It was “She’s the Man” with Amanda Bynes. She had such incredible comedic timing and hilarious facial expressions, I giggle through the whole thing. That is one of my favorite feel-good movies, so I can’t wait to see what we come up with, book-wise!
Sue needs our book help! Tee hee! This question is short and sweet and yet very unique!
A little earlier this year I had a kindle unlimited anthology.
The story I’m interested in was a runaway bride with her best friend in I think Yellowstone or another national park. The 2 of them lose track of the trail and almost go into a herd of buffalo. The runaway bride is famous and in disguise.
There was supposed to be a follow up book to complete the story. I would like to get the follow up book. The storyline was very engaging.
Michelle needs our book help! Hrm…. this one rings a bell for me. I wonder if it’s because it ended up on our “heroines disguised as a man” list?
Ok… here’s another one I read but can’t find. Gah!!
The h and her father are roadies for the band H is in.
She has a boys name so the H assumes she’s a he. They have funny banter and prank wars.
It wasn’t that long ago that I read it, but ya know my love of books pushed it into a black hole or something.
Thx for helping
Riri is looking for this one! Calling all historical romance lovers!! In fact, the right guess might just be on THIS list, since it features “disguised as a man” heroines and a lot of them were historical romances. 🙂
I have been really looking for this slow burn historical romance that I read about 3 years ago.
The book is about a lady who goes to the hero’s house disguised (as a man? I am not quite sure) but the ruse isn’t up for long, hero is very smart and realises soon enough that she’s a woman.
Stayed up until 4am to finish this one and it was totally worth my current zombie-like state, even though I had plenty of sleep. I just woke up at noon (*gasp* I KNOW!! I NEVER do that!). But I needed my 8 hours of sleep so… I don’t feel so guilty about my extravagantly lazy Saturday. AND!!! it just means I’ll probably stay up real late reading tonight and do it again all day tomorrow. Hey! I’m back on vacation until Wednesday, so you can bet I’m living large. And by living large, I mean, reading at all hours of the day and night with no concern for socially acceptable sleep schedules. Wooohooo!! I’m on a book bender! Imma read until I pass out!!! 😉 Okay so the afternoon coffee has apparently made me a little hyper, too.
