badly she wants to read this and yet… there’s SOMETHING about it (that she read, spoiler-wise) that is holding her back. AND STILL… she’s tempted.
And now… I’m intrigued. 😉

Nay: OMG, Maryse–I just finished a read-fest with At This Moment and the following two books, which is an epic saga about a rock star and the love of his life spanning 25 years. Talk about being put through the wringer and having your guts ripped out, chewed up and stomped on. That’s what this series did to me and I LOVED every minute of it! It was also VERY well written and edited. I’d be a happy, happy girl if I could read a series like this once a month! read more

Carla: Have you already read Wrecking Ball and Sledgehammer by P. Dangelico?! If you had’t, I think you’d like it. My God the slow burn and the buit up of those books are just amazing. Actually Wrecking Ball kind of reminded me of The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata. I love it! Couldn’t put them down for a minute! read more

Tracey is looking for this one! Another stepbrother romance but this one has a specific detail about him that might help pinpoint the exact book.

She asks:

I need your help again.  I was hoping you and your crew can help me find a book I read a year or two ago.

It’s about a teenage girl whose mom marries a man with an older son (maybe college age?)  they meet at a family dinner and she’s very shy.

Nothing happens (I don’t think) but they meet again after she graduates from college and comes home to visit and her stepbrother who got a knee injury playing professional soccer. read more

Oh a bad boy rocker book? Plus an over-protective father? This sounds like it could be loaded in that forbidden-romance feel. I love how she teases us with “…and it gets good!” 😉

“Okay ladies I need help ID’ing 2 books.

1. She’s the daughter of a rock legend & she falls in love with a rocker but her dad forbids their relationship. Her mom passed when she was young so she grew up on the road with her dad.

Her famous rocker dad is a single dad bc her mom died when she was young, so she grew up on the road with him. The love interest is younger & they instantly connect when his band is opening for her dad.
Her dad freaks & but forbids their relationship….and it gets good! read more

Oooooh this one sounds SO familiar. Almost like a Mia Sheridan book (maybe…Kyland?). Or wait. It also reminds me of that dark E.K. Blair series (Black Lotus)… but not quite. neutral *hrmph* Now I must know, too!
